First, thanks to everyone for a beautiful celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation on Friday, April 24th. The experience of confirming our young people brought delight to the Provost. Perhaps we will have a chance for him to come again and celebrate with us. Thank you for all those who helped make the Third Annual Headmaster’s Ball for All Saints a success. It was a most enjoyable evening. If you are interested in learning more about the school, please, do not hesitate to contact me. Tours of the school can happen during normal business hours, MondayFriday. Feel free to email me at [email protected]. Thank you also for all who made our first Sunday celebrations of First Holy Communion a beautiful and moving experience for our children and their families. We will celebrate First Holy Communions this weekend and conclude them next weekend, Mother’s Day, at the Masses at 10:15 and 11:30. The small groups of children permit us to personalize the experience. The parents present their children to the parish – as they did at their baptisms – at the start of the celebration, we hold a children’s homily, the first holy communicants bring up the gifts and they make their first holy communions before the rest of the community. It is a cause of great joy for the whole parish. I am grateful for everyone’s cooperation and willingness to try something new. I am pleased to announce that next Sunday, May 10th, after the Italian Mass, I will bless the new statue of Our Lady of Lourdes, which you can already see outside, in front of Momma’s House. May Our Lady intercede for all mothers and support them in their noble vocation of bringing life into the world. Dio Vi benedica, Padre Elias CHURCH OF ST.
