“RIGOLETTO A MANTOVA”. Un film in diretta ideato e prodotto da Andrea Andermann che, con
la RAI, ha portato in mondovisione le suggestioni e le atmosfere dell’opera di Giuseppe Verdi in
diretta dai luoghi e nelle ore del libretto, rispettando cioè il ritmo della storia così come è stata
pensata dagli autori. Un film di Marco Bellocchio con Placido Domingo per la prima volta nel ruolo
di Rigoletto. La fotografia è del Premio Oscar Vittorio Storaro. L’Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale
della RAI è diretta dal Maestro Zubin Mehta
“RIGOLETTO IN MANTUA”. A film broadcast live and worldwide, conceived and produced by
Andrea Andermann who, together with the RAI, transmitted the atmosphere, the evocative power
and awesomeness of Giuseppe Verdi’s opera from the exact places and hours of the libretto,
respecting the rhythm of the story as well as authentic work of the authors. A film by Marco
Bellocchio with Placido Domingo who for the first time took the part of Rigoletto. Cinematography
by the Oscar Award Vittorio Storaro. With the participation of RAI’s National Symphony Orchestra
conducted by Maestro Zubin Mehta
