Lotus è una collezione completa di sedute composta da poltrona d’attesa, poltroncina bassa, media e alta, con e senza braccioli,
disponibili con base a quattro razze in alluminio pressofuso lucida o cromata, con puntali in plastica, o con base a cinque razze con
o senza ruote e movimento basculante ad altezza variabile. I braccioli sono disponibili anch’essi nelle finiture dalla base. La struttura
in multistrato di faggio della scocca è rivestita in poliuretano a quote differenziate ed è caratterizzata dalla copertura fissa in una
vasta gamma di tessuti e pelli di collezione co-stampati a caldo con cuscinetti di poliuretano espanso. Lotus Attesa e Lotus High
sono inoltre dotate di poggiatesta calamitato amovibile realizzato nello stesso tessuto o pelle della struttura. Lotus può inserirsi
facilmente sia nel contesto domestico che nelle più diverse situazioni di lavoro offrendo soluzioni personalizzate per qualsiasi

Lotus est une collection complète de sièges composée de fauteuil d’attente, fauteuil bas, moyen et haut, avec et sans accoudoirs,
disponibles avec base à quatre rayons en aluminium moulé sous pression polie ou chromée, avec embouts en plastique, ou avec
base à cinq rayons avec ou sans roulettes et mouvement basculant à hauteur variable. Les accoudoirs sont disponibles, eux aussi,
dans les finitions de la base. La structure en multiplis de hêtre de la coque est recouverte de polyuréthane à densités différenciées
et elle est caractérisée par le revêtement non déhoussable dans une vaste gamme de tissus et de cuirs de la collection, collés à
chaud sur les coussins en mousse polyuréthane. Lotus Attesa et Lotus High sont en outre doté d’un appuie-tête aimanté amovible
réalisé dans le même tissu ou cuir que la structure. Lotus s’intègre facilement tant dans le contexte domestique que dans les

Lotus is a complete collection of seating units consisting of waiting armchair and low, medium and high armchairs, with or without
armrests, available with four-spoke base in polished or chromed die-cast aluminium, with plastic tips, or with five-spoke base with
or without castors and variable-height tilting movement. The armrests are also available in the base finishes. The beech multiply
frame structure is covered in polyurethane of differing densities and is distinguished by fixed upholstery in a broad range of collection
fabrics and leathers hot-pressed on polyurethane foam cushions. Lotus Attesa and Lotus High also feature a magnetic removable
headrest made of the same fabric or leather as the structure. Lotus fits perfectly into both the domestic environment and various
work situations, offering personalised solutions to cater for all requirements.
Lotus ist eine komplette Sesselkollektion und beinhaltet einen Wartesessel, einen niedrigen, mittelhohen und hohen Sessel, mit und
ohne Armlehnen, erhältlich mit einer glänzenden oder verchromten vierspeichigen Basis aus druckgegossenem Aluminium mit
Plastikspitzen, oder aber mit einer fünfspeichigen Basis mit oder ohne Räder und Kippbewegung mit variabler Höhe. Auch die
Armlehnen sind in den Ausführungen der Basis erhältlich. Die Gestellstruktur aus Buchenschichtholz ist mit Polyurethan in differenzierter
Dichte überzogen und wird von einem festen Bezug in einer breiten Auswahl an zusammen mit Polyurethanschaumpölsterchen
heißgeprägten Stoffen und Ledern der Kollektion charakterisiert. Lotus Attesa und Lotus High sind außerdem mit einer abnehmbaren,
mit Hilfe eines Magnets abgebrachten Kopfstütze im gleichen Stoff oder Leder der Struktur ausgestattet. Lotus fügt sich leicht sowohl
in den Wohnkontext, als auch in verschiedene Arbeitssituationen ein und bietet spezielle Lösungen für jeden Bedarf.

features a different seat and back angle to ensure utmost comfort
both in the home and in various work situations.

La collezione Lotus è stata testata presso l’ Istituto Certificazione Qualità nell’ottobre 2006 in base alla normativa ANSI/BIFMA
X5.1-2002 Cl. 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 11.4, 13, 14, 15, 20. Tutti i test, relativi a prove di resistenza statica e dinamica, sono stati superati
senza difetti riscontrabili. Con i rivestimenti maggiormente utilizzati (Hallingdal, Trevira CS e Pelle categoria G) il prodotto risulta
conforme alla norma BS 5852 (crib 5) del Regno Unito, alle norme TB117 e TB133 dello Stato della California, oltre ad essere
omologato in classe 1 IM. La parte interna della seduta, realizzata in legno e preventivamente trattata con vernice ignifuga, ha
superato i test orientativi di conformità alla norma francese M2.

résistance statique et dynamique, ont été réussis sans défaut constaté. Avec les revêtements le plus utilisés (Hallingdal, Trevira
CS et Cuir catégorie G), le produit est conforme à la norme BS 5852 (crib 5) du Royaume-Uni, aux normes TB117 et TB133 de l’État
de Californie, et il est homologué en classe 1 IM. La partie intérieure de l’assise, réalisée en bois et préalablement traitée avec une
peinture ignifuge, a passé avec succès les tests indicatifs de conformité à la norme française M2.
The Lotus collection was tested at the Quality Certification Institute in October 2006 according to ANSI/BIFMA X5.1-2002 standards
Cl. 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 11.4, 13, 14, 15, 20. All the tests, relating to static and dynamic strength, were passed without any faults being
found. With the upholsteries more frequently used (Hallingdal, Trevira CS and Leather category G), the product is in conformity with
the UK BS 5852 standard (crib 5), and with the TB117 and TB133 standards of the State of California, as well as being class 1 IM
approved. The inner part of the seat, made of wood, is pre-treated with fireproof varnish and has passed the orientation tests of

sorta di archetipo essenziale legato al passato, anteponendo sempre la funzione all'espressione.
Né à Londres en 1959, il obtient sa maîtrise au Royal College of Art, et ouvre son premier studio de créations en 1986. C'est tout
de suite après que débute la collaboration durable et intéressante qui le lie à Cappellini; aujourd'hui il travaille à Londres et à Paris
pour des marques importantes comme Alessi, Flos, Rowenta, Sony et Samsung. Tous ses projets ont une élégance minimaliste
qui les rend extrêmement modernes tout en étant une sorte d'archétype essentiel lié au passé, qui donne toujours la primauté à
