The Prize aims to promote knowledge and appreciation of Italian Pasta, the education of students in learning the nutritional value of this typical Italian food and the spread of Italian gastronomic culture worldwide. PRIZE REGULATIONS The students of the above-mentioned schools may take part in the Competition, each with a single piece of work. The participation is free of charge. Entries may consist in a piece of written work or artwork (graphic work, painting, sculpture, multimedia work etc.) concerning the theme: “Pasta as an alternative to junk food”. The most deserving work, chosen in each School, should be sent, by registered post, by the respective Headmasters by October 30th 2013 to the: MUSEO NAZIONALE DELLE PASTE ALIMENTARI Via Flaminia, 141 00196 Roma – Italy It is necessary to specify the name of the School, the surname and the name of the student and of the teacher who has followed the work. Each piece of work sent will become exclusive property of the Museo Nazionale delle Paste Alimentari and it will not be possible to ask for their return. GIOVANNI D’ ERCOLE The jury will make a final selection of the papers submitted and select the prize-winners. Ex-aequo prizes are contemplated. Prizes The following prizes are contemplated: No. 1 Prizes of Euro 500 (five hundred) and a silver Trophy to the winning student, one Prize of 500 Euro (five hundred) and a silver Trophy to the teacher who has followed the work. No. 5 Prizes consisting of a silver Trophy each to the students and to their Teachers who have followed the work. No. 6 Trophies to the Headmaster of the winner’s school. The first six or more students together with their Teachers and Headmasters will receive their prizes during a ceremony the location of which will be timely communicated. The Prize aims to promote knowledge and appreciation of Italian Pasta, the education in learning the nutritional value of this typical Italian food, which can contribute to alleviate the world hunger problem. PRIZE REGULATIONS Art. No.1– Registered professional and freelance journalists may take part in the Competition with articles, essays, photo reportages, radio and television reports published or broadcasted until October 30 th 2013. The works may be indicated by the members of the jury. Art. No.2 – The prize is organized in four sections: • Newspaper - Internet Section • Magazine Section • Radio Section • Television Section Art. No.3 – Four Prizes of Euro 1.000 (one thousand ) and one silver Trophy for each winning journalist in each of the four sections. Up to two ex- aequo winners are contemplated, according to the final decision of the jury, and in this case they will share the prize. The jury also reserves the right to transfer the prize of one of these sections to another. Art. No. 4 – For 2013 the theme is: “Pasta in the world and the world of pasta” Art. Two prizes of Euro 1.000 (one thousand) each are contemplated. The winners will receive the silver Trophy. PRIZE REGULATIONS Art. No.1- Students and graduates in the Faculty of Medicine and Food Science and Nutrition of the Universities in Italy and in the area of San Francisco (CA), United States, may take part in the Competition. The Jury may award ex-aequo prizes to two competitors who have sent equally deserving works. In this case the prize will be shared in equal parts between the two winners. Art. The Museum has also resolved to award special Museum prizes. PRIZE REGULATIONS Art. No.1– Production companies may take part in the Competition with television or radio commercials or images broadcasted or published within October 30th 2013. The members of the jury may indicate deserving works, at their own discretion. Art.
