What is EasyOrtho
Il posizionatore EasyOrtho che ti ha dato il tuo dentista è fatto di una materiale soffice,
trasparente e flessibile ma sufficientemente resistente da poterci masticare sopra. L'EasyOrtho
è fatto sulla base della forma della bocca e dei denti, ed una volta posizionato in bocca deve
aderire. Mentre è in bocca l'EasyOrtho aiuta a chiudere quei piccoli spazi che ancora ci sono
tra i denti o a ruotarne alcuni per portarli definitivamente nella loro posizione naturale.
Per questo è assolutamente importante portare l'EasyOrtho esattamente per la durata e nelle
condizioni che il tuo ortodontista ti ha indicato.
This is the final stage of your orthodontic treatment, where adjustments are made to complete
that perfect smile. The appliance is made of soft, clear, flexible material that is strong enough
to bite down on. The EasyOrtho is made from an exact impression of your teeth. It is placed in
your mouth and should be a perfect fit. While in the mouth, the EasyOrtho helps to close small
spaces or rotate teeth. It is important to wear the appliances for the exact length instructed by
your Orthodontist.
Come posizionare EasyOrtho
Guardandoti allo specchio, posiziona prima la parte dell'arcata superiore. Se è necessario
allargarlo un poco, mantieni l'EasyOrtho nel suo posto con le dita e chiudi la bocca in modo
che la parte inferiore della bocca si chiuda esattamente nella parte inferiore dell'EasyOrtho.
Se non si posiziona perfettamente perché è necessario un maggiore allargamento, immergi il
posizionatore per 30 secondi in un bicchiere di acqua calda. Attenzione: utilizza solo acqua
calda del rubinetto e non mettere l'EasyOrtho in un bollitore o in un forno a microonde perché
lo rovineresti.
Cosa fare mentre si porta l'EasyOrtho
Una volta appreso come posizionarlo in bocca, devi imparare come utilizzarlo per massimizzare
la sua efficacia e ridurre il tempo di utilizzo.
Segui questi semplici consigli:
1. Mordi con forza nell'EasyOrtho e mantieni il morso fino a quando puoi, tenendo le labbra
chiuse.
How to place EasyOrtho
While looking in a mirror, place the appliance first in the upper arch. If stretching is needed,
hold the appliance in place with your fingers and close your mouth allowing the lower arch to fit
in the lower part ofthe EasyOrtho. If more stretching is needed, place the appliance in hot tap
water for about 30 seconds and try again. (Caution: do not use boiling water or put in a
microwave oven, it will ruin the appliance).
What to do while wearing EasyOrtho
Once you've learned how to fit the appliance, you must start learning how to exercise during
wearing time. Follow these steps:
1.Bite with some force into the EasyOrtho and hold for as long as possible, keeping your lips
closed.
2.When you get tired, relax, but keep your mouth closed. In the beginning you may be able to
close for 30 or 40 seconds, maybe even less, but don't worry, it will become easier.
2. Quando ti sei stancato/a, rilascia il morso ma mantieni chiusa la bocca. All'inizio sarai in
grado di tenerla chiusa per 30 o 40 secondi o anche meno, non ti preoccupare con il tempo
ti verrà molto facile.
3.The correct action must be closing and holding, then relax. This movement has to be repeated
over and over.
With each exercise try to hold the jaws together under pressure for a longer perio of time.
Again ,the actions are close, hold, then relax and repeat.
3. L'azione corretta è chiudere con una certa forza e mantenere il morso, poi rilasciare.
Questo movimento deve essere ripetuto molte, molte volte nel corso della giornata. Con ciascun
esercizio cerca di tenere chiusele mandibole insieme sotto pressione per un lungo periodo di
tempo. L'esercizio è sempre lo stesso: chiudere, mantenere chiuso e quindi rilasciare poi ripetere
l'esercizio.
4.Repeat this exercise according to your Orthodontist instructions. Performing the exercises
when the appliance is first placed in the mouth is more beneficial than just prior to removing it.
If any changes result from the exercises, the EasyOrtho will hold these new positions steady so
they will become more permanent.

4. Ripeti questo esercizio sulla base delle istruzioni che ti ha dato l'ortodontista.
Fare questi esercizi non appena si mette l'EasyOrtho è molto più efficace che farli prima di
rimuoverlo. Tutti i piccoli movimenti di aggiustamento della posizione dei denti che avverranno
con questi esercizi,saranno mantenuti dall'EasyOrtho nella corretta posizione rendendoli così
più permanenti nel tempo.
Pulire l'EasyOrtho
Per la pulizia quotidiana usa gli specifici prodotti eventualmente indicati dal tuo ortodontista,
oppure utilizza acqua calda e dentifricio. Attenzione non mettere l'EasyOrtho nel microonde
e non bollirlo.
Problemi con l'EasyOrtho
Per qualsiasi problema con il tuo EasyOrtho: fastidio, difficoltà a posizionarlo, difficoltà
a tenerlo in bocca chiama il tuo ortodontista immediatamente.
Use special Orthodontic Appliance Agent (ask your Orthodontist) or use warm water and
toothpaste. (Caution: do not use boiling water or put in a microwave oven).
Having trouble
If you have a discomfort, difficulties placing the appliance or wearing the appliance,
call your Orthodontist immediately.
