RCS MediaGroup: New nominations in RCS Quotidiani

Milan, 11 September 2006 - RCS MediaGroup announces that the Board of Directors of RCS
Quotidiani, that met today under the chairmanship of Piergaetano Marchetti, has duly noted that
both Vittorio Colao, Chief Executive Officer and Aldo Bisio, General Manager of the Italian
Newspapers Division and a company Director, have resigned from their positions in the company.
The Chairman and the entire Board of Directors thanked Vittorio Colao and Aldo Bisio and
expressed their deep appreciation for the work done.
The Board of Directors, therefore, proceeded to co-opt Antonello Perricone and Giorgio Valerio,
directors of the company and appoint them respectively Chief Executive Officer of the Company
and General Manager of the Newspapers Division of same.
