ANNOUNCEMENTS
MISSION APPEAL – We welcome Fr. Joseph J. Arackal V.C., a Vincentian
Missionary Priest from India, to our parish this weekend to participate in our
Annual Missionary Cooperation Plan. He is preaching at all the Masses this
weekend and will make an appeal on behalf of the Vincentian Missions. The
Vincentian Missionaries, all natives of India, need our help to carry out their many
missionary, educational and charitable activities in their missions. They need our
special financial support for the training of young men studying for priesthood.
There will be special collection today to help the Missionary work of the
Vincentian Missionaries. If you did not have an opportunity to make an offering
today or would like to make an additional offering, you may make your offering
through the general parish collection next weekend in a specially marked
envelope. Please keep Father Joseph and all the Vincentian Missionaries and
seminarians in your prayers. Thank you very much for your prayers and generous
financial support.
PARISH BARBEQUE today after all Masses. Sponsored by the Knights of

FILIPINO SUPPORT GROUP meeting today at 2:00pm in the Parish
Hall. All members please be present.
MONTHLY HEALING MASS - The St. Paschal Baylon Charismatic
Prayer Group will be having a Mass with healing services on Monday July
20th at 7:00pm. Celebrant Rev. Fr. Anthony Pizarro
ST. VINCENT DE PAUL We are looking for new members to join the
Society and visit the sick and the poor. Meeting on the last Wednesday of
the month in the parish hall at 7:30pm. Next meeting is in August.

ASSUMPTION OF OUR LADY – Sunday, August 16
This year, the celebration of our Parish Feast will occur on Sunday, August
16th with solemn Mass at 4:00pm followed by procession, blessing of the
children and entertainment in the Church parking lot.
On Saturday, August 15th after the 5:00pm Mass we will have the Living Rosary,
sponsored by the Knights of Columbus.

Parents, planning to have their children baptized at St. Paschal Baylon
Church, must live within the boundaries of our Parish and be registered. If
not registered, they will be invited to do so and attend Mass for 6 months,
before meeting with one of the Parish priests.
Parents not married in the Roman Catholic Church will be allowed to
celebrate only the baptism of their first child. No other child will be baptized
unless the parents decide to validate their wedding in the Roman Catholic
Church.
At least one of the parents must be Roman Catholic and provide a baptism
certificate.

APPELLO MISSIONARIO
(Mission Appeal): 18 e 19 luglio
Oggi, P. Joseph J. Arackal V.C., un missionario dall’India visiterà la
nostra Parrocchia per sensibilizzare la comunità al servizio
missionario. La Congregazione dei Padri Vincenziani, fondata in
India nel 1904, si ispira alla congregazione missionaria di S.
Vincenzo de Paoli. I membri della Congregazione, tutti nativi
dell’India sono impegnati nel lavoro missionario in India e in vari
paesi dell’Africa. Grazie per la vostra generosità!
I CAVALIERI DI COLOMBO sponsorizzano un “Barbeque” per
oggi dopo le Messe. Tutti siete invitati.
LA S. MESSA DELLA GUARIGIONE sarà celebrata Lunedì 20
Luglio alle ore 7:00pm. Tutti siete invitati a partecipare.
SOCIETA’ DI SAN VINCENZO - Siamo anche alla ricerca di
nuovi volontari per la Società di San Vincenzo, per visitare gli
ammalati e i poveri nella nostra zona. L’incontro viene fatto ogni
ultimo Mercoledì del mese, nel salone parrocchiale alle 7:30pm.
FESTA DELL’ASSUNTA
Quest’anno la festa parrocchiale dell’Assunta ricorrerà il 16 Agosto,
con la Messa solenne alle 4:00pm, seguita dalla processione e
benedizione dei bambini in Chiesa, e poi dai giochi e dalla musica
nel parcheggio della Chiesa. Sabato 15 Agosto, dopo la Messa delle
5:00pm ci sarà il Rosario Vivente, nel parcheggio della chiesa,
organizzato dai Cavalieri di Colombo.
REQUISITI PER IL BATTESIMO
1. I genitori, che desiderano battezzare il loro bambino nella
Chiesa di S. Pasquale, devono risiedere nei confini della
Parrocchia ed essere registrati. Se non sono registrati,
devono farlo nell’ufficio parrocchiale e partecipare alla Messa
per 6 mesi.
2. I genitori, che non sono ancora sposati nella Chiesa Cattolica,
possono battezzare solo il primo figlio. Per avere il battesimo
del secondo figlio, devono prima sposarsi in Chiesa.
