Triple action ceramics
Caesar presents Care, a porcelain stoneware product that is the result of innovation and in-depth
research that, thanks to its special features, has a triple action:
1 – for health
Installed in indoor areas, Care inhibits the proliferation of germs and bacteria. In fact, the ceramic
body contains natural materials able to prevent, day in, day out, the formation and multiplication of
bacteria, guaranteeing total hygiene.
2 – for the environment
Care has a photo-catalytic action able to purify the air. That is because when Care tiles are
exposed to sunlight, they abate various polluting substances. Therefore, if installed outside, be it on
floors or walls, Care is able to reduce the level of pollution.
3 – for cleaning
When Care comes into contact with water, droplets do not form, but, instead, water forms a thin
layer that spreads all over the entire surface: this feature prevents the formation of dirt and makes

Comparazione nell’abbattimento delle sostanze inquinanti
Nella tabella viene esposta la comparazione fra l’attività disinquinante fotocatalitica naturale su un campione di una normale
piastrella di ceramica (linea blu) e l’effetto sul campione di una superficie di grès porcellanato Care24 nel corso di 8 ore.
Già dopo un’ora si vedono gli effetti dell’attività fotocatalitica della superficie attiva di Care24 nella rimozione dei Nox*.
• NOx, una miscela di monossido e biossido di azoto, nociva per la salute dell’uomo, che contribuisce alla formazione di smog e all’inquinamento da piogge acide.
Comparison in the abatement of polluting substances:
The chart shows a comparison between the effect of the natural, photo-catalytic anti-polluting action on a sample of a standard ceramic tile (blue
stripe) and the effect on a sample of Care24 porcelain stoneware, over a period of 8 hours. After 1 hour, the effect of Care24 photo-catalytic active
surface in the removal of NOx* compounds is manifest.
• NOx, a mix of nitrogen monoxide and dioxide, hazardous for health and contributing to the formation of smog and acid rain pollution.
