on den sanften Hügeln der Voralpen bis zu den felsigen Massiven der Dolomiten bildet das Gebiet der
Dolomiten-Voralpen den südlichen Zugang zum Dolomiten-Weltnaturerbe der UNESCO. Um das Piavetal erheben
sich der Nationalpark „Parco Nazionale Dolomiti Bellunesi“,
die Voralpen und der Berg „Monte Grappa“, die sich gleichsam wie natürliche Balkone am Rand der venetischen
Ebene erheben. Die geographischen Besonderheiten
sowie das milde Klima der Region ermöglichen Aktivitäten
im Freien zu jeder Saison. Die zahlreichen wichtigen Veranstaltungen zeigen die Werte eines Landes von Reitern,
Geistlichen, begabten Handwerkern und Künstlern. Unsere Kunstschätze, die wunderschönen Kunststädte Mel und
Feltre, die Burgen, die Museen, die kleinen Dörfer auf dem
Land sowie die bekannten Kirchen, Klöster und Abteien
erwecken das Interesse der Besucher. Ein großer Teil der
Einwohner des Gebiets Dolomiten-Voralpen lebt wie damals in Harmonie mit der Natur und schafft mit geschickten Händen landwirtschaftliche Produkte und zahlreiche
gastronomische Spezialitäten, die aus der Verbindung der
traditionellen venetischen mit der ladinisch-dolomitischen
Küchenkultur stammen. Viele dieser Produkte gelten als regionaltypisch und werden als solche von bestimmten Konsortien anerkannt und geschützt, wie z.B. die Bohne von
Lamon (Fagiolo di Lamon IGP - geschützte geographische
Angabe), die Bohne Gialèt, der Feltriner Walnuss (Noce Feltrina), der Preußischer Apfel (Pom Prussian), der Feltriner
Marone (Morone Feltrino), der Heilige Kürbis (Zucca Santa
Bellunese), der Honig der Bellunesischen Dolomiten (Miele delle Dolomiti Bellunesi DOP – Produkt mit geschützter
Herkunftsbezeichnung), der Mais Sponcio und der Käse
Piave DOP.

rom the gentle slopes of the Prealps to the peaks of the Dolomites, the territory Dolomiti Prealpi
is the southern entrance of the Dolomites, World Heritage Site. The Belluno Dolomites National Park, the
Prealps and the Grappa’s Massif, natural balconies on
the Venetian Plain, all overlook the central Valbelluna.
Geografic features and mild climate allow outdoor activities in all seasons and the many important events are
reminiscent of the values of a land inhabited by knights,
religious, skilled craftsmen and artists. The rich cultural heritage arouses interest of visitors, from the charming historic towns of Feltre and Mel to the castles, museums, rural towns and impressive religious buildings.
Thanks to the millenary union between man and nature
and to the expert hands that work nature’s products, Dolomiti Prealpi is also a territory of unique flavors that are
born of the contact between the gastronomic tradition
of the Venetian region and the Ladin-Dolomite one. Many
products are safeguarded by a specific consortium and are
recognized as typical. Among these are included the PGI
Lamon bean, the Gialèt bean, the Feltre’s walnut, the Pom
Prussian apple, the Morone feltrino, the “Holy Pumpkin” of
Belluno, the “Sponcio” corn flour and the PDO Piave cheese.

ai dolci rilievi prealpini alle guglie dolomitiche, il territorio Dolomiti Prealpi rappresenta l’ingresso meridionale delle Dolomiti Patrimonio
dell’Umanità. Sulla centrale Valbelluna si affacciano il Parco Nazionale Dolomiti Bellunesi, le Prealpi ed il Massiccio del Grappa, balconi
naturali sulla Pianura Veneta. Caratteristiche geografiche e clima mite consentono attività all’aria aperta in ogni stagione e le numerose manifestazioni di rilievo ricordano i valori di una terra abitata da cavalieri, religiosi, abili artigiani e artisti. Il ricco patrimonio culturale
suscita l’interesse dei visitatori, dalle bellissime città storiche di Mel e Feltre, ai castelli, ai musei, ai borghi rurali e ad i prestigiosi edifici
religiosi. Grazie al millenario connubio tra uomo e natura e alle esperte mani che lavorano i prodotti della terra, Dolomiti Prealpi è anche

