The journey initiated by Jesus in Galilee, then picked up by St Paul till Rome, was carried on by
John Paul II who traveled through the globe. In the steps of Christ John Paul II, a true giant of
the faith, preached, in the whole world, to all peoples, and by all means
the Gospel of Jesus.
Il cammino iniziato da Gesù in Galilea e quello proseguito da S.Paolo, fino
a Roma, è stato portato avanti da Giovanni Paolo II che è stato in tutto il
mondo. Sui passi di Cristo, Giovanni Paolo II, vero gigante della Fede, ha
predicato in tutto il mondo, a tutti e con ogni mezzo, il Vangelo di Gesù.
Faith needs authentic and credible witnesses, and no one,
in our times, was so more than John Paul II.
For Christ he literally spent all his life.
La Fede ha bisogno di testimoni autentici e credibili e nessuno lo è stato più di
Giovanni Paolo II, nel nostro tempo. Per Cristo ha consumato tutta la sua vita.
Vero Vicario di Cristo sulla terra, portatore di sofferenza nella propria
carne, ha attratto su di se il bene di tutti ma, la cosa più straordinaria,
anche l’amore dei giovani. Il vuoto lasciato dal caro Santo Padre è
immenso e solo l’amore di Gesù può colmarlo.
True Vicar of Christ on earth, a carrier of suffering in
his own flesh,. He captivated the good will of all men,
nd what is most extraordinary, the love of young
people. The emptieness left behind by the
disappearance of the beloved Holy Father, can never
be fill, except by the love of Christ himself.
How many practical lessons this great Pope left behind for us! He taught us how to forgive, how to love unconditionally all people, how to the defend
human dignity and life, how to suffer and accept and bear evil, how to surrender to and love the Mother of Jesus, how to search and strenuously
defend peace, how to be absolutely faithful to one’s role in liegeman how to find and treasure true joy in Christ…
Quanti insegnamenti concreti ci ha
lasciato questo grande Papa: il saper
chiedere perdono; l’amore
incondizionato per tutti; la difesa
della dignità umana e della vita; il
saper soffrire e come accettare e
sopportare il male; l’abbandono e
l’amore filiale per la Madre di Gesù; la
ricerca e la strenua difesa della Pace;
la fedeltà assoluta al proprio ruolo; la
certezza della vera gioia in Cristo…

molto frutto (Gv 12,24)
La grandezza di Giovanni Paolo II si manifesterà anche dopo la sua morte perché
il suo operato in vita, nel tempo, produrrà molti frutti. Tra questi, il più bello,
sarà quello generato dalla marea di giovani che l’hanno seguito e stimato e che
rappresentano la nuova primavera della Chiesa nel mondo!
Truly, I say to you, unless the grain of wheat falls to the earth and dies, it remains lone; but if it dies, it produces
much fruit. (Jn 12,24)
The greatness of John Paul II will reveal itself more and more after his death
because, in time, his work in life will produce much fruit, the most beautiful of
which will be the influence he exercised on myriads of young people who
followed him and esteemed him, and who represent the new spring of the Church
in the world.
