At the ASB trade fair in
Hannover BONFIGLIOLI RIDUTTORI presented its new power transmission concept,
which features a
series of innovative
gear motors. From the
offset of this project,
using the very latest technology, careful consideration was
given to structural resistance,
gear design and materials to produce a range of
motors which are compact in size yet yield high
performance figures. The “S” series is available in
2 design shapes, both with compact and IEC
motors, and in 5 sizes enabling to meet all requirements in the widest possible application range.

NUOVO STABILIMENTO SEZIONE INGRANAGGI

o stabilimento Bonfiglioli Riduttori sorge
su un'area di circa 25.000 metri quadrati di
cui circa 12.500 coperti, ampie aree sono
destinate al transito dei mezzi di trasporto per le
operazioni di carico e scarico o manovra. Una
parte di recente costruzione (1995) ha consentito di
centrare due unità produttive in un'unica struttura
per la lavorazione di tutti i componenti interni del
riduttore. In particolare nella sezione ingranaggi
sono costruiti alberi, pignoni e corone in acciaio,
viti senza fine, corone per viti senza fine in bronzo
oltre a numerosi altri particolari destinati ai variatori meccanici, ai motori elettrici ed ai riduttori
epicicloidali della divisione Trasmital. La produzione eseguita é consegnata con cadenza giornaliera agli stabilimenti di montaggio delle provincie di
Bologna, Modena e Forlì. Le quntità prodotte e
movimentate sono di 20.500 pezzi al giorno. Le
lavorazioni interne eseguite su impianti ad alta tecnologia dotati di sistemi di controllo post-process, i
piani di autocontrollo a bordo macchina per gli
operatori, gli strumenti in dotazione ed una sala
metrologica per il controllo degli ingranaggi unica
in italia per numero e tipologia dei controllori
inscritti, consentono di garantire una elevata qualità nel rispetto della, già da tempo raggiunta, certificazione ISO 9001. Le macchine utilizzate, Torni,

The Bonfiglioli Riduttori plant rises up
over an area of nearly 25,000 square
metres, 12,500 of which are covered, while large
areas are designated for the transit of vehicles for
loading, unloading procedures or other manoeu vres. A recently constructed part of the plant (1995)
has made it possible to centralize two production
units into a single structure for the production of all
internal components of reduction units. In particu lar, the gear section builds shafts, pinions and steel
ring gears, worm screws, ring gears for worm
screws in bronze, in addition to many other parts for
mechanical variators, electric motors and planetary
reduction units of the Trasmital Division. The pro duction is delivered daily to the assembly plants in
the Bologna, Modena and Forlì areas. The quanti ties produced and handled amount to 20,500 pieces
per day. The work inside carried out on high-tech nology systems equipped with post-process control
systems, self-control programs on board the machi ne for operators, equipped instruments and a metro logy room for checking gears -- unique in Italy for
the number and type of controllers inscribed -- all
guarantee high quality in compliance with ISO 9001
certification which has been recognized the com pany for some time now. The machines utilized,

filetti, per denti ed altre specializzazioni organizzate in isole singole, in linee e centri di lavorazione
sono dotate di sistemi di alimentazione automatica
con polmonature elevate e caricatori che consentono alle stesse di operare anche senza presidio in
perfetta autonomia con il controllo al 100% dei
pezzi. I controlli numerici inseriti ormai da tempo
nella totalità degli impianti consentono la massima
flessibilità nei riattrezzaggi e riprogrammazioni
delle lavorazioni. Alcuni numeri possono chiarire
meglio la struttura dello stabilimento: 165 macchine utensili; 80 caricatori a portale; 30 unità di controllo; 3 turni di lavoro; 156 controlli numerici; 9
robot antropomorfi e cartesiani; 75 alimentatori
pallettizzatori; 200 totale addetti. La ricerca, l'innovazione tecnologica, l'elevato grado di automazione e la professionalità degli operatori consentono
la massima competitività della struttura. L'estrema
attenzione é posta nella cura dell'ambiente, delle
condizioni di lavoro e della sicurezza, nella scelta
degli impianti e dei mezzi di protezione dei lavoratori. Gruppi di aspirazione sul posto di lavoro e di
riemmissione, separati per tipologia di fumi e polveri con capacità complessiva di 150.000 metri
cubi/ora consentono su un volume complessivo di
circa 120.000 metri cubi dello stabile vuoto, un
ricambio completo di aria ogni 45 minuti. I fumi
dopo abbattimento e filtrazione sono immessi in
atmosfera nel rispetto delle più restrittive normative in materia ambientale. Impianti centralizzati di
distribuzione e filtraggio degli oli da taglio con una
capacità complessiva di 35.000 litri e delle acque
emulsionate garantiscono agli operatori un
ambiente pulito con il minimo contatto.

control, long a part of the system, grants the greate st flexibility in the re-equipping and re-program ming of the processes. Some figures will serve to
better illustrate the structure of the plant: 165

Suction units and re-emission units in the workpla ce, separated by type of fumes and dust with an ove rall capacity of 150,000 cubic metres/hour give a
complete change of the air every 45 minutes for a
total volume of 120,000 cubic metres of empty
space. After the reduction and filtering of the fumes,
the fumes are emitted into the atmosphere in full
compliance with the strictest environmental stan d a rds. Centralized distribution and filtering
systems for cutting oils with an overall capacity of
35,000 litres and for emulsified water ensure opera tors a clean environment with the minimum contact.

5000 G9S/P9S di Inverter Fuji sono il

per la progettazione e costruzione
di un riduttore angolare a più stadi.

L
a struttura di ricerca della Bonfiglioli
ha ottenuto un importantissimo successo, grazie al riconoscimento internazionale di un proprio brevetto riguardante
un riduttore angolare a più stadi. Questo
risultato é frutto di 3 anni di lavoro che
hanno impegnato il reparto ricerca e sviluppo, elemento di punta della nostra or g a n i z z azione e rappresenta una ulteriore dimostrazione dell'efficacia e della creatività dei
nostri ingegnieri. Il progetto ha come punto
distintivo e qualificativo una coppia di ingranaggi ad assi ortogonali definiti da un pignone conico di tipo ipoide ed una corona conica. Guardare al futuro, anticipare i tempi,
pensare l'impensabile sono punti fermi della
nostra filosofia che si concretizzano con la
realizzazione, che giorno dopo giorno entrano nella vita quotidiana di tante imprese
nostre clienti ed utilizzatrici con le quali,
crescere insieme é una delle nostre più grandi
soddisfazioni.

world patent for the design and construc tion of a multi-stage right angle reduction unit.
The research organization of Bonfiglioli has obtai ned noteworthy success from the international
recognition of its own patent for a right angle
reduction unit with several stages. This result is
the fruit of 3 years of efforts which engaged the
research and development department, a promi nent part of our organization, and is further proof
of the effectiveness and creativity of our engineers.
The project's distinctive element is a pair of gears
defined by a hypoid-type toothed tapered pinion
and an orthonogal axes ring bevel gear. Looking
towards the future, second-guessing the times, and
thinking the unthinkable are the great strengths of
our company philosophy. And they are translated
into action and the awareness that day after day
they are part of the daily life of so many companies
and the people who use them. Growing together