ie Dolomiten bei Sonnenuntergang zu erleben ist ein einzigartiges Naturschauspiel: Die
Felsen färben sich rosarot wegen ihrer Zusammensetzung aus Kalziumkarbonat und Magnesium. Die
Dolomiten, die von der UNESCO als Weltnaturerbe
anerkannt sind, sind der Schatz des Gebiets der Dolomiten-Voralpen, natürliche Bauwerke, die mit ihrer
schieren Größe und ihren wechselhaften Farben alle
Besucher faszinieren. Der Nationalpark “Parco Nazionale Dolomiti Bellunesi“ schützt wunderschöne
geologische Schätze, Pflanzen- und Tierarten. Eine
großartige Szenerie von Bergen, Felsen und Gipfeln.

uardarle al tramonto è uno spettacolo suggestivo, unico. È il momento
il cui le loro pareti rocciose, data la peculiare composizione di carbonato
di calcio e magnesio, si colorano di rosa. Le Dolomiti dichiarate dall’UNESCO
Patrimonio dell’Umanità, sono un tesoro che caratterizza il territorio Dolomiti
Prealpi, architetture naturali che affascinano per la loro imponente verticalità,
ma anche per i mutevoli colori e contrasti. Il Parco Nazionale Dolomiti Bellunesi tutela uno straordinario patrimonio geologico, floristico e faunistico. Uno
scenario di vette, di pareti, e di guglie. Non ci sarebbe bisogno di altro, il resto
potrebbe essere silenzio: “avvicinatevi, vi prego, esaminate questo spettacolo che

The Dolomites declared a UNESCO World Heritage
Site, are a treasure that characterizes the Dolomiti Prealpi territory, natural architecture that stun for
their impressive verticality, but also for the variable
colours and contrasts. The Belluno Dolomite National
Park protects an extraordinary geological, flora and
fauna heritage. A landscape featured by mountain
peaks, slopes and spires. There would be no need
of something else, the rest could be silence: “Come,

the most beautiful, powerful and astonishing gifts from

all’Uomo di Neanderthal ad oggi la presenza umana ha disegnato il territorio Dolomiti Prealpi scrivendone la storia in un grande
libro fatto di aree archeologiche, musei, castelli, eremi, santuari, chiese, città fortificate, borghi, edifici rurali e opere militari: innumerevoli segni che da soli meritano lo sforzo di un viaggio sempre sorprendente. Tra le eccellenze troviamo la città di Feltre, avvolta dal
fascino senza tempo del Castello di Alboino, cinta da antiche mura rinascimentali e costellata di edifici dalle facciate riccamente affrescate. Incantevole anche il paese di Mel dominato dal Castello di Zumelle e ricco di un centro storico che si sviluppa intorno alla bellissima
piazza Papa Luciani, sulla quale si affacciano edifici di stile veneziano e di diverse epoche, a testimonianza della passata ricchezza del
paese. Gallerie d’arte, Musei Archeologici, d’Arte Sacra, Civici, Etnografici e Storici rappresentano un’offerta varia e di qualità come le aree
archeologiche, il Santuario di SS. Vittore e Corona o il Massiccio del Grappa, teatro di famose battaglie della prima guerra mondiale ed
oggi luogo di memoria oltre che di un ambiente inestimabile di bellezze naturalistiche di primaria importanza. Di particolare interesse
anche l’architettura rurale, specchio della vita di un tempo, trascorsa in piccoli borghi che oggi ci affascinano con preziose perle quali i

