The main purpose of the “Sportello Unico” is to answer to the requirements of the cluster enterprises every time. This project allows to manage all the relationships between enterprises and public authorities on line with the practical use of e-signature and secure e-mail. All this means a support to the enterprises for fasting bureaucracy. Science Park Trieste - Scientific Park Innovation Network is an AREA project supported by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region that has established within the region a sound structure of services to businesses, dedicated to transferring to them the expertise and technology found in the world of research and to stimulating the setting up of innovation projects. The network structure is built around Competence Centres active in areas of common interest, such as the environment, energy and productivity efficiency, or specializing in the typical productive sectors of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, such as wood and furnishings, agro-industry and ship-building and pleasure boating. The Agro-industry Competence Centre has been created in connection with the Cluster development Agency. SALT Project – financed by Udine Provincial administration This project had the purpose of developing an industrial plant for the re-use of the solid and liquid salty waste made in ham seasoning plants. The main objective was to prevent their leakage into the public sewer and to avoid sewer non-compliance with limits imposed by law. Moreover this project tried to find out a possibility for the re-use of this materials in processes different from food. The results showed the possibility of using them as de-icer for streets. Voluntary Association “Carni Bovine di Qualità del Parco Agro-alimentare di San Daniele” The purpose of this association is to realize an integrated system for the production and the distribution of beef meat from the San Daniele cluster to fulfil the proposal of typical quality products. The core of this project is to realize a short beef production chain trough the establishment of a regulation to be shared among all the stakeholders. The objective is to improve the beef meat quality by the compliance to a specific regulation such as a voluntary agreement among all the actors involved from the farmers to the sellers. Main objectives: • To strengthen and diversify entrepreneurial activity in the primary sector and its chain of transformation and commercialisation. • To safeguard and promote existing natural and cultural heritage, also with measures of rehabilitation and social management. • To establish a transnational network in order to guarantee to partners and relevant final beneficiaries a permanent access to the innovation of their governance techniques. • To promote productive cooperation between Italy and Croatia. The first principal partner were Confindustria and Unioncamere. Nowadays it is made up by 50 industrial districts for totally 72.000 enterprises, 420.000 employers that have a turnover of 45 milliards and an export of 17 milliards. • This association joins all the stakeholders that compose the cluster environment. • The main role of “Distretti Italiani” is allowing a dialogue among all the productive chains recognised as districts in force of regional laws and making shared projects possibles. Fiera La Campionaria delle qualità – Rho Milano 22-25 November 2007 • The Agro-food Park and the other main Italian agro-food clusetrs were invited to “La Campionaria delle Qualità Italiane”; 24.000 visitors organised by Fiera Milano Expocts and supported by Fondazione Symbola Future Activities Projects 2008 -2009 Stazione Sperimentale per l'Industria Conserve Alimentari – SSICA di PARMA delle • Stating of a collaboration with SSICA: this organisation is a public institution for applied research, established in Parma in 1922 operating on a national scale under the supervision of the Ministry of Economic Development, with the specific aim of promoting technical and technological progress in the Italian fruit, vegetable, meat and fish processing industry. Today SSICA is one of the most important institutions of applied research in the food preservation sector existing in Europe and in the world. • This collaboration aims to create a point of contact about food technologies in Friuli Venezia Giulia Region in order to increase the competition of North-East enterprises. Valorisation of ham wastes • The main aim of this project is to develop an industrial process for transforming and improving the value of food waste produced by the San Daniele’s ham seasoning and cutting. Moreover this action want to streamline the collection service of this waste under the control of ASDI and of the Consortium. • The process outlined leads to the production of oil and farine that can be used for pet-food and it can be easily industrialised. Salt project – 2nd stage • This second stage of the project had the purpose of increasing the diffusion of the industrial plant for the re-use of the solid and liquid salty waste in a greater number of ham seasoning plants. • This industrial plant is composed by an aspirator/extractor linked trough pipes to a storage bin placed outside the seasoning plant. The separation between solid and liquid waste is assured by a cyclone. Realisation of “Albergo Diffuso” This project would like to propose a different approach to hosting activities inside the Park trough the realisation of a structure called “Albergo Diffuso”. The purpose of ASDI is to help realising a management society among the house owners. This new form of hospitality goes in the direction of sustainable development Territorial Marketing There are many objectives in the promotion and territorial marketing project linked to the development of the food industry as well as of the hosting activities. The ASDI marketing strategy would like to improve the knowledge of the institution and of the territory, the enterprises and all the other components of the tourist offer. At the same time this activities are made to show the opportunities that the regional law for Cluster Development Agency gives to public and private organisation.
