l’autunno-inverno 2012-2013 abbraccia
tutti i colori caldi dell’Autunno per far fronte al
freddo pungente .
SuperDuper hats disegna la sua collezione
ispirandosi all’eleganza maschile della prima
metà del secolo scorso.
La nuova collezione incontra lo stile dei grandi
attori del cinema muto, l’aria malinconica dei
sassofonisti ryhtm and blues dei sobborghi di
New Orleans, fino a raggiunge l’immaginario
della working class più polverosa.
Tutta la collezione è realizzata con materiali di
altissima qualità privilegiando le combinazioni
tono su tono al fine di esaltare la bellezza delle
forme.
La punta di diamante della collezione è il fedora
con il fiore all’occhiello, piccolo dettaglio da
appuntare alla giacca nelle giornate ventose.
SuperDuper Hats riscopre anche i berretti e il
“deer stalker” di Sherlock Holmes rinventandoli
in cavallino.

menswear collection embraces all the warm
autumn colors needed to face biting wintery
cold.
SuperDuper Hats design draws inspiration from
men’s elegance in vogue during the first half of
the past century.
The new collection meets the style of the great
silent movies actors, the gloom of rhythm and
blues sax players from the New Orleans suburbs,
up to the imagery of the dustiest working class.
The whole collection is manufactured using
only the best and highest quality materials,
favouring tone on tone combinations in order to
emphasize the different shapes’ beauty.
The centerpiece of this year’s collection is the
fedora with buttonhole flower, a small detail to
pin the jacket on a windy day.
Furthermore, SuperDuperHats rediscover caps,
including the ‘deer stalker’ cap brought to fame
by Sherlock Holmes, reinventing them with
pony hair fur.

l’autunno inverno 2012-2013 si arricchisce
di nuovi materiali e colori per inventare una
nuova femminilità.
La collezione si veste del fascino delle grandi
donne del passato ricordando la malizia dei
personaggi femminili della Nuovelle Vague
e le atmosfere fredde de “La Ville Lumiere”
d’inverno.
I cappelli in pelle e in cavallino incontrano le
forme dolci ma taglienti delle donne di Lempicka
e si tingono di riflessi metallici.
Pensati per il grande freddo, manicotti e
colbacchi di pelliccia nei colori nero, cognac e
smokey lilla, accessori che riemergono da un
passato lontano in una veste più contemporanea.
I cappelli in feltro privilegiano i volumi sinuosi
e le curve morbide mescolando ai toni freddi
come il carta da zucchero e l’argento, nuances
più calde come avorio e tortora.

women’s collection, reinvents and presents a new
femininity. The collection draws its inspiration from
fascinating female protagonists of the past,
reminiscent of the mischievous personalities
of the Nouvelle Vague and the cold winter
atmospheres of the ‘La Ville Lumiere’. The hats in leather and pony skin encounter
the soft yet edgy forms of the women depicted
by Lempicka, and are tinted with metallic
reflections. Thought out for a great cold, fur muffs and
fur hats in a variety of colors, such as black,
cognac and smoky lilac, enter the collection as
accessories that reemerge from a far past with a
contemporary look and style. The felt hats give a special tone to the volume
and soft curves, by mixing them with colder
tones such as silver and smoky blue, and darker
nuances such as ivory and dove-grey.
