Die Gemeinde Neuhaus lädt Sie herzlich ein, unsere idyllische Region zu besuchen, um
Genuss, Kunst, Kultur und Natur zu erleben. Schattige Wälder, sanfte Hügel und üppige

Wassererlebnisweg mit einem neuen Birdwatching Trail. Entlang der Drau ist es möglich,
Wasser- und Raderlebnisse der besonderen Art zu erleben.
Aber nicht nur Sport- und Naturbegeisterte, auch Kunstliebhaber kommen bei uns voll
auf ihre Rechnung, denn in Neuhaus wurde eines der größten Kunstmuseen Österreichs
errichtet. Das Museum Liaunig beherbergt neben einer umfassenden Kunstsammlung
eine riesige Goldausstellung und steht weltweit in einer Reihe mit dem British Museum
in London, dem Museum of Fine Arts in Houston und dem Gold of Africa Museum
in Kapstadt.

Dobrodošli v občini Suha – kraja kulture in ajde
Občina Suha vas prav prisrčno vabi, da si ogledate lepo idilično pokrajino, v kateri lahko uživate
umetnost, kulturo in naravo. Senčni gozdovi, nežni griči in bujni travniki bodo vam ostali v nepozabnem
spominu. Vzdovž Drave imamo posebno vrst doživetij, katere lahko doživite ob vodi ali na kolesu. Zraven
spada nova pot, na kateri lahko opazujete različne ptice. Ne samo ljubitelji športa, narave in umetnosti
pridejo pri nas na svoj račun. Na Suhi je bil zgrajen eden največjih umetnostnih muzejev Avstrije. V muzeju
Liaunig je razstavljena obširna zbirka umetnin in vsebuje tudi veliko razstavo zlata. Muzej Liaunig se

Der Verein „GENUSS REGION Jauntaler Had‘n“ hat den etwas in Vergessenheit geratenen
Had’n (Buchweizen) zu einem unverzichtbaren Bestandteil seiner Küche gemacht und so
die Gemeinde Neuhaus zur „Had’n-Gemeinde“ etabliert. Die Jauntaler Genuss-Region feiert
zwei mal pro Jahr die inzwischen landesweit berühmten Had’n-Feste und lädt Sie herzlich zur
Verkostung der gesunden Spezialitäten ein! Das hochwertige und glutenfreie Korn, das auch
als Heilpflanze gilt, spendet ein Höchstmaß an Nährstoffen und hat eine stark energetische,

Zdravo uživanje z ajdovimi žganci v občini Suha
Združenje „Genuss Region Jauntaler Had‘n“ je obudilo že skoraj pozabljene ajdove jedi in ajda je tako ponovno
postala bistvena sestavina tradicionalne kuhinje. Prav zaradi tega je občina Suha imenovana tudi občina
ajde. V Podjunski regiji dvakrat na leto praznujejo praznik ajde, ki ga poznajo po vsej Avstriji, in vas prisrčno
vabijo na degustacijo zdravih kulinaričnih dobrot. Kakovostna ajda, znana tudi kot zdravilna rastlina, je brez
glutena in ima visoko hranilno ter energetsko vrednost.
Dobro je vedeti: ajda, ki bi ji lahko rekli tudi vrelec mladosti, pomaga pri hujšanju, izboljšuje razpoloženje,

L`associazione “REGIONE DEL GUSTO Jauntaler Had‘n“ ha fatto diventare il grano saraceno “Had`n” (un tipo
di grano quasi dimenticato) una parte irrinunciabile della cucina regionale. La comune Neuhaus è chiamata
“la comune del grano saraceno Had`n”. Due volte all`anno la regione del gusto Jauntal festeggia la festa del
“Had`n”, che nel frattempo è famosa in tutta l`Austria, e Vi invita cordialmente a gustare queste specialità
sane! Questo grano di ottima qualità e senza glutine, che è anche considerato come pianta medicinale, offre
una quantità di sostanze nutritive e ha un effetto energetico, olistico ed equilibrato sull’organismo umano.
La forza del grano saraceno “Had`n” - cose importanti da sapere: Un prodotto dimagrente e una
fonte di giovinezza, risollevando lo spirito, ricco di proteine, favorisce la riduzione di stress, aiuta il sistema

The association “REGION OF PLEASURE Jauntaler Had‘n“ has turned the nearly forgotten buckwheat “Had`n”
into an essential component of the regional kitchen and therefore the municipality of Neuhaus became the
“municipality of buckwheat Had`n”. Two times a year the region of pleasure Jauntal celebrates the festival
of the buckwheat Had`n, which in the meantime is known all over Austria, and invites you cordially to taste
the healthy delicacies! The high-quality grain is also gluten-free and is considered as medical plant. It offers a
high amount of nutrients and has a strong energetic, holistic and balancing effect on the human organism.
Important things to know about the power of the buckwheat Had’n: Slimming effect and fountain of
youth, lifts the spirit, high-quality protein supplier, supports stress reduction, strengthens the immune system,

