The World Wide Web (WWW or Web for
short) is the part of the Internet that
you can access
using a software
called web browser,
such as Internet
Explorer or Firefox.
A web browser is a software application
which allows a user to access
text, pictures
and other types
of data situated
on a web page
in a web site
on the World
Wide Web.
The INTERNET is the international
system of computers that
makes it possible for you
to see information
from all around
the world
on your computer
and
to send information
to other computers.
The Internet
is a vast
source of
information…
…but it can cause
problems:
it can invade
people’s
privacy
with unwanted
advertising…
…and make it easier
for criminals
to organise
their activities.
ICT MORAL AND SOCIAL ISSUES
People are anxious about
some effects
of the
development
of information
technology.
A major concern is
Internet fraud.
