I am happy to announce that we have the dates for the 2016 World Championships! So please
enter it in your diaries: 13-21 Aug 2016.
Before the Championships we will have an MLAIC Friendship match to test the capabilities of the
range and the Hungarian team. The date for this international match will be: 26-29 May 2016.
Range:
We finalized the business plan of the World Champs, and I am happy to announce that the cost will
be cca 10% less than the previous years. The range itself is located inside the territory of
Sarlóspuszta Klub Hotel resort, as I mentioned to you in Spain. The range is a very convenient
design: a 100 m long shooting house with 30 pcs 25 m, 30 pcs 50 m and 20 pcs 100 m stands. All
stands are placed on a 4 m wide concrete basement, with roof above it. All stands are separated with
walls. Parking is very close to the shooting house, so the shooters will only have to carry the guns for
a few meters. The area is plain, no hills to climb to get to the shooting house. I think it will be very
convenient for all. The clay target ranges are also located inside the resort, so no need to travel far
for the clay shooters. We are going to use old fashioned paper targets not electric targets. And they
also will be evaluated the old fashioned way.
Accommodation, travel services:
We contacted all the hotels in the 20 km vicinity of the resort to offer special prices for the
participants of the Word Champs. In two weeks I will be able to give you the contact info for
reservation. We will also contract a car rental company and airport transfer company to offer us
discounted services. We will also have many special programs for you to see Hungary.

Legal questions:
The importation of ML guns to Hungary is license free, but we will help the airport administration of
course with some kind of official proof from the authorities that you are travelling with the guns to the
championships. The balckpowder and caps are licensed in Hungary, and the BP and caps use for
the competition will have to be stored at the storage room of the range, where every participating
nation will have its own place.
Special events:
We would like to have some special events, that are part of our national shooting program. Some of
them are MLAIC disciplines, like Gettysburg, and some of them are our national disciplins like:
- Berdan: 50 m standing for percussion breech loaders
- Trapper: 50 m standing for iron sight patch roundball rifles (no shooting jacket, boots, or aperture
glasses allowed)
- Augustin: Smooth bore percussion muskets 50 m standing, French 200 m target
And probably:
- Field target trophy: A gentle walk in the woods between 10 shooting positions simulating hunting
scenes and various distances with special targets, with shooters dressed in costumes matching their
rifle.
We believe they will make an interesting addition to the standard MLAIC program.
Welcoming future MLAIC member
We have a plan to help Central-Eastern European nations in our vicinity to start our beautiful sport. In
these countries competitive blackpowder shooting currently does not exist, and the legal background
is missing in some cases as well. We plan to organize a special event for them also. With the help of
firearms manufacturers, we are going to have 5-10 pistols, revolvers and rifles for them at the range,
that their shooters will be able to use with close support of experienced ML shooters. They will
compete outside our system, against each other. We believe this can be a good start for Slovenia,
Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Moldova, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia. We will contact the
shooting associations of these countries to offer the possibility.
So dear All! I am very-very happy that we will be able to welcome you in Hungary! This is such a
great step for our little country. I can promise you that we will do our best to organize a successful
championship, and I will be happy to accept you suggestions regarding the questions of
organization. I am looking forward to answer your questions in email, mobile or personally in
Portugal this year!

