HERITAGE
Axminster carpets are still seen by many to be the crème de la crème of woven carpets. It simply
doesn’t get any better than a high quality woven Axminster. Besides being beautiful and versatile,
Axminster carpets are designed to last. They add a sophisticated and luxurious finishing touch to any
design project or home.
NO COMPROMISES
An Axminster carpet is by far the most practical floorcovering available today, boasting performance
qualities that include durability, strength, appearance retention, cleanability, safety and comfort.
The special weaving process where the pile and the backing materials are woven together in a single
operation ensures a dense, durable and extremely strong carpet especially designed to withstand the
wear and tear of high traffic areas. With Class 33 Heavy Commercial ratings and Bfl flammability
rated, our Walk of Fame Axminster carpet qualities offer complete peace of mind in even the busiest
of environments.
Our Axminster qualities are woven on a state-of-the-art loom equipped with the latest technology.
We can produce the most complex of carpets without compromising on versatility, flexibility and
service.
Especially for our range of Axminster qualities, we have designed and developed in-house a
3-ply yarn made from a high performance blend of 80% British and New Zealand wool and
20% polyamide. Manufacturers commonly use a 2-ply wool yarn in the production of Axminster
carpets, but we have found that the higher quality 3-ply yarn enhances aesthetics and increases
durability. Each pile contains a 3-ply yarn individually woven into place ensuring a perfect pin-point
design definition, no matter the complexity or number of colours used. The yarn also has a natural
ability to contribute to air purity by absorbing harmful pollutants and assisting with the thermal
regulation of a room by absorbing or releasing moisture during periods of high or low humidity
without feeling wet.
A UNIQUE PASSION
As well as our diverse standard collection of styles, we also have a bespoke service that allows our
customers to let their imaginations run wild and create their very own beautiful Axminster carpet
designs.
Limitless creative freedom is what our custom design department is all about. We can produce your
special design or you can consult our library that has an archive of over 25,000 patterns. You can
choose your colours from our dedicated colour suitcase that offers 320 shades, but we can also
custom-make a shade if you are looking for something exclusive. In terms of quality, you can choose
from a 7 to an 11 row/inch on a 4-metre width.
We have manufactured beautiful,
long-lasting carpet for over a century and we have a true passion for design. Our Walk of Fame
Axminster range allows us to offer you the very best in carpet inspired by heritage and designed for
contemporary lifestyles.

(±) These details are approximate. Complete specification details and associated certificates together with tolerances applying to the above can be provided upon request. We reserve the right to improve technical
specifications without prior notice. Due to method of manufacture perfect pattern and/or colour matching cannot be guaranteed. In cut-pile carpeting, in rare cases, shading/pile reversal may occur without affecting
its fitness for use. Shading/pile reversal can not be considered as a manufacturing or a material defect and will not affect the durability of the carpet.
