Riflessione del mese di dicembre COME I RE MAGI Alcuni Magi giunsero da Oriente a Gerusalemme e domandavano:" Dov'è il Re dei Giudei che è nato? Abbiamo visto sorgere la sua stella e siamo venuti per adorarlo". (Mt 2, 1-2). Signore, ti chiedo di rendermi simile, almeno un pochino, ai Re Magi. Questi personaggi speciali, tra leggenda e realtà, che finiscono sempre un po' bistrattati nei nostri presepi domestici. Giungono a destinazione quasi alla fine della festa, quando Gesù Bambino è ormai nato e tutti sono già arrivati ad adorarlo prima di loro. Fanno appena in tempo a posare i famosi doni davanti alla capanna e vengono velocemente riposti, con le altre statuine, nella scatola e poi in dispensa, pronti per l'anno dopo... "Toccata e fuga". Una presenza su cui non meditiamo mai abbastanza e che, invece, porta in se tutte le premesse e la fatica di un lungo viaggio. Rendimi simile a loro, Signore.A questi uomini colti, ricchi, potenti, che avrebbero potuto stare tranquillamente e comodamente nelle loro bellissime case e, invece, si sono messi in cammino. Con i loro bagagli, le carovane, l'oro, l'incenso e la mirra, con una stella speciale ad illuminare le loro notti e l'eco delle profezie antiche a riscaldare i loro cuori. Uomini di scienza, di successo e di cultura che, però, non si sono accontentati. Dona anche a me l'umiltà necessaria per mettermi in viaggio ed infiamma la mia anima del desiderio ardente di trovarti. Non permettere che io mi inganni pensando di poterti raggiungere senza "muovermi", rimanendo ferma in me stessa. Spingimi a lasciare tutto e a mettermi per strada affrontando gli inconvenienti che ogni viaggio comporta, magari un viaggio difficile, in pieno deserto. Ricordami sempre che bisogna cercare ciò che vale perché né la scienza, né l'intelligenza, né la cultura, né i piaceri, né la ricchezza, niente basta per dare senso alla vita, niente senza aver trovato te, il Salvatore. Tu, Signore, colui che non possiamo incontrare se rimaniamo confinati in casa nostra. Colui che non possiamo scoprire se non facciamo la fatica di superare il nostro limite umano. I nostri limiti. Quei limiti che, spesso, diventano un comodo alibi per giustificarci, per non trovarci costretti a porgere l'altra guancia, per non dover andare incontro al nostro fratello scomodo, proprio quello che, sfortunatamente!, ci è prossimo ma ci urta il sistema nervoso! Che cosa si saranno detti questi tre Re multietnici, a rappresentare tutte le genti del mondo e del tempo, durante il viaggio? Cosa sarà passato nei loro cuori? Quali interrogativi? Quali speranze? Quanti, profondi scoraggiamenti ed incertezze? Chissà. Forse le loro speranze e le loro paure sono anche le nostre... Donami, Signore, alla fine di questo cammino, di trovarti e di poterti adorare con i miei poveri doni. Es alli dodne se cimentan los principios y valores , fundamento de la educación , pero mas alla de todo esto es donde nace la familia. El modelo perfecto de la familia ha sido , es y sera el recuadro de la Sagrada Familia de Nazareth. El Evangelio nos cuenta como poco tiempo despues de haber nacido Jesús , José tuvo un mensaje a traves de sueños , tomo a Maria y al niño y huyeron hacia egipto, pues herodes buscaba al Mesías para asesinarlo; mucho tiempo despues regresaron a Israel , pero esta vez se establecieron en Nazareth , tierra que estaba destinada a ser el lugar donde creceria Nuestro Señor Jesús. Esta familia fue probada por circunstancias dificiles y situaciones adversas donde la fe fue imprecindible. Aquel modelo de familia fue escogido por Dios para ser ejemplo para cada uno de nosotros. La perseverancia en la fe y la aceptación de la pruebas de Maria. La constancia , la Fortaleza , la prudencia y la sabiduria de José , el respeto , el amor , la entrega y la fidelidad de Jesús que aun siendo el hijo de Dios , se sometio a sus padres terranales, Maria y Jose , quienes con mucha dedicación hicieron el mejor y mas fiel trabajo puesto por Dios en sus vidas. The Society is dedicated to the Blessed Mother, the growth of the love of God through Mary. We honor the Blessed Mother by the constant and reverent praying of the rosary in our daily life. We are involved in all Parish activities, liturgical and social – and keep informed about civic community activities. Spiritual activities include an Annual Retreat, Annual Communion Breakfast and Baby Shower for Unwed Mothers. The Society raises money to help our Church continue outreach efforts. The form is available in the rectory or can be downloaded from our website. We even have an E-form so you complete this form without writing. This is the ONLY way to reserve a room here at St. A's. The group listed on the parish calendar is the group that has the right to use that space. If you are not a designated ministry of our parish, permission must be granted from our Pastor, Msgr. Cassato, a rental fee is paid, and a lease agreement completed in order to use space. Sunday Bulletin Deadlines The Sunday Bulletin must be e-mailed to our printer by 10a.m. Monday. All announcements must be submitted in WRITTEN form only (handwritten, typed, computer, fax, e-mailed, etc) by 3p.m. Friday. Announcements received after the deadline will be published the following week. No one on the parish staff will assume the responsibility for your ministry’s articles.
