erwartet wird: die Eiskrippe im Landhaushof. Das Zusammenspiel aus Eiskunst, Licht und dem Flair des Landhaushofs schafft eine einzigartige Stimmung, die alle Besucher verzaubert.

Un classico dell‘Avvento a Graz che, ogni anno, è atteso con grande impazienza
è il presepe di ghiaccio nel cortile del Landhaus. Il gioco affascinante tra ghiaccio,
luci e l’atmosfera del cortile del Landhaus crea un‘ambiente unico che sa incantare
ogni visitatore.

Experience the beautiful facade of the Graz Rathaus (cityhall) transformed into
a huge, illuminated Advent calendar at dusk. From November 22nd, Advent motifs projected onto the façade prepare the way for Christmas.
Appena dopo il tramonto la grande facciata del Municipio (Rathaus) risplenderà
trasformandosi in un gigantesco calendario dell’Avvento. Le proiezioni natalizie
sulla facciata del Municipio si possono già ammirare dal 22 novembre 2013!

Wenn es in der Vorweihnachtszeit kalt wird in Graz, dann rücken wir alle näher zusammen. So entsteht direkt vor dem Rathaus ein eigenes kleines Dorf, in dem wir
uns warm und geborgen fühlen. Traditionelles Kunsthandwerk und allerlei Genüsse
für Leib und Seele erfreuen die Herzen der Besucher. Der Engelsspiel-Pavillon bietet
Raum für Veranstaltungen und Auftritte, die Feuerzangenbowle wärmt die Sinne und
das Kinderkarussell ist ein Riesenspaß für die Kleinen. Jeden Sonntag Kindertag!
As the chill of winter sets in, we huddle together for warmth. In front of the Rathaus
(city hall) stands a cosy and welcoming village of stalls offering traditional handicrafts and wonderful treats for the body and soul. There is a marquee for events, a
“Feuerzangenbowle” fire tongs punch bowl to warm the cockles of your heart, and a
much-loved children’s carousel. Every Sunday: Children’s Day!
Quando, nel periodo prenatalizio, il freddo domina le strade della città, ci piace stare più
vicini. Così, davanti al Municipio (Rathaus), si crea un vero e proprio piccolo paesino in
cui ci sentiamo al caldo e protetti. Artigianato tradizionale e prelibatezze di ogni genere
per il corpo e per la mente rallegrano i cuori dei visitatori. Il padiglione al centro offre
spazio a manifestazioni e spettacoli di ogni genere, il tipico vin brulé al rum chiamato
“Feuerzangenbowle” riscalda i sensi e la giostra dei bambini offre grande divertimento
per più piccoli. Ogni domenica: giornata speciale per bambini!

Ganz im Dienst der Wohltätigkeit steht der Advent-Genuss am Eisernen Tor.
Hier trifft man sich beim vorweihnachtlichen Bummel, um Glühwein, Glühmost,
Beerenpunsch oder alkoholfrei Wärmendes mit gutem Gewissen – begleitet von
schmackhaften Happen aus den Genuss Regionen der Steiermark – zu genießen.
Dieser Treffpunkt wird von karitativen Institutionen betrieben, der Reinerlös kommt
verschiedensten Hilfsprojekten zugute.
All together for a good cause – the Advent stalls at Eisernes Tor. Christmas shoppers
meet up here to enjoy mulled wine, mulled cider, hot fruit punch or an alcohol-free
hot drink accompanied by a delicious snack. These stalls are run by charitable organisations, so all profits go towards a range of aid projects.
È all‘insegna della beneficenza l‘Avvento culinario alla Eisernen Tor. Qui, ci si incontra
durante i giretti prenatalizi per godersi una tazza di vin brulé, sidro brulé, punch ai frutti
di bosco e altre bevande calde analcoliche, accompagnati da uno spuntino appetitoso
con prodotti provenienti dai percorsi gastronomici della Stiria, e il tutto per una buona
causa. Questo punto d‘incontro è gestito dalle istituzioni di beneficenza affinché il ricavato netto sia devoluto in favore di progetti umanitari.

Mitglieder der „Steirischen Initiative Kunsthandwerk“ bieten Erstklassiges aus Ton,
Holz, Glas, Metall, Textilem, Leder, Wachs, ... – Originalität und Zeitgeist basierend
auf solider Handwerkskunst. Einzigartig in Graz ist auch die Vielfalt der individuell
gestalteten Hütten und Stände, in denen die KünstlerInnen selbst ihre Produkte anbieten. Musikalische Vielfalt zeigen an allen vier Wochenenden Live-Bands.
Thirty years of handicraft on Färberplatz – quality is a tradition here. Members of
“Steirische Initiative Kunsthandwerk” offer first class creations made of clay, wood,
glass, metal, textiles, leather, wax, ... – originality and zeitgeist founded on solid
craftsmanship. Also unique in Graz is the variety of huts and stalls where artists offer
their own products. Live musical variety is presented on all four weekends.

