Rules and Procedures
1. Eligible contributions are Italian or foreign (original) printed works (monographs or essays
published in journals or included in collective works) published in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010,
2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014, concerning Pier Paolo Pasolini’s poetry, essays, plays and films
2. Candidates must send 2 paper copies and 1 pdf or other electronic format to the Secretary at
Fondazione Istituto Piemontese A. Gramsci, via Vanchiglia 3, 10124 Torino (Italy), before 30th
September 2015, and marking ‘Premio Sormani’ on the envelope or package. Draft prints are
accepted.
3. If the work is written in any language other than Italian, English, German, Spanish or French,
candidates should include a translation into any one of these languages (paper copy or pdf or
CD/DVD)..
4. The winner will be awarded the sum of 2.500 Euro. The panel may, at its discretion, indicate a
second work worthy of merit. The panel reserves the right to consider other works published in
from 2007 to 2014
5. The prize will be awarded in a public ceremony organized by la Fondazione in Turin before
December 2015. The Fondazione will cover any expenses for the winner.
6. The Fondazione will have permission to keep copies of work of all participants in their library.
