1 . M IS U R E D I S IC U R E Z Z A
Prima della messa in funzione della pompa, leggere attentamente il presente libretto di istruzioni
e conservarlo per successive consultazioni.
L’apparecchio deve essere utilizzato solamente per le funzioni per le quali è stato costruito.
Per ragioni di sicurezza si avverte che l’apparecchio non deve essere utilizzato da minori di 16
anni o da persone che non abbiano letto e compreso il presente libretto di istruzioni.
Il cavo di alimentazione e l’interruttore galleggiante non devono mai essere utilizzati per trasportare o per spostare la pompa. Utilizzate sempre il manico della pompa.
Quando la pompa è collegata alla rete elettrica, evitare qualsiasi contatto con l’acqua.
Non staccare mai la spina dalla presa tirando il cavo.
Prima di qualsiasi intervento sulla pompa, staccare sempre la spina dalla corrente.
Se il cavo di alimentazione è danneggiato, esso deve essere sostituito dal costruttore o dal suo
servizio assistenza tecnica autorizzato, in modo da prevenire ogni rischio.
Protezione da sovraccarico. La pompa è dotata di un salvamotore termico. In caso di eventuale surriscaldamento del motore, il salvamotore spegne la pompa automaticamente. Il tempo di
raffreddamento è di circa 15-20 min. dopo di che la pompa si riaccende automaticamente. Dopo
l’intervento del salvamotore è assolutamente necessario ricercarne la causa ed eliminarla. Consultate Ricerca Guasti.

Pompa sommersa multistadio con elettronica integrata ideale per l’impiego in sistemi di acqua piovana
e reti di irrigazione, per pompare acqua da serbatoi, cisterne, laghetti e pozzi e per altre applicazioni che
richiedono un’elevata pressione.
L’elettronica com anda autom aticam ente l’accensione e lo spegnim ento (O N /O FF)dell’applicazione in funzione della
richiesta d’acqua da parte dell’utilizzatore.
L’elettronica protegge l’applicazione dalfunzionam ento a secco
• Fase diadescam ento: in fase diadescam ento, la pom pa esegue quattro tentatividi30” (m otore O N ) intervallati
da pause di3” (m otore O FF). N elcaso m anchil’acqua, la pom pa siferm a per un’ora e quindifa un nuovo tentativo d’adescam ento. S e tale tentativo fallisce, la pausa diventa di5 ore, quindil’applicazione ripete iltentativo
di adescam ento ogni 24 ore fino a quando il livello dell’acqua non diventi sufficiente per consentire il norm ale
funzionam ento
• N orm ale Funzionam ento S e, durante ilfunzionam ento, per 40” secondiilconsum o dell’acqua è inferiore alla portata m inim a, la pom pa va in allarm e e siferm a per 1 ora. D opodiché, se illivello dell’acqua rim ane insufficiente, la
pom pa entra in fase diadescam ento
L’elettronica protegge la pom pa daiguastialla Valvola diN on R itorno (N R V), generalm ente causatida incrostazioni
disporco o disabbia. Le incrostazioniim pediscono alla VN R dichiudersi, quindil’applicazione continua a funzionare anche in m ancanza diacqua. N elnostro caso, la pom pa viene spenta autom aticam ente ogniora; se tutto è

