PRESENTATION
On behalf of AIPnD (Italian Society for Non Destructive Testing) and AEND (Spanish Society for Non Destructive
Testing), the societies organising the “11th International Conference on non-destructive investigations
and microanalysis for the diagnostics and conservation of cultural and environmental heritage”
“art’14”, are honoured to welcome all the members of the cultural heritage communities.
The art’14 Conference will be a major event for the International communities. The profile of the Conference
will ensure that delegates and visitors from users (museums, universities....), research and development
centres, have the opportunity to meet in Madrid.
The technical and scientific programme include both sessions with oral presentations and posters, on
development and application in NDT methods and equipment, and higlights the application of NDT in a large
number of important sectors.
GENERAL INFORMATION
VENUE
The Conference will be held in Madrid, at “MAN - Museo Arqueológico Nacional” (http://man.mcu.es). On
Thursday June 12th, in the afternoon, there will be an invited paper at Museo Thyssen Bornemisza, followed
by a Spanish wine.

WORKING LANGUAGES
The official language of the Conference is English. Spanish and Italian may be used only for posters and short
presentations. All abstracts, full papers and slides must be in English.
PRELIMINARY AND FINAL PROGRAMME
The detailed scientific Programme will be mailed to all registered participants.
The Abstract Book and Proceedings will be distributed at the Congress.

Full payment of fees is required in order to attend the Congress.
Payment can be made online at the time of registering, or at a later time upon receipt of invoice. A Confirmation
of Registration will be sent to you upon completion of the online registration form. If you do not receive
anything within 3 days, contact the Congress Office ([email protected]).
Payment may be made as follows:
• Bank Transfer: Detailed banking information will be provided automatically by e-mail. Transfers must be
made in € Euros to the account of VIAJES PACIFICO SA.
• Credit Card Online: You will be redirected to a Bank secure page. VISA, Mastercard and
American Express are accepted.
Credit Card Authorization form: You will receive automatically by e-mail our credit card authorization form.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Only written cancellations sent to art´14 Secretariat will be considered. Refunds will be possible only if the
participant´s bank details are specified.
Cancellations before February 28th 2014 will be refunded, but they will be charged of 50,00 € (administrative tax).
There will be a 50% refund for cancellations received between March 1st and April 30th, 2014. No registration
fee refunds can be made for requests received after April 30th, 2014.
ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation will be available in Madrid, at hotels near the Conference venue.