A treasure trove of art, culture, history
and traditions

rom the Neanderthal man until today, the human attendance has designed the Dolomiti
Prealpi area by writing its history in a great book
made of archaeological sites, museums, castles,
hermitages (religious retreat), shrines, churches,
fortified cities, villages, farmhouses and military works. All of these are signs that singularly are
worth the effort of a journey always surprising.
Among the outstanding features we find the city of
Feltre enveloped by the timeless charm of the Castle
of Alboin, surrounded by ancient Renaissance walls
and dotted with richly frescoed building’s facades.
Enchanting is also the town of Mel dominated by
the Castle of Zumelle and characterized by a charming historic center that is built around the beautiful Papa Luciani’s square, which is overlooked by
Venetian-style buildings and of different periods,
reflecting the past wealth of the town. Art Galleries, Archaeological, Sacred Art, Civic, Ethnographic
and Historical museums represent a varied and high
quality offer as the archaeological sites, the Sanctuary of SS. Victor and Corona or the Grappa’s Massif,
scene of famous battles of World War I and today a
place of memory as well as a territory of priceless
natural beauties of primary importance.
Of particular interest is the rural architecture, mirror
of the past times spent in the small villages that nowadays fascinate us for their precious treasures as
the “Fojaroi”, the “Casere a gradoni” or the “Maiolère”.
Ein Schrein gefüllt mit Kunst, Kultur, Geschichten und Traditionen

ie Dolomiten-Voralpen erzählen die Geschichte
ihrer Einwohner seit der Steinzeit, wie ein großes
Buch, dessen Seite aus Ausgrabungsstätten, Museen,
Burgen, Eremitagen, Heiligtümern, Kirchen, Burgen,
mittelalterlichen Stadtvierteln, Wirtschaftsgebäuden
und Festungsbauten bestehen. Es sind zahlreiche
Schätze zu entdecken, die eine Reise wert sind. Einer
der schönsten Orte der Provinz ist die Stadt Feltre –
von einer Mauer aus der Epoche der Renaissance
umschlossen, durch alte Paläste mit schönen Fresken
charakterisiert, von der imposanten Burg des Albuin
(Castello di Alboino) beherrscht. Für Besucher entsteht hier der Eindruck die Zeit sei stehen geblieben.
Zauberhaft ist auch das Dorf Mel, das von der Burg
Zumelle überragt wird; seine Altstadt entwickelte

Uno scrigno di arte,
cultura, storia e tradizioni
sich um den Hauptplatz Piazza Papa Luciani herum,
auf dem sich venezianische Paläste und Gebäude
verschiedener Epochen bewundern lassen, welche
das Reichtum der kleinen Stadt in der Vergangenheit zeigen. Kunstgalerien, archäologische Museen,
Museen für kirchliche Kunst, Stadtmuseen, Volkskundemuseen und historische Museen bieten dem Besucher eine große Auswahl an Sehenswürdigkeiten.
Erwähnenswert sind auch die Ausgrabungsstätten,
die Wallfahrtskirche der Heiligen Vittore und Corona
und der Berg Monte Grappa, der im Ersten Weltkrieg
Schauplatz heftiger Kämpfe war und heute ein Gedenkort sowie ein Platz mit wunderschönen Naturschätzen ist. Sehr interessant ist die ländliche Architektur, die uns das Leben in der Vergangenheit in den
kleinen Bergdörfern zeigt; sehr charakteristisch sind
z.B. die Fojaroi, die Casere a gradoni (wortwörtlich
„Berghütte mit Stufen“) und die Majolere.

f you like active holidays and is you’re looking for
strong emotions, the Dolomiti Prealpi area offers you
many possibilities of surges of adrenalin: all you need is
a pair of skis and climb the Mt. Avena where tracks are
waiting for lovers of alpine, cross-country or telemark
skiing. Or you can put on your skates and reach the Ice
Rink of Feltre or, far away from slopes, noise and crowd,
a pair of snowshoes and dive into the silence of the woods, just listening to one owns footsteps on the white
blanket of snow. Warmed by the sun, it is a pleasure to
reach a mountain hut or refuge for a traditional lunch…..
Summer is the time of hikers, Nordic walking, MTB,
cycling and equestrian tourism. There are numerous
cliffs and boulders for climbers, rock-climbing walls to
defy the force of gravity, ravines suitable for canyoning,
areas of launch for free flight or areas for relaxing while fishing. All this makes the Dolomiti Prealpi territory
landmark in all seasons for sportsmen from around the
world.

