Edificato nel X secolo, il Castello di Montignano è un posto unico che racchiude in sé
la maestosità del castello ed il fascino del borgo medievale.

The Castle of Montignano is today a Historical Residence
with a luxury wellness centre, three conference rooms,

Le suites, le camere e gli appartamenti prendono il nome dalle famiglie
che hanno posseduto il castello dal X secolo ad oggi. Sontuose dimore con vista
mozzafiato si alternano con altre ricavate nelle antiche volte ed altre con camino.
In tutte le suites è possibile godere dei trattamenti benessere direttamente in camera.
Tutte le camere sono arredate con mobilio originale e con oggetti di recupero che
reinterpretano e contaminano creativamente lo stile delle varie epoche fondendo
atmosfere d’epoca e design d’avanguardia.
The suites, rooms and apartments are named after the families that have owned
the Castle from the 10th century up to today. Sumptuous accommodation
with breath-taking views is offered, as well as other rooms built out of the old castle vaults
and other rooms with a fireplace. You can enjoy the wellness treatments
directly in any suite. All rooms include original pieces of furniture and renovated
objects that reinterpret and creatively contaminate the style of various ages,
combining antique atmospheres with an avant-garde design setting.
“Acqua Degna” SPA, situata nelle segrete del Castello, è accessibile con ascensore
direttamente dalle camere. Il percorso romano basato sullo studio delle Terme
di Caracalla e Diocleziano, introduce alle sale trattamenti ed alla zona relax
estendendosi per 400 mq. Il Thermarium è una imponente piscina idromassaggio
ricavata in un’antica vasca per la raccolta dell’acqua. Incastonate nella roccia
vi sono la sala Tepidarium (37°) ed il Calidarium (45°) per otto persone da cui si passa
al Frigidarium con una scenografica cascata gelata. Il chiostro del Castello
accoglie la zona relax e la tisaneria.
“Acqua Degna” SPA, situated in the Castle’s dungeons, may be reached by lift,
directly from your room. The Roman baths, based on the study of the Caracalla
and Diocletian Spas, leads you to the treatment areas and to the relax area,
covering some 400 square metres. The Thermarium is a grand swimming pool with
hydromassage, created in an old tank that was once used to collect rainwater.
Set right into the rock are the Tepidarium (37°) and the Calidarium (45°)
for eight people, which then lead you to the Frigidarium with its impressive
frozen falls. The Castle’s cloister includes the relax area and the tea-room.

indicazioni per Montignano (4 km circa).
Da Nord: Autostrada A1 - Uscire a Valdichiana Bettolle e prendere il raccordo autostradale Bettolle
Perugia (circa 20 km). Proseguire sul raccordo autostradale Perugia A1 (40 km) e prendere la
E45. Dopo circa 50 km uscire a Massa Martana e seguire le indicazioni per Montignano (4 km
circa).

Coming from the South: A1 Motorway - Take the “Orte” exit and join the E45 on your
right, direction for Terni. After some 20 km, join the Perugia Cesena road. After another
20 km, take the “Massa Martana” exit and follow the signs for Montignano (some 4 km).
Coming from the North: A1 Motorway - Take the “Valdichiana Bettolle” exit and join the
highway connecting road Bettolle Perugia (some 20 km). Follow the highway connecting
road Perugia A1 (40 km) and join the E45. After some 50 km, take the “Massa Martana”
exit and follow the signs for Montignano (some 4 km).
By train - Massa Martana station:
