Equivalent Dose Calculator in Radiation Oncology
Technology Overview
User-friendly calculator of biologically equivalent
doses to the tumor and organs at risk, with automatic
selection of radiobiological parameters and capability
of generating reports.
miCRO serves as a tool for radiation oncologists and
medical physicists in taking clinical decisions
regarding hypo-fractionated and accelerated regimens,
compensation for interruptions of treatment, and
evaluation of doses from sum of plans.
Taking advantage of the accumulated knowledge (the
scientific value of the result), the program developed by CRO automates some iterations not
covered by known planning systems.