e amate la vacanza attiva e cercate emozioni forti, Dolomiti Prealpi vi offre molte possibilità per
mettere in circolo l’adrenalina: bastano ad esempio un paio di sci e salire sul Monte Avena dove
vi aspettano piste per gli amanti dello sci alpino, da fondo, telemark e scialpinismo. Oppure indossare
i pattini e recarvi al Palaghiaccio di Feltre o, lontani dalle piste, dal rumore, dalla gente, un paio di racchette da neve ed immergervi nel silenzio dei boschi, ascoltando solo i propri passi sulla coltre bianca.
Baciati dal sole è un piacere raggiungere per il pranzo una malga o un rifugio. ..
D’estate spazio agli escursionisti, al nordic walking, alle mountain-bike, all’ippoturismo o al ciclismo
su strada. Numerose sono le falesie e i boulder per gli arrampicatori, le palestre di roccia per sfidare la
forza di gravità, le forre adatte al canyoning, le aree di lancio per il volo libero o le aree per rilassarsi a
pescare. Tutto ciò rende il territorio Dolomiti Prealpi un punto di riferimento in tutte le stagioni per gli

enn Sie einen Aktivurlaub wünschen, bieten
Ihnen die Dolomiten-Voralpen viele Möglichkeiten, Ihren Körper in Bewegung zu halten. Wenn Sie zum
Beispiel ein Paar Ski besitzen, bietet sich der Monte
Avena an, wo Sie ein gemütliches Schigebiet finden:
mit Pisten zum Schifahren, Langlaufen, Skibergsteigen
und Telemarken. Oder Sie nehmen Ihre Schlittschuhe
und ziehen einige Runden im Eisstadion von Feltre.
Wenn Sie die Ruhe vorziehen, abseits der Pisten, Lärm
und Menschenmassen, können Sie mit Schneeschuhen
in den ruhigen Wäldern wandern, wo Sie nur die eigenen Schritten auf dem Schnee vernehmen und sich
in der milden Sonne eine Berghütte zur Rast anbietet.
Der Sommer ist die perfekte Zeit für Wanderungen,
Nordic Walking, Rad- und Mountainbiketouren und
Reiten. Natürlich gibt es auch zahlreiche Felswände
zum Klettern und Bouldern sowie Klettergärten, wo
die Sportler die Schwerkraft herausfordern können.
Gebirgsschluchten zum Canyoning, Startplätze für Paragleiter und Drachenflieger oder ruhige Ufer zum Fischen fehlen auch nicht. Das macht das Gebiet der Dolomiten-Voralpen zu jeder Jahreszeit zu einem Hotspot
für Sportler aus der ganzen Welt.

In treno, con l’auto o l’aereo Dolomiti Prealpi è facilmente raggiungibile.

In auto
La Valbelluna è raggiungibile da sud percorrendo l’autostrada A27 (uscita di Cadola) e poi, raggiunta Belluno, scegliendo tra la strada statale
del Passo Rolle (n. 50) e la Strada Provinciale della
Sinistra Piave (n. 1). Da nord la città di Belluno è raggiungibile percorrendo la Strada Statale di Alemagna (n. 51).
Feltre è raggiungibile da Vicenza percorrendo l’autostrada
della Val d’Astico A31 (uscita Dueville), proseguendo poi
lungo la statale 47 (della Valsugana) quasi fino a Primolano, e quindi un tratto della statale 50 bis, poi 50. Per chi
proviene dalla Valsugana (es. uscendo dall’autostrada del
Brennero - A22 - a Trento) in direzione nord-sud, l’accesso
è lo stesso, dall’altezza di Primolano. Un accesso alternativo
da nord è rappresentato dal Passo Rolle.
In treno
Feltre e Belluno sono servite dalla linea ferroviaria PadovaMontebelluna-Feltre-Belluno-Calalzo anche con servizio di
trasporto biciclette (Padova-Feltre 83 Km in circa 1 ora e
30 minuti, Feltre-Belluno 31 Km in 30 minuti). Treni diretti
da Venezia per Belluno sono convogliati sulla linea VeneziaTreviso-Conegliano-Ponte nelle Alpi-Belluno (120 Km in
circa 2 ore).
In aereo:
L’aeroporto più vicino è quello di Treviso, in un’ora e mezza
di treno circa si arriva alla stazione di Belluno o Feltre. Altrimenti a 2 ore di viaggio in treno vi è l’aeroporto di Venezia.