Das Museum Liaunig beherbergt eine markante
Sammlung zeitgenössischer Malerei und Grafik mit
Werken von u. a. Marc Adrian, Hans Bischoffshausen,
Arnulf Rainer und Hans Staudacher.
Ebenso repräsentativ ist die Auswahl österreichischer
Plastiker und Objektkünstler wie z.B.: Otto Eder,
Bruno Gironcoli oder Fritz Wotruba. Als Kontrapunkt
bestaunen Sie in einem 350 m2 großen Kubus
600 Schmuck- und Kultobjekte afrikanischer
Königsstämme. Weitere Ergänzung finden die
Kunstschätze durch Werke ausländischer Maler und
Plastiker.
Nur der lang gezogene Galerietrakt des insgesamt
sehr reduzierten Bauwerks ist von außen sichtbar und
bietet auf seinen beiden Terrassen herrliche Ausblicke
in die Landschaft.

Muzej Liaunig hrani in predstavlja bogato zbirko sodobnega slikarstva in grafike priznanih umetnikov,
kot so Marc Adrian, Hans Bischoffshausen, Arnulf Rainer in Hans Staudacher. V muzeju so odlično
zastopani tudi avstrijski kiparji, kot so Otto Eder, Bruno Gironcoli in Fritz Wotruba. Obiskovalce bo očarala
tudi obsežna zbirka nakita in kultnih predmetov afriških plemen, umetniška zbirka pa je izpopolnjena
z deli tujih umetnikov in kiparjev. Od zunaj je viden le daljši del muzejske stavbe, z dveh teras pa se
razprostira čudovit razgled na obdajajočo pokrajino.

scelta di plastiche e arte d`oggetti come degli artisti Otto Eder, Bruno Gironcoli o Fritz Wotruba. Come
contrappunto si può ammirare 600 oggetti preziosi e oggetti di culto di stirpi africane in un cubo di
350 m2 . Opere d`arte e plastica straniere arricchiscono i tesori d`arte.
Soltanto il lato lungo della galleria e visibile da fuori e dalle sue terrazze offre una vista stupenda
sul paesaggio.

The museum Liaunig houses a significant collection of contemporary paintings and graphic arts
including works of Marc Adrian, Hans Bischoffshausen, Arnulf Rainer and Hans Staudacher. Also
representative is the selection of Austrian plastic arts and object artists such as Otto Eder, Bruno
Gironcoli or Fritz Wotruba. As a contrast you can admire 600 precious and ritual objects of African
kings in a 350 m2 huge cube. The art treasures are completed by works of foreign artists and sculptors.
Only the long side of the gallery is visible from outside and offers stunning views over the landscape from
its two terraces.

Faszinierende Aulandschaften, Wassermühle und Birdwatching Trail
Seinen Ausgangspunkt findet der Wassererlebnisweg mit Birdwatching Trail
(Vogelbeobachtung) beim Gasthaus Sternjak in Oberpudlach. Der Rundweg führt
durch den Wald zur Drau, vorbei an den Schilfinseln und weiter zur Mündung des
Motschulabaches. Lassen Sie sich von ursprünglichen Bergbächen und wildromantischen
Aulandschaft verzaubern!
Schaumühle und Bauernmuseum
Bestaunen Sie in der Ortschaft Bach die klappernde Patek-Wassermühle (19. Jhd) und
beobachten Sie, wir früher Korn zu Mehl gemahlen wurde. Klares Bergwasser setzt das
Mühlrad aus Lärchenholz heute noch in Bewegung.
Kneipp-Oase
Lernen Sie die Heilkraft des Wassers kennen! Tipps für Stressbekämpfung und gesunde
Ernährung bekommen Sie in unserer Kneippoase mit seinen fünf Kneippstationen
(Wassertreten, Armbad, Barfuss-Gehen, Gesundes Trinken sowie Anleitungen für die
richtige Bewegung zu jeder Jahreszeit).

Pot vodnih doživetij in opazovanja ptic se začne pri gostišču Sternjak v Zgornjem Podlogu in vodi skozi
gozd do reke Drave, mimo otočkov ločja do ustja potoka Močule. Prepustite se čarobnim gorskim
potokom in romantični rečni pokrajini.
Mlin in kmečki muzej: V vasi Potoče si lahko ogledate mlin iz 19. stoletja in opazujete, kako žito zmeljejo
v moko, kot so to počeli v starih časih. Mlinsko kolo iz macesnovega lesa še danes poganjajo gorske vode.
Kneipp oaza: Spoznajte zdravilno moč vode! V Kneipp oazi boste na petih postajah (hoja v vodi, kopel
za roke, bosa hoja, zdravo pitje, napotki za pravilno gibanje v vseh letnih časih) izvedeli vse o zdravem
načinu življenja brez stresa .

