DALLA DIREZIONE
Cari Genitori,
benvenuti alla nostra Newsletter di febbraio!
Dopo la consegna delle pagelle del I Quadrimestre ed i
colloqui con gli insegnanti, abbiamo dato avvio alle
attività del II Quadrimestre.
In questi due mesi abbiamo collaudato il nuovo servizio
navette con i nostri mezzi. Un sentito ringraziamento ai
nostri autisti che si sono adoperati per garantire
puntualità, comodità e soprattutto la massima
sicurezza per tutti i nostri alunni.
Ricordiamo ai Rappresentanti di classe che
prossimamente si terranno i Consigli di Interclasse:

Nel mese di marzo verranno effettuate
le iscrizioni dei nostri alunni agli esami Cambridge, che
si svolgono in collaborazione con la Oxford School di
Venezia. Qui di seguito indichiamo le classi coinvolte e
il tipo di test che andranno a sostenere:
3^ Secondaria: First Certificate
1^ Secondaria: P.E.T. for Schools
5^ Primaria: K.E.T. for Schools
4^ Primaria: Movers- Young Learners
2^ Primaria: Starters- Young Learners
DAGLI ALUNNI
ART ROOM!
Vi informiamo che per tutte le classi di scuola primaria
e secondaria è stato organizzato un laboratorio di arte,
dove si svolgeranno tutte le lezioni pratico-artistiche.
Un ringraziamento speciale a Ms Tomczack che ha
allestito il nuovo spazio.

Siamo lieti di informarVi che lunedì 02 marzo daremo il
benvenuto a Pablo Fernandez Becerril, studente
dell’Università di Madrid che interagirà con le
insegnanti ed i bambini di Scuola dell’infanzia in un
percorso di stage e tirocinio sull’insegnamento
infantile bilingue.
Il 5 marzo sarà la Giornata Mondiale del libro. Tutte le
nostre classi saranno pertanto coinvolte dagli
insegnanti in attività didattiche e creative o in iniziative
volte a promuovere tra i giovani la lettura!
GRUPPO PLEIADI
Le giornate del 23 e del 24 marzo saranno dedicate alla
scienza ed in particolare al Planetario! Con grande
piacere infatti ospiteremo a scuola il gruppo Pleiadi,
che si occupa da anni di divulgazione scientifica, con
laboratori, planetari digitali, mostre……Bambini e
ragazzi avranno dunque la possibilità di vedere a
scuola migliaia di stelle sulla volta celeste.

ci sarà il secondo appuntamento annuale con gli Open
Days della Scuola dell’Infanzia e della Scuola Primaria;

GRUPPO PLEIADI
FROM THE SCHOOL MANAGEMENT
Dear Families,
We would like to welcome you to the newsletter for
February.
All families have now received their child’s mid-term
report and have had the opportunity to meet with the
class teachers. It is time now to settle into the second
part of the academic year.
During the last two months we have activated our new
bus service, we would like to thank our drivers who are
providing a punctual, comfortable and most
importantly safe service for our children.
The month of March is also the time to enroll our
children for the various English Language exams to be
taken in May and June.
Our children will be taking the following Cambridge
exams in collaboration with the Oxford School in
Venice:
Middle 3 - First Certificate
Middle 1 - P.E.T For Schools
Class 5 - K.E.T For Schools
Class 4 - Movers – Young Learners
Class 2 - Starters – Young Learners
We would like to remind you that the next Class
Representative Meetings will be held soon on the
following dates:

FROM THE PUPILS
We are pleased to welcome on Monday the 2nd of
March, Pablo Fernandez Becerril to our school, he is a
student at Madrid University sudent and studying how
children are taught in bilingual schools. He will be
present in the classes of our Early Years children.
WORLD BOOK DAY
ART ROOM!
We would like to inform you that we have activated
next to our Drama room an ART ROOM, where all the
children in the Primary School will have their Art
lessons. A big thank you goes to our Art Teacher Miss
Tomczak who oragnised the new space during our
White Week break.
he 23rd and 24th of March will be dedicated to science
as we are pleased to welcome to school for the first
time the Pleadi Group. They are a specialist group who
for years have been involved in the world of science,
carrying out workshops, laboratories enabling children
and adults to learn about science. They will be bringing
a Planetarium to the school which will enable all our
children to see here in school the stars!!!

The 5th of March is WORLD BOOK DAY, all the children
in the school will be involved in book related activities
in order to promote the importance of reading.