The Dolomiti Prealpi area is easy to reach by train, by car or
plane.
By train:
Feltre and Belluno are served by the railway line PaduaMontebelluna-Feltre-Belluno-Calalzo also with bicycle
transport (Padua-Feltre 83 km in about 1 hour and 30
minutes, Feltre-Belluno 31 km in 30 minutes). Direct trains
from Venice to Belluno are conveyed on the Venice-Treviso-Conegliano-Ponte nelle Alpi-Belluno line (120 km in
about 2 hours).
By car:
Valbelluna can be reached from south along the A27 motorway (exit Cadola) and then, reached Belluno, choosing
the main road of Passo Rolle (no. 50) or the Provincial Road
of Sinistra Piave (no.1). From north, the city of Belluno can
be reached along the main road Alemagna (no.51). Feltre
is reachable from Vicenza along the A31 Val d’Astico highway (exit Dueville), then continue along the SS 47 (of
Valsugana) almost to Primolano and then a stretch of the
50a highway, then 50. Coming from Valsugana (eg coming
from the A22 Brennero’s highway) in the north-south direction, the access is the same, from Primolano. An alterna-

The nearest airport is that of Treviso, in an hour and a half
by train you will arrive at the train station of Belluno and
Feltre. Otherwise in a 2-hour train ride there is the airport
of Venice.

Auto:
Das Piavetal ist vom Süden über die Autobahn A 27
(Ausfahrt Cadola) erreichbar. Wenn man Belluno erreicht,
biegt man ab auf die Staatstraße Passo Rolle (N. 50) und
die Landstraße an der linken Seite des Flusses Piave (N. 1).
Vom Norden her ist die Stadt Belluno über die Staatstraße
Alemagna (N. 51) erreichbar. Feltre erreicht man von Vicenza aus über die Autobahn Val d’Astico A 31 (Ausfahrt
Dueville), dann über die Staatstraße 47 (Valsugana) bis in
die Nähe von Primolano, schließlich befährt man einen Teil
der Staatstraße 50bis und schlussendlich die Staatsstraße
50. Wenn man aus Richtung des Suganertal (Valsugana)
kommt (z.B. von der Autobahn Brenner – A22 – Trient),
fährt man ab Primolano denselben Weg. Ein alternativer
Zugang aus Norden ist die Straße über den Rollepass (Passo Rolle).
Zug:
Feltre und Belluno sind über die Bahnstrecke Padova-Montebelluna-Feltre-Belluno-Calalzo verbunden. Fahrräder
können auch transportiert werden. (Padova-Feltre, 83 km,
in ca. 1 Stunde und 30 Minuten; Feltre-Belluno, 31 km, in
30 Minuten). Die direkten Züge Venedig-Belluno werden
über die Bahnstrecke Venezia-Treviso-Conegliano- Ponte
nelle Alpi-Belluno geleitet (120 km in ca. 2 Stunden).
Flugzeug:
Der nächstgelegene Flughafen ist in Treviso, in ca. 90 Minuten mit dem Zug erreicht man von dort den Bahnhof
Belluno oder Feltre. Vom Flughafen von Venedig erreicht
man Feltre oder Belluno in 2 Stunden mit dem Zug.

itineraries with different ranges of difficulty, that
will all lead to the discovery of beautiful places,
among quiet and enchanting routes or among
peaceful secondary roads, far away from traffic.
For fans of long itineraries, here passes the Via Claudia Augusta Altinate, the ancient Roman road that
from the Adriatic plains (Altino) led to the Danube
(Donauwörth). Routes that invite you to leave your
watch at home to see new places and landscapes,
discovering colors, subtle nuances, and smells and
tastes of history.

mit dem Mountainbike fahren, werden sehr interessante Radtouren mit unterschiedlichem Schwierigkeitsgrad vorfinden, die ihnen ermöglichen,

ruhigen Wegen oder Landstraßen mit wenig Verkehr zu entdecken. Diejenigen, die lange Radtouren
lieben, dürfen nicht übersehen, dass die Via Claudia
Augusta, die antike römische Straße, die von den
Ebenen der Adria (Altino) zur Donau (Donauwörth)
führte, unsere Region durchquert. Zauberhafte
Radtouren laden uns ein, die Uhr zu Hause zu lassen
und Orte sowie Landschaften mit auf Farben, Nuancen, Düfte und Geschichten gerichteten Sinnen zu
entdecken.

dalle pianure dall’Adriatico (Altino) portava fino al Danubio (Donauwörth). Itinerari che invitano
a lasciare a casa l’orologio, per vedere luoghi e paesaggi con un occhio nuovo, attento ai colori,
alle sottili sfumature, ai profumi e al sapore della storia.