Il Birdwatching Trail, che offre la possibilità di osservare uccelli selvatici, ha il suo punto di partenza alla
trattoria Sternjak a Oberpudlach. Il sentiero di forma circolare attraversa il bosco fino al fiume Drava,
passando isole di canna palustre, e arriva alla bocca del ruscello Motschulabach. Lasciatevi incantare da
ruscelli selvaggi e un paesaggio romantico vicino al fiume!
Un mulino di mostra e un museo di contadini: Al villaggio Bach si può ammirare un mulino dal
diciannovesimo secolo, osservando come si faceva la farina dal grano nei tempi antichi. Ancora oggi
l´acqua cristallina della montagna fa girare il mulino costruito di larice.
L`oasi Kneipp (stazione termale offrendo un trattamento idroterapico): Fate la conoscenza del potere

Fascinating river meadows, water mill and bird watching trail
The water experience path with bird watching trail finds its starting point at the restaurant Sternjak in
Oberpudlach. The circular path leads through the forest to the river Drava, passing reed islands, on to
the mouth of the brook Motschulabach. Let yourself enchant by original mountain brooks and wild
romantic river meadows!
Show mill and farmers museum: At the village Bach you can admire the clacking water mill from the
19th century and watch grinding grain into flour like in ancient times. Still today the clear mountain
water moves the mill wheel made of larch wood.
Kneipp Oasis: Become familiar with the healing power of water! You will receive hints for stress reduction
and healthy nutrition at our Kneipp oasis with its 5 Kneipp stations (water treading, arm bath, bare food
walk, healthy drinking as well as instruction for the right movement during every season).

Občina Suha: Raj za dejavnost v počitnicah
Radi pešačite in so vam všeč avanture? Potem ste na pravem mestu, saj okolica Suhe nudi veliko
presenečenj. V Podjuni najdete enega najlepših mostov za bungee jumping v Evropi, kjer si lahko
privoščite sto metrski skok, gora Peca omogoča mnoga zanimiva »outdoor« doživetja, v Grebinju pa
lahko obiščete najbolj barvito stalaktitno jamo v Avstriji. Aktivne obiskovalce torej čakajo nepozabni
trenutki; ne nazadnje velja omeniti tudi "pot Svetega Jakoba" na južnem Avstrijskem, ki vodi romarje od
Labota in Suhe prek Beljaka do Santiago de Compostele.
Muzejska pot s tremi destinacijami: sledi menihov, umetnikov in mecenov vas vodijo na tri različne destinacije.
Zaokrožena tridnevna pot prinaša prekrasen pogled na čudovito pokrajino južne Koroške. Pokrajina Klopinjskega
jezera v južni Koroški ponuja tako tri kulturne zaklade: kulturno mesto Pliberk z muzejem Wernerja Berga, Muzej
Liaunig na Suhi in Benediktinski samostan Svetega Pavla v Št.Pavlu.

offrono tante cose da scoprire. Il ponte più bello d`Europa per bungee jumping è nella valle Jauntal e
offre 100 metri di altezza per il bungee jump. Sulla montagna Petzen si può fare esperienze straordinarie
outdoor e a Griffen c`è una grotta fantastica di stalattiti e stalagmiti – la più variopinta di tutta l`Austria.
Momenti indimenticabili aspettano il turista attivo, non dimenticando il cammino di Santiago di
Compostela al Sud d`Austria che porta i pellegrini da Lavamünd a Neuhaus e a Villach avanti fino a
Santiago de Compostela.
Il sentiero dei musei con tre destinazioni: Su questo sentiero Vi recate sulle tracce di frati, artisti e mecenati. I tre
destinazioni sono molto diversi. Nel giro di tre giorni vedete tutte queste bellezze offrendovi anche altri “gioielli”
fantastici e viste stupende sul paesaggio bellissimo del Sud della Carinzia. La regione del lago Klopeiner See al Sud
della Carinzia offre tre patrimoni artistici di prima classe: la citta culturale Bleiburg con il museo Werner Berg,
il museo Liaunig a Neuhaus e il convento St. Paul/Lavanttal.

Südtirol am Toblacher Feld beginnt, sich durch Osttirol und Kärnten bis nach Neuhaus
schlängelt und im slowenischen Marburg endet.

Južna Koroška z 1246 km dolgo in označeno potjo je raj za vse kolesarje. Pot „Drauradweg“ (na Koroškem
„R1“) je dolga 366 km in povezuje Južno Tirolsko, Vzhodno Tirolsko, Koroško do Suhe z zaključkom v
Mariboru v Sloveniji. Doživite pokrajinske in kulturne znamenitosti ene najlepših kolesarskih poti v Evropi,

La regione al Sud della Carinzia offre 1.246 km di percorsi ciclabili ben segnalati – un paradiso per ciclisti
di ogni livello. Il percorso ciclabile Drauradweg ha una lunghezza di 366 km (in Carinzia „R1“) - da
Sudtirolo (Toblacher Feld) per il Tirolo dell’Est, per la Carinzia fino a Neuhaus e avanti fino a Maribor
(Slovenia). Fate l`esperienza di paesaggi bellissimi e cultura straordinaria sul percorso ciclabile più bello
d`Europa, che è fatto specialmente per famiglie con bambini. Naturalmente ci sono anche i percorsi più
avanzati per mountain bike, per informazioni vedere la carta accanto.