At the much loved arts and crafts market on Mehlplatz, once again the Advent huts
are certainly a highlight with their distinctive design. During the day, they open up
to reveal what is inside them; at night, they shine like gleaming crystals. Alongside
exquisite arts and crafts, delightful treats are for sale here.
Un punto di forza dell’apprezzato mercatino dell’artigianato artistico a Mehlplatz è

For more than 20 years now, bohemians, globetrotters and craftspeople from different nations have been meeting up here to offer their colourful range of hand-made
glassware, painting and Christmas ornaments. Silver and wood-crafted art works as
well as pottery and items from countries afar such as frankincense, myrrh and incense sticks for moments of contemplation all await you. Add to this woollen textiles
from Peru for long cold winter days and the odd curiosity that enchants or amazes.
The colourful variety of objects in this Advent market is augmented at the weekends
by attractive artistic gigs.
Da più di vent’anni qui si incontrano maestri dell’arte di vivere, giramondi e artigiani
provenienti da diversi Paesi per mettere in vendita i loro oggetti artigianali dai colori
vivaci quali arte del vetro, pittura e addobbi natalizi. Vi aspettano lavori in argento,
creta e legno nonché prodotti di Paesi lontani come incenso, mirra e bastoncini d’incenso
per creare momenti di riflessione, prodotti tessili in lana del Perù per le lunghe e fredde
giornate invernali, e diverse curiosità che incantano e stupiscono. Nei fine settimana la

Der Altgrazer Christkindlmarkt ist der älteste der Stadt. Er widmet sich ländlichen
Traditionen. So stehen Kunsthandwerk, Thüringer Christbaumschmuck, Blechspielzeug sowie Produkte aus den steirischen Genuss Regionen im Mittelpunkt. Punsch,
Glühwein und Glühmost wärmen die Besucher.
This is the oldest Christmas market in the city. Styrian handicraft, farm-produced
specialities, punch and mulled wine provide heart-warming cheer.
Questo mercatino di Graz è il più antico della città ed è dedicato alle tradizioni rurali.
In primo piano ci sono, infatti, l‘artigianato artistico e i prodotti provenienti dai percorsi
gastronomici della regione. Il punch, il vin brulé e il sidro brulé riscaldano gli animi dei
visitatori.

Beim Kinder-Adventmarkt in der Kleinen Neutorgasse vor der Franziskanerkirche leuchten Kinderaugen beim Anblick von Karussell, Nostalgie-Riesenrad
und Süßwaren, die das Warten aufs Christkind versüßen. Jeden Mittwoch:
„1-Euro-Tag“ im Kinderparadies: Ermäßigte Preise im Kinderparadies mit dem
Riesenschneemann vor der Franziskanerkirche beim Nostalgie-Riesenrad,
Kinderkarussell, Märchenzug, Entenspiel und Zuckerwatte-Stand. Bei den Verkaufsständen gibt es Kinderpunsch sowie Schaumbecher um € 1,00.
At the children’s Advent market in Kleine Neutorgasse, right in front of the
Franciscan church, children’s eyes light up at the sight of a carousel, a nostalgic big wheel and sweets, which help make time fly for those eagerly awaiting
Christmas. Every Wednesday it’s “1 euro day” in the children’s paradise at the
entrance to the church, with nostalgic big wheel, children’s carousel, fairy tale
train, duck game and a stand offering candyfloss. The stands offer children’s
punch as well as the traditional dessert made with beaten egg whites and

Die Geschäfte der Grazer Stempfergasse beweisen ihren Sinn für Weihnachten und
stellen – in Kooperation mit dem Diözesanmuseum Graz – in ihren Auslagen unterschiedlichste Weihnachtskrippen aus. Der Krippenweg führt von der Eiskrippe im
Landhaushof in die weihnachtlich beleuchtete Stempfergasse. Christbäume und ein
roter Teppich säumen den Weg und laden zum Weihnachtseinkauf in die Geschäfte
ein.
The shops in Graz’s Stempfergasse demonstrate their Christmas spirit, displaying
a wide range of Christmas cribs in their windows in collaboration with the Graz Diocese Museum. The nativity trail leads from the ice nativity scene in the Landhaus
courtyard to Stempfergasse, beautifully illuminated with Christmas lights. Christmas
trees and a red carpet line the way into the shops for a spot of Christmas shopping.

mostra nelle loro vetrine diversi presepi in collaborazione con il Museo diocesano di Graz.

