“Scultura in movimento”(Arthur Drexler), prima automobile al mondo esposta in un Museo d’Arte Moderna,
il MOMA di New York, la Cisitalia, realizzata su telaio tubolare e costruita in piccola serie con scocca di alluminio
saldata a un’ossatura d’acciaio, ebbe un’impostazione formale che segnò una svolta decisiva dello stile automobilistico.
“Running Sculpture” (Arthur Drexler), first car in the world permanently displayed
in a Museum of Modern Art, namely the MOMA in New York, the Cisitalia, realised on tubular chassis
and manufactured in limited series with aluminium body welded to a skeleton of fine sheet steel,
had a design which marked a decisive turnpoint of the automotive style.
