Power transformers HV/LV HV/MV
Dry type cast resin rating up to 10 MVA and nominal voltage up to 36Kv
Oil immersed
rating up to 25 MVA and nominal voltage up to 72 Kv
Power transformers can be equipped with on load tap changer.
The production range includes, besides the standard types, autotransformers and
transformers to be used for starting , insulation , earthing , induction furnace, rectifiers .
MANUFACTURING STANDARD
The transformers produced by Elettromeccanica Colombo are manufactured in
compliance with the following standards and relevant updating documents:

Upon request it is possible to produce transformers in compliance with any other
Standard, like BSS, VDE, AFNOR ...
QUALITY ASSURANCE SYSTEM
All transformers are submitted to accurate controls during the production and to
final test in our test room , where we carry out the routine test and type tests.
Special test -on request-are made normally at CESI Institute in Milano or in
others University Electrical Departments.
Our firm has made several complete tests at CESI Institute with positive results ;
that proves the reliability of our transformers.
Particular care is given to quality problems starting from the design-planning
moment .The components used are accurately checked in the purchasing ,
stocking , construction and assembling phases .
The company is applying a Quality Assurance System according to ISO 9001
Standard, certified from NQA LTD - England - NR 14794
