RE: Establishment of ALTO – the Australian-Italian Leaders of Tomorrow
We are pleased to announce that in October 2013 we will be launching a new Australian-Italian Young Leaders of Tomorrow (ALTO)
association. Our mission is to become the leading independent organisation to connect and support Young Italian Business leaders and
the wider community in Australia. Our initial focus will be on Melbourne.
We are targeting high-performing young professionals (typically 18-40 years old) in professional disciplines, particularly Law,
Accounting, Consulting, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Academia, Industry, Start-ups and Family Businesses. There is a large cross
section of high-performing young Italian-Australian professionals similar to us with proud Italian heritage who want to connect but have
no straightforward or clear way of doing so. We believe it would be a vibrant and unified Chapter for the Italian- Australian Community
to proudly celebrate for many generations ahead. Historically professionals of Italian heritage have been hesitant to celebrate their
cultural background within their chosen discipline. We aspire to offer all people of Italian lineage a forum to acknowledge their roots
within their chosen discipline as well as the wider Australian business environment with quiet respect to their common heritage.
Our core activities will be:
1. Business Networking Events;
2. Succession Planning (including business directory and helping small-to-medium Italian businesses identify future talent and
establish a presence in their marketplaces); and
3. Community Support (including Italian caring and volunteering support).
ALTO invites and welcomes young professionals to join. We have engaged key stakeholders, including the Italian Chamber of Commerce
Melbourne, Italian Consulate Generale and COASIT. We have a committed, highly-skilled and commercially experienced Steering
Committee to make this vision happen. We will have an independent governance structure and engage collaboratively to support our
wider Italian-Australian Community. ALTO Membership is free.

We will be holding an inaugural Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday 31 October 2013 at leading law firm Holding Redlich
(Level 8, 555 Burke Street, Melbourne) from 6:00pm-9:00pm. The event will be catered and sponsored by Brunetti. We have attached
an RSVP invitation or alternatively you can e-mail your attendance to: [email protected]. If this concept is of interest to you, your family
members, friends or colleagues and you wish to participate - we welcome you to join us on the night to have an influence in its
direction.

Siamo lieti di annunciare che in ottobre 2013 lanceremo una nuova rete di italo-australiani imprenditori di domain (ALTO). La nostra
missione è di diventare organizzazione indipendente leader dell'Australia per connettersi e sostenere i giovani imprenditori italiani e la
comunità più ampia.
Noi stiamo prendendo di mira performante giovani professionisti (in genere di età 18-40 anni) in discipline, particolarmente legge,
contabili, Consulting, ingegneria, finanza, Marketing, accademico, industria, Start-up e imprese di famiglia. Ci sono letteralmente
migliaia di alte prestazioni professionisti giovani italiani business/commerce simili a noi con orgoglioso patrimonio italiano e identità
italiana che vogliono connettersi. Noi crediamo che sarebbe un capitolo vibrante, potente, unificato per australiano comunità italiane
celebrare con orgoglio per molte generazioni a venire.