D
as Gebiet der Dolomiten-Voralpen bietet denjenigen, die Berge und Täler zu Fuß entdecken möchten,
das ganze Jahr viele Möglichkeiten. Jeden Tag können Sie
eine verschiedene Wanderung oder Tour organisieren,
um wunderschöne Orte zu entdecken. Verlassen Sie das
Chaos, die Geräusche und die Luft der Stadt, um in die
reine Natur unserer Region zu gehen und deren Wälder,
Wiesen aber auch Felder zu entdecken und ihre freundlichen Einwohner kennenzulernen. Ein Spaziergang oder
eine Wanderung in den Dolomiten-Voralpen mit erfahrenen Naturführern ist eine einzigartige Erfahrung, die
Sport und Umwelt, Wohlgefühl und Kultur verbindet. Im
Winter kann man auch unsere wunderschöne Bergwelt
genießen: Am besten man schlüpft in Winterstiefel oder
Schneeschuhe und schon kann man unvergessliche
Wanderungen auf den zahlreichen gesicherten Wanderwegen unternehmen. Schneeschuhwandern ist sehr
einfach und ermöglicht, sich im Freien Sport zu treiben.
Eine interessante Alternative, die auch viel Spaß macht,
ist das Nordic Walking, das auch mit Führern möglich ist.
Einer der schönsten Orte, um Sport zu treiben, ist der so
genannte „polmone verde“ (wortwörtlich „grüne Lunge“)
des Nationalparks Parco Nazionale Dolomiti Bellunesi, die
uns viele „farbige„ Überraschungen zu jeder Jahreszeit
bietet.

elle Dolomiti Prealpi c’è solo l’imbarazzo della scelta per chi vuole scoprire a piedi le montagne e le vallate durante tutto l’anno. Ogni giorno
potrete pianificare una nuova meta per scoprire territori straordinari e luoghi unici. Abbandonare i rumori e le polveri delle città per immergervi nella
natura, fatta di boschi, di prati e di coltivazioni, ma anche di persone con le
quali è possibile stabilire un contatto diretto. Nelle Dolomiti Prealpi concedersi qualche ora di svago lungo un sentiero, accompagnati da guide naturalistiche competenti, diventa un’esperienza unica, capace di unire sport e
ambiente, benessere e cultura. Si può praticare l’escursionismo in montagna,
scoprendo angoli incantevoli del territorio, anche in inverno. Basta calzare le
racchette da neve, o gli scarponcini, ed imboccare uno dei tanti sentieri attrezzati. Camminare con le “ciaspole” è un’attività alla portata di tutti e rappresenta un’opportunità divertente per fare movimento all’aria aperta. Un’alternativa stimolante è il nordic walking con tanto di escursioni organizzate dalle
guide. Fra i luoghi più indicati per praticare questi sport c’è il polmone verde
del Parco Nazionale Dolomiti Bellunesi, che riserva molte sorprese, multicolori in tutte le stagioni.

the mountains and valleys can take their pick throughout the year. Every day you can plan a new destination to discover extraordinary territories and unique sites,
leaving the noise and dust of the city and immersing
yourself into nature, surrounded by woods, meadows,
crops, but also people with whom you can establish a
relationship. In the Dolomiti Prealpi area you can have
unique experiences combining sport and environment,
health and culture. In fact you can enjoy a few hours of
leisure along a path, accompanied by qualified hiking
guides. You can go hiking in the mountains discovering
charming corners of the land, even in winter. Just put on
your snowshoes or boots and take one of the many marked paths. Walking with snowshoes (so called “ciaspole”)
is an activity for everyone and it’s an opportunity to make
fun outdoor exercise. A challenging alternative is Nordic
walking with lots of tours organized by guides. Among
the most suitable places where you can practice these
sports there is the green lung of the Belluno Dolomite
National Park, which offers many multicolour surprises in
all seasons.

di prodotti e sapori unici sanciti da straordinari eventi dedicati.

