La facoltà di Langues et Culture Etrangères, che include un dipartimento di arabo, offre un curriculum in Lingue, Letterature e Civiltà Straniere ed un altro in Lingue Straniere Applicate (commercio, traduzione o culture contemporanee in Europa). Il Département de Communication, parte della facoltà di Sciences de l’éducation, Psychanalyse, Communication/Français Langue Etrangère, offre un vasta gamma di insegnamenti di lingua e cultura francese trasversali per tutti gli studenti non francofoni. Vi sono due accordi paralleli; uno per due borse annuali con il Département d'études arabes, e uno per due borse semestrali con il Département de Communication / Français Langue Etrangère. L’arabo è insegnato ad un livello molto alto. Le indicazioni presenti sul sito dell’Università non sono sempre facili da navigare, e i programmi dei corsi con relativa specifica dei crediti da acquisire appaiono spesso piuttosto tardi, rendendo difficoltosa la compilazione del LA prima della partenza. Tuttavia, i docenti in loco sono molto preparati e disponibili e l’offerta didattica ampia. The courses are free of charge and are offered for two weeks in September or one week in February. The Receiving Institution will send its decision within 4-6 weeks after receipt of the complete application. A Transcript of Records will be issued by the Receiving Institution no later than 5 weeks after the assessment period has finished at the receiving HEI.