sono felice di annunciare che abbiamo le date per il Campionato del Mondo 2016!
Mettetele quindi nelle vostre agende: 13 ‐ 21 agosto 2016.
Prima del Campionato ci sarà una gara MLAIC in amicizia per verificare la funzionalità del
poligono e la squadra Ungherese. Le date per questa gara internazionale saranno: 26‐29
Maggio 2016.
Campo di gara:
Abbiamo finalizzato il piano economico dei Campionati e sono felice di dire che i costi
saranno circa il 10% più bassi delle edizioni precedenti. Il poligono è all’interno dell’area
dell’ Hotel Sarlòspuszta Klub, come avevo anticipato in Spagna. Il campo ha una
disposizione funzionale: un poligono a 100 m con 30 piazzole, a 25 m con 30 piazzole, a 50
m con 20 piazzole (frase scritta male in inglese). Tutti gli stand hanno un pavimento largo 4
m in calcestruzzo e sono coperti da tettoia. Tutti gli stand sono separati da una parete. Il
parcheggio è vicinissimo al poligono per cui i tiratori dovranno trasportare le armi solo per
pochi metri. L’area è pianeggiante per cui non ci sono salite da fare per raggiungere i
poligoni. Credo sarà confortevole per tutti. I campi di tiro a volo sono anch’essi all’interno
del resort per cui non c’è necessità di muoversi anche per i piattellisti. Useremo bersagli in
carta vecchio stile, non bersagli elettronici, che saranno valutati secondo il vecchio stile
(non so cosa significhi).
Alloggi e servizio trasporti:
Abbiamo contattato tutti gli hotels nel raggio di 20 km dal poligono per offrire prezzi
speciali a tutti i partecipanti al Campionato del Mondo. In due settimane sarò in grado di
darvi i contatti telefonici per le prenotazioni. Faremo anche un accordo con una Società di
Noleggi Auto e con una di trasferimenti dall’ aeroporto per avere prezzi scontati. Abbiamo
anche molti programmi speciali per visitare l’ Ungheria.

Aspetti Legali:
L’importazione in Ungheria di armi ad avancarica non richiede autorizzazione, ma noi
aiuteremo le autorità aeroportuali con una testimonianza ufficiale che state viaggiando con
le armi per il campionato. La polvere nera e le capsule sono autorizzate in Ungheria ma
dovranno essere stoccati in una stanza dedicata presso il poligono, dove ogni nazione
partecipante avrà il suo posto riservato.
Discipline speciali:
Noi vorremmo alcune discipline speciali che sono parte del nostro programma nazionale di
gare. Alcune, come Gettysburg, sono discipline MLAIC ed alcune sono nostre discipline
nazionali come:
‐ Berdan: 50 m in piedi per retrocarica (fucile?)
‐ Trapper: 50 m in piedi con fucile con mirini metallici, palla rotonda e patch (non
ammessa giacca da tiro, stivaletti e occhiali con iride)
‐ Augustin: 50 m in piedi con moschetto liscio a percussione, bersaglio francese da 200 m
e probabilmente:
‐
Percorso di caccia: nel bosco con 10 stands di tiro su bersagli a varie distanze, che
simulano scene di caccia, con i tiratori vestiti con costumi in linea con il loro fucile.
Crediamo sarà una interessante aggiunta al programma standard MLAIC.

Benvenuto ai futuri membri MLAIC
Abbiamo un progetto per aiutare i Paesi Centro‐Europei nostri vicini ad iniziare con il nostro
bellissimo sport. Attualmente in questi Paesi non esistono competizioni con armi ad
avancarica ed in alcuni casi neanche la legislazione che lo permetta. Vorremmo organizzare
un evento speciale anche per loro. Con l’aiuto di produttori di armi, avremo disponibili per
loro in poligono 5‐10 pistole, revolvers e fucili che i tiratori saranno in condizione di usare
con il supporto di esperti avancarichisti.
Gareggeranno tra loro all’esterno della gara del mondiale. Crediamo questo possa essere
un buon inizio per la Slovenia, la Croazia, la Serbia, la Bulgaria, la Romania, l’Ukraina,
l’Estonia, la Lithuania e la Latvia. Contatteremo le associazioni di tiro di questi paesi per
offrire loro l’opportunità.
Quindi carissimi, io sono contentissimo che potrò darvi il benvenuto in Ungheria! Questo è
un passo enorme per il nostro piccolo Paese. Vi prometto che faremo del nostro meglio per
organizzare un grande campionato ed io sarò felice di accettare i vostri suggerimenti
sull’organizzazione.
