CALL FOR APPLICATIONS TO ASSIGN 1 RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP Institute of Economics - Scientific Field –SECS-P/02 – Economic Policy Research activity: Trade, Reallocation, and Productivity during the Great Recession Position and grant Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna announces a call to assign one Research Fellowship to perform research activities related to the scientific fields SECS-P/02 – Economic Policy in the Institute of Economics. The gross amount of the fellowship is € 19,367.00 per year. The present fellowship cannot be cumulated with other fellowships and grants except those aimed at financing a period of stay abroad necessary within the research activity. The duration of the research fellowship is one year, renewable for further 12 months in case of positive evaluation of the research activities performed. Research Activity “Trade, Reallocation, and Productivity during the Great Recession” Based on the SIR project RBSI14JAFW TRAPduringGRE (Trade, Reallocation, and Productivity during the Great Recession), the research activity will study reallocation processes both across and within firms. In particular, the analysis aims to investigate the relationship between productivity and firm growth, as measured both by employment growth and sales growth, following the hypothesis that this relationship depends both on the business cycle and on the firm export status. Moreover, the analysis will investigate also the way in which exporters reacted to the Great Recession shock, taking into account the role of geographical and product diversification. Competencies in econometric tools and economic analysis are required.
