L’itinerario prende avvio dalla bassa Valmasino, risalendola completamente
fino alle pendici del Monte Disgrazia, che la domina dall’alto dei suoi 3678
metri. Inserita nel cuore delle Alpi Retiche, a stretto contatto con la Val
Chiavenna, la Val di Mello e la Valmalenco, la valle ha la tipica vegetazione
del versante retico con ricco sottobosco umido di latifoglie, principalmente
Castagno e Faggio, mentre più in alto, offre uno degli ambienti glaciali più
affascinanti e selvaggi delle Alpi Centrali, con vette granitiche che hanno
segnato la storia dell’alpinismo moderno.
Trasporto in mini-bus da e per Sondrio. Il pernottamento si effettua nei Rifugi
Alpe Granda, Bosio, Ponti e Scotti.

This route in the heart of the Rhaetian Alps starts in the lower Valmasino
and climbs all the way up the valley to the slopes of Mount Disgrazia,
towering above at 3,678 m. In close proximity to the Valchiavenna, the Val di
Mello, and the Valmalenco, this valley has the typical vegetation of a
Rhaetian mountainside with rich humid broadleaf undergrowth, chestnut
trees, and beech trees. At higher altitudes it offers one of the most
fascinating and inhospitable glacier zones in the central Alps, encompassing
granitic summits where the history of modern mountain climbing was made.
Van shuttle from and back to Sondrio. Overnight stays in Alpe Granda,
Bosio, Ponti, and Scotti Refuges.

Die Strecke beginnt im unteren Valmasino und führt ganz bis zu den Gipfeln
des Monte Disgrazia (Disgraziaberg) mit seinen 3678 m hinauf. Das im
Herzen der Rätischen Alpen liegende Tal grenzt an Val Chiavenna, Val di
Mello und Valmalenco. Die Vegetation ist typisch für die rätische Seite mit
dem dichtem und feuchtem Unterholz der Laubbäume, meist Kastanie und
Buche, während weiter oben eines der faszinierendsten und unberührtesten
Gletschergebiete der Zentralalpen mit Granitgipfeln liegt, die in dem
modernen Alpinismus Geschichte geschrieben haben.
Transfer im Kleinbus von und nach Sondrio. Übernachtung in den
Berghütten Alpe Granda, Bosio, Ponti und Scotti.
