Pedriali Conference Team – Giuseppe Episcopo, Chris Ferguson, Cristina Olivari, Carlo Pirozzi, Guy Puzey, Daniela Sannino, Giulia Totò [email protected] Whether it is baroque Rome, migrant modern Milan, or classical Georgian Edinburgh, City effects city defects takes its cue from Gadda’s satirical redevelopment of Milan in L’Adalgisa (1944). planning and changing the City through real or fictional development is a temptation only few manage to resist.