Dolomiten-Voralpen ist immer voll: Kulturelle Events,
wie der Handwerksmarkt von Feltre (Mostra dell’Artigianato – letzte Juniwoche) oder der Palio von Feltre
(erstes Wochenende August) und Sportveranstaltungen wie der Radmarathon „Dolomiti Race“ (dritter
Sonntag im Juni), der Straßenlauf „Giro delle Mura“
in der wunderschönen Altstadt von Feltre oder der
originelle Weihnachtsmannlauf in Pedavena (erster
Sonntag im Dezember) locken die Besucher. Nicht
fehlen dürfen auch Veranstaltungen und Events für
Familien: „Voilà“, die internationale Ausstellung der
Streetart in Pedavena (erstes Wochenende im September) oder das internationale Autobergrennen Pedavena-Croce d’Aune (letztes Wochenende im September). Beachtenswert sind auch die zahlreichen
kulinarischen Veranstaltungen, die den einzigartigen
leckeren Produkten und Spezialitäten unserer Region
gewidmet sind.

Dolomiti Prealpi territory is rich. From cultural events
such as the “Mostra dell’Artigianato artistico e tradizionale“ (artistic and traditional crafts’s fair programmed for the last weekend of June) or the “Palio” in
Feltre (first weekend of August) to sports events as
the challenging Gran Fondo cycling “Dolomiti Race”
(third Sunday of June), the footrace “Il Giro delle
Mura” in the beautiful scenery of Feltre or the picturesque Santa Klaus Race in Pedavena (first Sunday of
December). Many are the appointments for families
as Voilà, the international exhibition of street art in
Pedavena (first weekend of September) or the international uphill time trial rally Pedavena-Croce d’Aune

are protected by relevant consortiums and are recognized as typical. Among these are included Feltre’s Walnut,
the Prussian apple, the chestnut and Morone of Feltre,
the PGI Lamon bean and Gialèt bean (Slow Food Presidia), the “Holy Pumpkin” of Belluno, the PDO honey of
the Dolomites, the “sponcio” corn flour and the PDO Piave cheese. All this guarantees to nowadays consumers
sensations of other times in restaurants that suit all type
of needs. Simple and essential locals, refined and elegant atmospheres or typical mountain places: whatever
the ambience that welcomes you, you will always find
friendly service and advice that will help you in the choice of dishes. In fact there are many possibilities to taste
local cuisine with a lot of delicious proposals, through
the peculiarity of its lands, which, over the centuries,
have given rise to crops and original cultivations and
today also numerous local events focused on food-andwine connoisseurship.
Beim Essen und Trinken

n den Dolomiten Voralpen spielen Gastronomie und
Weinbau eine sehr wichtige Rolle. Jeder Ort hat traditionelle Rezepte, die von Generation zu Generation
überliefert werden. Viele unserer Produkte und Spezialitäten sind als regionaltypische Spezialitäten anerkannt und von bestimmten Konsortien geschützt, wie
z.B. die Bohne von Lamon (Fagiolo di Lamon IGP - geschützte geographische Angabe), die Bohne Gialèt, der
Feltriner Walnuss (Noce Feltrina), der Preußischer Apfel
(Pom Prussian), der Feltriner Marone (Morone Feltrino),
der Heilige Kürbis (Zucca Santa Bellunese), der Honig
der Bellunesischen Dolomiten (Miele delle Dolomiti
Bellunesi DOP – Produkt mit geschützter Herkunftsbezeichnung), der Mais Sponcio und der Käse Piave DOP.
So können die heutigen Tischgäste historische Genüsse
entdecken! Sie werden alles finden von sehr feinen und
eleganten Restaurants über einfache Lokale bis hin zu
rustikalen Gasthöfen, die typisch für unsere Bergregion
sind; überall sind die Kellner und Wirte sehr nett und
sie werden Ihnen bei der Auswahl der Speisen gerne
behilflich sein. Es gibt nämlich viele Möglichkeiten, sich
an die Spezialitäten unserer regionaltypischen Küche
heranzuwagen, je nach Besonderheit des jeweiligen
Gebiets. Im Laufe der Jahrhunderte haben sich originelle Anbaumethoden und Produktionen etabliert,
sowie auch viele Events, die der lokalen Gastronomie
gewidmet sind.
