SOCIAL EVENING & DINNER DANCE
For the handicapped & poor children in
India Organized by the Italian
Women & Men’s Group.

Dinner includes: Wine & soft drinks
$45 per person
Tickets are available after mass or at
parish office during the week. In India we
have several centers taking care of over 200
children who are physically handicapped,
mentally challenged, poor and orphaned.
We educate these children intellectually and
spiritually to enable them to visualize brilliant
academic achievements and good career
possibilities through vocational training
programs. Our vision is to share the love and
joy of God to these poor abandoned youth.
We try to help them realize their beautiful
dreams about their bright future. If you would
like to sponsor a child, please call Fr. Antony
at the parish office.

congregazione educa questi ragazzi
intellettualmente e spiritualmente,
prepararli a realizzarsi e reggiungere un
traguardo accademico. Il nostro scopo è
di condividere l’amore di Dio con questi
giovani poveri e abbandonati. Facciamo
il possibile per aiutarli affinche’ realizzino
il sogni della loro vita. Se volete
sponsorizzare uno di questi ragazzi,
chiamate Padre Anthony all’ufficio.

For all engaged couples who will marry at Epiphany Parish in 2016.
The parish will be conducting a marriage preparation course
beginning on Sunday, January 17, 2016 with a special blessing
during the 9:30am mass. Registration is now open at the parish
office or contact Joé Lee 905-693-8888.
SUNDAY SCHOOL will resume on Sunday,
January 17 after the 9:30 am mass
in the parish hall.
BIBLE STUDY will resume on Monday, January 11 at 7pm in the Blessed Luigi
Monti room.
Any future cheques should be made payable to “Family of Faith” (and
not to Epiphany Parish).

ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT Will take place Monday to Friday after
the 8am mass until 7pm. “Could you not spend one hour a week in prayer before
me?” Please make a special commitment to dedicate an hour with Jesus in the Blessed
Sacrament.
The Jubilee Year of Mercy was announced by Pope Francis as a year to be lived
intensely in each local Church throughout the world, allowing every person to
encounter the mercy of God. The most evident sign of this pastoral care is the
chance to open a Door of Mercy in every diocese. These doors, analogous to the
Holy Doors of the Papal Basilicas in Rome, will allow people who cannot travel to
Rome to make a Jubilee pilgrimage. After the solemn inauguration of the Holy
Year – marked by the opening of the Holy Door of Saint Peter's Basilica on
December 8, 2015 – all locally-designated Churches throughout the world will
open their own Doors of Mercy in communion with the Church of Rome as part of
the Eucharistic celebration of the Third Sunday of Advent or Gaudete Sunday.
The Holy Father has asked that special indulgences be available for the
Faithful throughout the Year of Mercy until November 20, 2016.
The Holy Doors of Mercy in the Archdiocese of Toronto are now open!
Designated churches in our area: St. Paul's Basilica, St. Patrick's Parish,
Toronto, St. Theresa's Parish, Scarborough.
EPIPHANY OF OUR LORD PARISH WELCOMES NEW PARISHIONERS!
Please register at the parish office during the week Monday to Saturday. We encourage
you to use our Sunday Offering Envelopes to assist in the needs of the church. We have
the option of Pre-Authorized Giving (direct debit from your bank).
BAPTISMS are celebrated on the fourth Sunday of the month by appointment. Parents
are required to be registered at the parish and practice their faith on a regular basis.
Please contact the parish office for registration.
MARRIAGES Couples planning to be married must contact the parish office one year in
advance. At least one party must be a registered member of the parish. Both should
practice their faith regularly and must receive personal preparation for entering marriage.
