PROSSIMI EVENTI
UNA SCUOLA GRECA IN VISITA!
Con l’arrivo della primavera stiamo iniziando ad
organizzare il nostro Summer Camp, che si terrà nei
seguenti periodi:


16 giugno - 18 luglio e
25 agosto - 5 settembre.
La scuola si trasformerà in un “camp” aperto a bambini e
ragazzi dai 3 ai 14 anni che verranno coinvolti in svariate
attività tenute in lingua inglese.
La scheda di iscrizione con indicato il costo del servizio
verrà pubblicata direttamente sul nostro sito web.
Ci teniamo a ricordarvi di consultare spesso il sito web
della scuola, dove troverete sempre le News più recenti,
oltre al Menù ed alla Newsletter mensile.

I nostri alunni di classe II e III secondaria partiranno
domenica 30 marzo per la Spagna, destinazione
Salamanca!
Gli insegnanti che li accompagneranno in questa
esperienza sono: Prof.ssa Julie Maynard e Prof. Leonardo
Tiengo.
Le classi 1^ e 2^ primaria, a partire da giovedì 03 aprile
parteciperanno ad un progetto di danza, gestito
dall’associazione “Creattivamente”.
Impareranno ad
esprimere se stessi e le proprie emozioni attraverso il
corpo. Non vediamo l’ora di scoprire le reazioni dei nostri
bambini a questa interessante iniziativa.
Con il 31 marzo si conclude invece, per gli alunni di scuola
secondaria, il corso di Judo. Riprenderanno regolarmente
le attività all’aperto, con lezioni di Pallavolo e Basket.
Il 15 aprile avremo il piacere di ospitare durante la
mattinata 29 alunni tra gli 11 e i 12 anni frequentanti una
scuola greca, la I.M. Panagiotopoulos School in Athens,
Greece. I nostri alunni collaboreranno con loro ad un
progetto dal titolo Friendship across the Adriatic and Ionian
Seas, Amicizia attraverso il mare Adriatico e lo Ionico, che
coinvolgerà le tre classi della scuola secondaria coordinate
dalla prof.ssa Evans.
LA GARA DELLE UOVA
Com’è tradizione, festeggeremo la Pasqua con la Gara delle
Uova Decorate per la quale lunedì 14 aprile gli alunni
dovranno portare a scuola un uovo sodo. Contiamo sul
fatto che anche quest’anno ci sapranno sorprendere con le
idee fantasiose con le quali riescono a trasformare le uova,
che verranno esposte martedì 16 aprile. La premiazione si
terrà mercoledì 16 aprile, l’ultimo giorno prima delle
vacanze di Pasqua: la scuola resterà chiusa da giovedì 18
aprile a lunedì 21 aprile.
Sarà poi chiusa anche venerdì 25 aprile.

Dear Families,
UPCOMING EVENTS
Greek School to Visit on Tuesday 15th April 2014
We would like to welcome you to the newsletter for
March.
March has seen the beginning of the organization for our
Summer Schools.
You may now sign up if you wish your child to participate in
our Summer Camps, they will be held during the following
periods
From 16th of June until the 18th of July
From 25th August until the 5th September
The summer camps are open for children from 3 to 14 years
old. Our school transforms into a Summer Camp offering a
variety of activities in English. The enrollment form and
further information will be available soon on our website.
We would like to invite you all to check our school

News and your Monthly Newsletter and Menu.

Our Middle 2 and Middle 3 School children will be leaving
for their yearly trip abroad where they will be visiting
Salamanca in Spain.
Prof. Tiengo, Prof. Mason and Mrs Maynard will
accompany our children.
Classes 1 and 2 will begin on Thursday the 3rd of April an
eight week dance project together with a local Dance
Company called ‘Creattivamente’. They will be exploring
how to express themselves and their emotions using their
bodies. We look forward to seeing how our children react
to this interesting collaboration
We are pleased to welcome a group of 29 children aged
between 11-12yrs who are attending the I.M.
Panagiotopoulos School in Athens, Greece.
We will be collaborating with them on a project entitled
Friendship across the Adriatic and Ionian Seas". This will
involve all three classes of the Middle School and be
coordinated by Miss Melissa Evans.
Easter Egg Competition
As is tradition, we will be celebrating Easter with our Easter
Egg competition. The children will need to bring to school
on Monday 14th of April a hardboiled egg, ready to
decorate. Each year we have seen the incredible ideas that
the children have had in order to transform their eggs; I am
sure this year will be no different!
This month sees the end of the Judo programme for the
Middle School and the beginning of Basketball and
Volleyball for the last part of the academic year.
The eggs will be on display on Tuesday 15th of April ready
for the judging and prize giving to be held on Wednesday
16th April, before we close for the Easter weekend.
We would like to remind you that the school will be closed
for the Easter weekend from Thursday the 17th of April
until Monday 21st of April.
Closing again for Friday the 25th of April.
