Articolo 8.4 - Ricognizioni Le vetture numero 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 37, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 46, 47 e 48 devono montare l’equipaggiamento FIA GPS per le Ricognizioni. Il GPS sarà distribuito Lunedì 12 Maggio 2008, dalle 17.00 alle 19.00 presso la Segreteria del Rally. 4) Article 10.1 - Sealing and Marking, Addition Engine sealing Since J-WRC cars are required to have their engines sealed in the same way as World Rally Cars, it is permitted to change the oil pan under the supervision of a Scrutineer. Before Scrutineering, all cars must have their sump guards removed for sealing of gearboxes and differentials, and be kept with the car for the purpose of weighing. Articolo 10.1 - Piombatura e punzonatura, Supplemento Piombatura dei motori E’ previsto che il motore delle vetture J-WRC sia piombato come quello delle vetture WRC; è solamente autorizzata la sostituzione della coppa dell’olio, sotto la supervisione di un Commissario Tecnico. Prima delle Verifiche Tecniche tutte le vetture devono avere i carter rimossi per permettere la piombatura dei cambi e dei differenziali; gli stessi particolari devono essere rimontati per la pesatura. 5) Article 10.2 - Noise level The maximum permitted noise level is 98 decibel. Clarification to the FIA World Rally Championship Regulations Precisazioni al Regolamento FIA World Rally Championship Below FIA document clarifying Article 20 of the FIA WRC Sporting Regulations Qui di seguito il documento FIA con le precisazioni all’Articolo 20 del Regolamento FIA WRC 20. ENGINES 20.1 Limitation of the number of Engines The maximum number of engine links which may be used on a car at the discretion of the Manufacturer or Manufacturer Team for the year is: - 5 engine links per Manufacturer’s car. - 3 engine links per car for a Manufacturer Team which has nominated 10 Championship Events. - 4 engine links per car for a Manufacturer Team which has nominated 11 or 12 Championship events. - 5 engine links per car for a Manufacturer Team which has nominated 13, 14 and 15 Championship events. For a Manufacturer or a Manufacturer Team, a list of rallies intended to be run with the same engine (Links) must be notified to the FIA prior to the first rally in which they will take part. Each engine will be assigned to a competitor’s number. For a Manufacturer Team which has nominated 10 to 12 Rallies, there must be a maximum of 4 Links. For a Manufacturer Team which has nominated 13 to 15 Rallies, there must be a maximum of 5 Links. 20.2 Sealing of the engine The engine of each car entered by a Manufacturer will be sealed by a scrutineer at the start of the first rally of each Link and must should remain sealed until the end of the final rally of the link These seals may be destroyed only in the following cases, without penalty: - Change of oil pan (only under the supervision of a scrutineer). - If the car does not finish the first or the second Rally of a Link, (the either a new engine will be sealed before the start of the next Rally or a previously sealed engine having the seals intact installed). This new engine must remain sealed until the final Rally of the Link. - If a Manufacturer Team used an engine previously used by a Manufacturer and still sealed. If the car finishes the first and/or second Rally of a Link (thus appearing in the final classification) and the seals are found to be destroyed before the second or third Rally of the Link (except for a change of oil pan), a 5-minute penalty may will be imposed by the Stewards at the next Rally. 20.3 Change of an engine 20.3.1 Between Scrutineering and starting park For cars entered by a Manufacturer or a Manufacturer Team, in the case of engine failure between scrutineering and the start of the Rally, and only in that case, it will be permitted to replace that engine with a spare engine. If this engine change takes place during the first rally of a Link, no penalty will be applied. If it takes place during the second or third Rally of a Link, a 5-minute penalty will be applied. Only one spare engine per rally and per Manufacturer is allowed. The identification numbers of the seals must be declared at scrutineering. 20.3.2 After the start of Day 1 The change of an engine during a rally after the start of Day 1 is not permitted. The rest of Article 20 remains unchanged. 20 MOTORI 20.1 Limitazione del numero di motori Il numero massimo di motori link che possono essere utilizzati su una vettura, a discrezione di un Costruttore o di un Team Costruttore, per l’anno 2008 sono: - 5 motori link per vettura Costruttore. - 3 motori link per vettura Team Costruttore che concorre a 10 prove di Campionato. - 4 motori link per vettura Team Costruttore che concorre a 11 o 12 prove di Campionato. - 5 motori link per vettura Team Costruttore che concorre a 13, 14 o 15 prove di Campionato. Prima del primo Rally al quale concorre, il Costruttore o il Team Costruttore deve notificare alla FIA la lista di Rally destinati a essere corsi con lo stesso motore (link). Ciascun motore sarà associato ad un unico numero di gara. Un Team Costruttore che concorre da 10 a 12 Rally, deve avere un massimo di 4 link. Un Team Costruttore che concorre da 13 a 15 Rally, deve avere un massimo di 5 link. 20.2 Piombatura del motore Il motore di ogni vettura iscritta da un Costruttore sarà piombato da un Commissario Tecnico alla partenza del primo Rally di ogni link e dovrà dovrebbe rimanere piombato fino all’arrivo dell’ultimo Rally di ogni link. Questi piombi potranno essere rimossi senza incorrere in penalità ad esclusione dei seguenti casi: - Cambio della coppa dell’olio (solo sotto la supervisione di un Commissario Tecnico) - Se la vettura non finisce il primo o il secondo Rally di un link (sia che si tratti di un il nuovo motore piombato prima della partenza del Rally seguente, sia che si tratti di un motore precedentemente piombato che abbia le piombature intatte). Questo motore rimarrà piombato fino all’ultimo Rally di un link. - Se un Team Costruttore utilizza un motore ancora piombato e precedentemente utilizzato da un Costruttore. Nel caso in cui la vettura termini il primo o il secondo Rally di un link (in modo da comparire nella classifica finale) e si rilevi il danneggiamento di un piombo prima del secondo o del terzo Rally di un link (ad esclusione del cambio della coppa dell’olio), i Commissari Sportivi potrebbero imporre imporranno 5 minuti di penalità alla partenza del Rally successivo. 20.3 Sostituzione del motore 20.3.1 Fra le verifiche tecniche e la partenza Per le vetture iscritte da un Costruttore o da un Team Costruttore sarà permesso cambiare il motore con uno di ricambio nel caso in cui, e solo in questo caso, esso si danneggi fra le Verifiche Tecniche e la partenza del Rally. Se questa sostituzione di motore è effettuata nel primo Rally di un link, non sarà applicata nessuna penalità. Se la sostituzione è effettuata nel secondo o nel terzo Rally di un link, sarà applicata una penalità di 5 minuti. Per ogni Costruttore è autorizzato un solo motore di ricambio per ciascun Rally. I numeri di identificazione delle piombature dovranno essere dichiarate alle Verifiche Tecniche. 20.3.2 Dopo la partenza del Giorno 1 Non è autorizzato il cambio di un motore durante un Rally dopo la partenza del Giorno 1.