norm ale,l’utente nota solo un leggerissim o calo dipressione della durata dipochisecondi.S e invece la VN R è bloccata, la pom pa va in allarm e e può essere rim essa in funzione solo dopo aver rim osso le cause dell’ostruzione.
La situazione ideale dilavoro è con la pom pa com pletam ente som m ersa; tuttavia ilsistem a diraffreddam ento del
m otore ne consente, per breviperiodi, l’utilizzo fino all’altezza m inim a diaspirazione (50 m m ).
La pom pa è dotata diun filtro anti-detritiin acciaio inossidabile.
Utilizzare la pompa esclusivamente in acqua pulita. La pompa non deve essere impiegata per pompare
acqua salata, liquami, liquidi infi ammabili, corrosivi o esplosivi (es. petrolio, benzina, diluenti), grassi, oli
o prodotti alimentari.
La temperatura del liquido da pompare non deve superare i 3 5° C
In caso di utilizzo della pompa per l’alimentazione idrica domestica rispettare le normative locali
delle autorità responsabili della gestione delle risorse idriche.
3 . M E S S A IN F U NZ IONE
V iste le diverse disposizioni vigenti nei singoli paesi nell’ambito della sicurezza degli impianti
elettrici, assicurarsi che l’impianto sia conforme alle normative in essere.
Prima di mettere in funzione la pompa verifi cate che:
• Ilvoltaggio e la frequenza riportatisulla targhetta tecnica della pom pa corrispondano aidatidell’im pianto elettrico
dialim entazione.
• Ilcavo dialim entazione della pom pa o la pom pa non siano danneggiati.
• Ilcollegam ento elettrico deve avvenire in luogo asciutto, alriparo dieventualiallagam enti.
• L’im pianto elettrico sia provvisto diinterruttore diprotezione salvavita da I∆ n ≤ 30 m A e che l’im pianto diterra sia
efficiente.
• Eventualiprolunghe siano conform ialla norm ativa vigente.
4 . C ONS IG LI S U LL’U S O
P er un corretto funzionam ento della pom pa devono essere rispettate le seguentiregole difunzionam ento:
• La pom pa deve essere situata in una posizione stabile all’interno diun pozzetto diraccolta o com unque nelpunto
più basso dellocale diinstallazione.
• P er evitare l’ostruzione deipassaggidiaspirazione, siconsiglia diverificare periodicam ente che nelpozzetto di
raccolta non sisia accum ulato sporco (foglie, sabbia, ecc.).

M A NUT E NZ IO NE E PULIZ IA
La pom pa non necessita dim anutenzione Ilgelo può danneggiare la pom pa. In caso ditem perature m olto rigide,
togliere la pom pa dalliquido, svuotarla e riporla alriparo dalgelo. P rim a dieffettuare qualsiasiintervento dipulizia,
la pom pa deve essere scollegata dalla rete dialim entazione.

Prima di iniziare la ricerca guasti è necessario interrompere il collegamento elettrico della pompa
(togliere la spina dalla presa). Se il cavo di alimentazione o la pompa in qualsiasi sua parte elettrica è danneggiata l’intervento di riparazione o sostituzione deve essere eseguito dal Costruttore
o dal suo servizio di assistenza tecnica o da una persona con qualifi ca equivalente in modo da
prevenire ogni rischio.

B efore starting the pump, read this instruction book let carefully and k eep it in a safe place for
future reference. T he pump must only be used for the purpose for w hich it w as designed. F or
safety reasons the pump must not be used by any one under the age of 16 or by any one w ho has
not read and understood the present instructions book let.
T he pow er cord and fl oating sw itch must never be used to carry or move the pump. A lw ay s use
the pump’s handle.
W hen handling the pump, w hile it is connected to the electric pow er supply , y ou should avoid all
contact w ith w ater.
Never remove the plug by pulling on the pow er cord.
B efore tak ing any action on the pump, alw ay s remove the plug from the pow er sock et.
If the pow er supply cord has been damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its authorized customer support service in order to avoid all risk s.
T he pump is equipped w ith a thermal overload safety device. In the event of any overheating of
the motor, this device automatically sw itches off the pump. T he cooling time is roughly 15 to 20
minutes, then the pump automatically comes on again. If the overload cutout is tripped, it is essential to identify and deal w ith the cause of the overheating. See T roubleshooting.
2.U SE
M ulti-impeller submersible pumps w ith buit-in electronics ideal for rain w ater and mains irrigation sy stems, for pumping w ater from tank s, ponds and w ells and other applications that require high pressure.
The pum p is equipped w ith a built-in electronic controlunit w hich m anages its operation (pum p O N /FF) and prevents dam ages.
The electronics protects the pum p against dry running conditions:
• P rim ing cycle: W hen started, the pum p w illperform the follow ing operation untilit is prim ed: four prim ing trials of
30” (m otor O N )w ith pauses of 3” (m otor O FF). If there is no w ater, i.e. if the prim ing trials fail, the pum p w illstop
for an hour before trying to prim e again. If also this trialfails, there w illbe a 5 hours pause. A fterw ards, if the lack
of w ater persists, the pum p w illtry to prim e every 24 hours untilit has picked up a prim e.
• N orm alO peration: If, during the pum ps operation, the w ater supply is inferior to the m inim um delivery for m ore
than 40”, the pum p w illgo into alarm , and start a prim ing cycle. In this case the prim ing trials are m ade after 1, 5,
and 24 hours untilthe pum p picks up a prim e.
The electronic unit also protects the pum p from dam ages that could be caused by the blocking of the N ot R eturn
Valve (N R V). S uch blockings are generally due to dirt deposits, or sand and they cause the pum p to operate also if
there is no w ater dem and from the end-user.The protection function stops the pum p autom atically every hour;ifno
dam age is detected the pum p re-starts im m ediately. If the VN R is blocked the pum p goes into alarm and stops. In
this case the pum p can be re-started only after unplugging the pum p and rem oving the obstruction to the VN R .
The best w orking condition is w ith the pum p be com pletely subm ersed in w ater.
A nyw ay the m otor’s cooling system allow s the use at the m inim um suction height for very short periods.

