L’azione evangelizzatrice del parroco
Abstract
Annunciare il Vangelo è compito e responsabilità di ogni credente in Cristo (cf.
can. 211) in quanto membro della Chiesa in virtù del battesimo (cf. can. 96).
L’esercizio di tale comune responsabilità non è, però, uguale per tutti i battezzati. Nel CIC, ai cann. 756-759, sono indicati i diversi gradi di responsabilità nell’annuncio del Vangelo. In modo particolare, l’annuncio del Vangelo viene affidato ai parroci (cf. can. 528, § 1). Dell’azione evangelizzatrice del parroco, secondo la normativa stabilita dal CIC, si occupa questo modesto contributo di
studio. In esso viene considerata, anzitutto e brevemente, l’identità del parroco;
poi la sua azione evangelizzatrice e le varie tipologie di annuncio del Vangelo; i
collaboratori e i destinatari della sua azione evangelizzatrice; infine, quasi come
conclusione e necessaria conseguenza, l’urgenza e la necessità di formare i ministri della Chiesa all’annuncio del Vangelo. In quest’azione necessaria ed urgente di evangelizzazione, i sacerdoti e i parroci sono particolarmente coinvolti
per il fatto di essere i primi responsabili di questa nuova evangelizzazione del
terzo millennio, in quanto svolgono un ruolo evangelizzatore assolutamente insostituibile.
Parish Priest Evangelizing Action
Every believer in Christ, as member of the Church by virtue of baptism, has
the duty and responsibility to proclaim the Gospel (cf. can. 96). But the exercise of this responsibility is not the same for all the baptized people. Canons
756-759 of CIC indicate the different degrees of responsibility in proclaiming
the Gospel. Particularly, the function of proclaiming the Gospel has been entrusted to the parish priest (cf. can. 528 §1). The issue of this modest contribution is the parish priest evangelizing action according to CIC Norms. Firstly
and briefly, parish priest identity is considered; then his evangelizing action
and the different kinds of Gospel proclamation; collaborators and all those
evangelizing action is addressed to; lastly, as conclusion and necessary consequence, the urgency and necessity of forming the ministers of the Church to
proclaim the Gospel. In this necessary and urgent evangelizing action, priests
and parish priests are particularly committed as they play an absolutely irreplaceable evangelizer role.