alle Interessierten mit alpenländischem und internationalem Noten- und Textmaterial aus der umfassenden Bibliothek mit Liedersuchdienst zu versorgen.
A natural part of the Christmas season: singing carols together and reading stories
and poetry about Advent. Since 1991, the Steirisches Volksliedwerk has been running
the “Office for Christmas Carols”, providing Alpine and international sheet music
and texts from its extensive library, along with a ‘song search’ service.
Naturalmente, Natale significa anche cantare tutti insieme melodie e leggere storie e
poesie sul periodo dell‘Avvento. Dal 1991, lo Steirisches Volksliedwerk apre, nel periodo
prenatalizio, l‘”Archivio delle canzoni natalizie” per offrire a tutti gli interessati testi e
partiture di origine alpina e internazionale provenienti dalla vasta biblioteca attraverso
un servizio di ricerca delle melodie.

The small and friendly fun train takes its warm, comfortable passengers on a ride
through the Graz Old Town. It runs between the Advent markets and is a real blessing when you are worn out from shopping and visiting the Christmas sights.

Auch heuer gibt es wieder das dreitägige Silvesterdorf am Grazer Hauptplatz.
Ein umfangreiches kulinarisches Angebot wartet nach den Weihnachtsfeiertagen auf Sie! Beerenfeuer, Raclette, Ofenkartoffel und zahlreiche Heißgetränke
laden zum Verweilen ein. Das Silvesterdorf ist am 29., 30. und 31. Dezember
2013 ab 16.00 Uhr geöffnet. Am 29. und 30. Dezember gibt es ab 18.00 Uhr
Live-Bands und DJs auf der Silvesterbühne. Am Silvestertag steigt ab 16.00 Uhr
die Megaparty: Die Party beginnt mit dem Kindersilvesterfest ab 16.00 Uhr.
Der Zauberer Pappendeckel und seine Freunde werden die Kids begeistern.
Als Höhepunkt gibt es um 18.00 Uhr eine Feuershow! Das Silvesterprogramm
beginnt um 19.00 Uhr mit DJs und den tollsten Hits aus den 70er und 80er Jahren. Ab 22.00 Uhr erfolgt dann der Countdown mit Live Band, Tanz und sicher
einer Megastimmung!
This year, we will again have the three-day New Year’s Eve village on Graz
Hauptplatz. A comprehensive range of culinary delights will be waiting for you
following Christmas! Hot berry punch, raclette, jacket potatoes and numerous
hot drinks tempt you to linger. The New Year’s Eve village is open on 29th, 30th
and 31st of December 2013 from 4 pm. On December 29th and 30th from 6 pm
there will be live bands and DJs on the Sylvester stage. At 4 pm on New Year’s
Eve we kick off with a mega party: the party starts with the kid’s New Year’s
event from 4 pm. Magician Mr. Pappendeckel and his friends will entertain the
kids. At 6 pm the highlight will be a fiery show! The programme for New Year’s
Eve will start at 7 pm with DJs and the greatest hits from the 1970s and 1980s.
From 10 pm we will be counting down till midnight with live bands, dancing and
an amazing atmosphere for sure!

stunning, glittering fireworks – traditional on New Year’s Eve. 2013 is over –
start the new year with a bang.
A mezzanotte in punto, il cielo sul centro città risplende di scintille fulminanti e
splendore luccicante con il tradizionale spettacolo pirotecnico. Il 2013 si conclude,
godetevi un‘inizio frizzante nel nuovo anno.

Anche quest’anno ritorna il villaggio di Capodanno della durata di tre giorni nella
piazza principale Hauptplatz di Graz. Dopo le feste natalizie vi aspetta un’ampia
offerta di prodotti culinari. La bevanda calda “Beerenfeuer”, raclette, patate al
forno e numerose altre bevande calde invitano a trattenersi. Il villaggio di Capodanno è aperto il 29, 30 e 31 dicembre 2013 dalle ore 16.00. Il 29 e 30 dicembre,
dalle 18.00, si esibiscono dal vivo gruppi e DJ sul palcoscenico di Capodanno. Il 31
dicembre il mega party di Capodanno parte dalle ore 16.00: il party inizia con la
festa di Capodanno per i bambini dalle 16.00. Il mago Pappendeckel e i suoi amici
entusiasmeranno i più piccoli. Lo spettacolo pirotecnico alle 18.00 sarà il culmine
della festa! Il programma di Capodanno comincia alle ore 19.00 con DJ che eseguono le migliori canzoni di successo degli anni Settanta e Ottanta. Poi dalle 22.00
parte il conto alla rovescia in compagnia di un gruppo che suona dal vivo e con
balli in un’atmosfera di grande allegria.