The pum p is equipped w ith a stainless steelanti-deposit filter
T he temperature of the fl uid being pumped must never ex ceed 3 5° C.
T he pump must not be used to pump salt w ater (unless specifi cally designed for the purpose),
sew age, fl ammable, corrosive or ex plosive liquids (e.g. petroleum oil, petrol, thinners), grease,
oils or foodstuffs.
Comply w ith the rules and regulations of the local w ater authority w hen using the pump for the
supply of domestic w ater.
3 . S TAR TING TH E P U M P
Given the different provisions applicable to the safety of electric sy stems in different countries,
mak e sure that the pump sy stem, as concerns its intended use, is in accordance w ith current
legislation.
B efore starting the pump, mak e sure that:
• the voltage and frequency specified on the pum p’s nam eplate coincide w ith those of the available pow er supply;
• there are no signs of dam age to the pum p or its pow er cord;
• the electric connection is m ade in a dry place, protected against any risk of flooding;
• the electric system is com plete w ith a residual current circuit-breaker (I ∆ n ≤ 30 m A ) and an efficient earthing
connection;
• A ny extension cords m ust com ply w ith the requirem ents of the D IN VD E standard 0620.
4 . R E C OM M E ND ATIONS
To ensure the proper operation of the pum p, it is im portant to com ply w ith the follow ing recom m endations:
• The pum p m ust only be used w hen it is im m ersed in w ater.
• The pum p m ust be placed in a stable position inside a trap or in the low est part of the place w here it is installed.
• P eriodically, it is advisable to m ake sure that no dirt (leaves, sand, etc.)has accum ulated in the collection trap.
M A INT E NA NCE A ND CLE A NING
It is absolutely essentialto prevent any risk of the pum p freezing. In the event of freezing tem peratures, rem ove the
pum p from the liquid, em pty it and keep it in a place w here it cannot freeze. The pum p m ust be disconnected from
the m ains pow er supply before any cleaning operation is perform ed. The pum p is m aintenance free.

B efore tak ing any troubleshooting action, disconnect the pump from the pow er supply (i.e. remove the plug from the sock et). If there is any damage to the pow er cable or pump, any necessary
repairs or replacements must be performed by the manufacturer or his authorized customer
support service, or by an equally -qualifi ed party , in order to prevent all risk s.

This product or its parts m ust be disposed ofin accordance w ith the law s regarding the environm ent; U se the local,
public or private, refuse collection services.
7 . G U AR ANTE E
A ny m aterialor m anufacturing defects w illbe corrected during the guarantee period established by current law in
the country w here the product is purchased. It is up to the m anufacturer to decide w hether to repair or replace any
faulty parts.
The m anufacturer’s guarantee covers allsubstantialdefects attributable to m anufacturing or m aterialdefects, providing the product has been used correctly and in com pliance w ith the instructions.
The guarantee becom es nulland void in the event of the follow ing:
- unauthorized attem pts to repair the appliance;
- unauthorized technicalchanges to the appliance;
- use of non-originalspare parts; m anhandling;
- inappropriate use, e.g. for industrialpurposes.
The guarantee does not cover:
- parts liable to rapid w ear and tear.
For any action under guarantee, contact an authorized custom er support service, presenting your receipt for the
purchase of the product.
The m anufacturer accepts no liability for any inaccuracies in the present booklet due to printing or copying errors.
The m anufacturer reserves the right to m ake any changes to the product he deem s necessary or useful, w ithout
affecting its essentialfeatures.
