CURRICULUM VITAE Grazia Zuffa Psychologist and psychotherapist, works in the field of drug use and drug addiction. Her recent research activity has focused on drug use in natural settings. She was former professor of Drug Addiction Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Florence. From 1987 to 1994, she was member of the Italian Parliament (Senate of the Republic), where her work focused on gender issues, reproductive technologies, prisoners’ human rights and other social problems. From 1998 to 2010, she was the chief editor of Fuoriluogo, a monthly magazine on drugs and social marginality, published as supplement to a leading national daily paper (Il Manifesto). She was also member of the National Advisory Council on Drug Addiction (1998-2001), of the National Scientific Committee on Drug Addiction (2006-2008), of the Regional Committee of Bioethics of Tuscany (1996-2000). Since 2006, she has been member of the National Committee of Bioethics. Among her books: L’eclisse della madre (1998, Pratiche Editrice) coauthored with Maria Luisa Boccia, I drogati e gli altri (2000, Sellerio), Droghe e riduzione del danno, un approccio di psicologia di comunità (2002, Unicopli) co-authored with Patrizia Meringolo. She has edited Cocaina, il consumo controllato (2010, Edizioni Gruppo Abele).
