The peace of the Risen Christ heals the
fear in our hearts and builds the trust we
need to nurture right relationships with
God and with each other.
CONGRATULATIONS, BISHOP MCGRATTAN AND
BLESSINGS UPON YOUR NEW MINISTRY. Our local
bishop, His Excellency William McGrattan has been named
by the Holy Father, Bishop of Peterborough. We rejoice in
thanksgiving for all that His Excellency has done for the
Archdiocese of Toronto, and especially for our zone and
our parish. We pledge our prayer that his future ministry
be sustained and guided by God’s blessings.
First Communion & Practice Schedule
If your child has been prepared for First Communion,

Marygrove & Ozanam Camps
Our parish St. Vincent de Paul Society
will be taking registrations for children
wanting to attend Summer Camp.
Both Marygrove (camp for girls) &
Ozanam Camps (camp for boys) are
operated by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. This is a
one week excursion, is free of charge, and is intended for
children who would not otherwise be able to afford a
summer camp experience.
If you are interested in
applying for any of these camps, (for children ages 5-13),
please attend a meeting on Monday, April 28th anytime
from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall.
St. Anthony Committee Meeting
This year, we are planning the Feast of St.
Anthony for Sunday, June 15th. Anyone wishing
to help us out with the planning and preparation
of the feast is asked to attend a meeting this
Tuesday, April 29th at 7:30 p.m. in the parish
meeting room.
Knights of Columbus
Knights of Columbus meet on Wednesday, April 30th, at
7:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall.
First Friday & Holy Hour
Please join us on Friday, May 2nd.
Masses will be
celebrated at 9:00 a.m. & 7:30 p.m.; Holy Hour with
Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament - from 6:30 – 7:30
p.m.; Confessions in the morning from 8:15 – 8:45 a.m.,
and in the evening from 6:30 p.m. to 7:20 p.m. Come
pray with us.
Next weekend, we take up the 2nd Sharelife Collection.
Thanks to your generosity, so far we’ve collected
$13,217! It is our hope and prayer that our parish will
reach this year’s goal of $43,000.
You may bring or mail in your donation to the office, make
your donation on line with the Chancery Office, or place it
in the regular Sunday collection. You may also choose to
wait for one of the next two ShareLife Sundays:

New Beginnings
Do you know someone who has experienced the death of a
spouse, a separation or divorce? If you or someone you
know
is
searching
for
hope
and
spiritual
encouragement after such a loss, join us for an
informal gathering in the parish meeting room on
Monday, May 5th , at 7:30 p.m. All are welcome.
Gathering of Holy Land Pilgrims
For pilgrims who journeyed with us to the Holy Land last
March, please join us for a gathering on Monday, May 5th
at 7:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall.
A New Beginnings Inspirational Talk
…. will take place on Tuesday, May 6th at 7 p.m. at the
Catholic Pastoral Centre, 1155 Yonge St. in Toronto. It is
entitled. "On Marriage and Annulment." Our speaker will
be Fr. Brian Clough. Pre-registration is not necessary.
55+ Group
The 55+ group will be getting together for a meeting and
refreshments on Thursday, May 8th at 9:30 a.m. in the
Parish Hall. All the young at heart are invited!
Confirmation Candidates
A reminder that the next Oneight Session will be held on
Saturday, May 10th. Candidates are asked to attend either
the 10:00 a.m. or the 2:00 p.m. session in the Parish Hall.

Riunione del Comitato di Sant’Antonio
Quest’anno celebreremo la festa esterna con
processione e benedizione di pani in onore del Santo
di Padova, domenica 15 giugno. Chi desidera aiutare
nella programmazione, puo’ riunirsi nella saletta
martedi prossimo, 29 aprile alle ore 7:30 di sera.
Cavalieri di Colombo
I Cavalieri di Colombo si riuniranno mercoledì, 30
aprile, alle 7:30 p.m. nella Sala Parrocchiale. Chi è
interessato a diventare membro dei Cavalieri di
Colombo parli con P. Vito.

Il 2 maggio è il primo Venerdì del mese. La Santa
messa sarà celebrata alle 9 del mattino e alle 7:30 di
sera. Le confessioni dalle 8:15 alle 8:45 del mattino e

Incontro dei Pellegrini
