L
’8 dicembre 1910 è stata fondata l’Azienda Elettrica Municipale (AEM), la storica
municipalizzata del Comune di Milano nel campo dell’energia elettrica.
Per settant’anni , grazie all’energia prodotta nelle centrali idroelettriche costruite in Valtellina,
ha rappresentato il fulcro dello sviluppo economico ed energetico di Milano. Nel 1981 l’Azienda assume
la fornitura del gas cittadino trasformandosi in Azienda Energetica Municipale.
Nel 1996 viene privatizzata e assume la forma di società per azioni, mentre nel 1998 viene quotata alla
Borsa Valori di Milano. Con il I° gennaio 2008, in seguito alla fusione con la ASM di Brescia, AEM spa
assume la denominazione sociale a2a spa.
Lo storico marchio AEM sopravvive nel nome di organismi quali il CRAEM (Circolo Ricreativo
Aziendale) e la nuova Fondazione AEM, che hanno ricevuto dalla società il compito di perpetuare i valori
di socialità e di sensibilità culturale che ne hanno sempre connotato l’azione.
In occasione del centenario della fondazione dell’AEM, la Fondazione AEM e il CRAEM indicono il
Concorso Internazionale di Ex Libris “L’AEM dalla sua nascita ad oggi: l’energia, i suoi luoghi e il progresso
industriale. Gli ex libris narrano e illustrano” allo scopo di promuovere la conoscenza dei beni storici,
architettonici e culturali che l’impresa ha realizzato nel territorio in Milano e in Valtellina e, allo stesso tempo,
la consapevolezza del contributo fondamentale che AEM ha fornito all’industrializzazione della Lombardia.
L’esposizione degli Ex Libris sarà presso la Casa dell’Energia, centro permanente di comunicazione, (museo
e laboratorio didattico) il 22 ottobre 2010, e sarà aperta al pubblico.
L’esposizione sarà successivamente itinerante in Valtellina.

n 8 December 1910, the Azienda Elettrica Municipale (AEM) was founded: the historical
Municipal Company of Milan in the field of electricity.
For seventy years, thanks to the energy generated by the hydroelectric plants constructed in
Valtellina, it has been the fulcrum of economic and energy development in Milan.
In 1981, the company takes on the supplying of gas in Milan, thus becoming the Azienda Energetica
Municipale.
In 1996, it was privatised and became a joint stock company; moreover, in 1998, it had a share price in
the Milan Stock Exchange. On January 1, 2008, after its merger with the ASM of Brescia, AEM SpA was
given the corporate name a2a SpA.
The historical company name AEM survives in the names of organisations such as CRAEM (a company’s
recreational centre) and the new Fondazione AEM, which have continued the company’s task of
perpetuating the social and cultural values sensitivity that have always characterized its activity.
On the occasion of the centennial of the foundation of AEM, the Fondazione AEM and CRAEM
announce the International Competition for Ex Libris “AEM from its birth until today: energy, AEM
places and industrial progress. The Ex Libris describe and illustrate” with the aim of promoting both the
knowledge of historical, architectural and cultural heritage that the company has developed in the
territories of Milan and Valtellina and, at same time, the awareness of the vital contribution that AEM has
added to the industrialisation of Lombardy.
The exhibition of Ex Libris will be held at the Casa dell’Energia, a permanent centre of communication
(museum and educational workshop), on October 22, 2010, and will be open to the public.
The exhibition will be touring Valtellina later on.

Articolo 1 - Argomenti tematici
gli argomenti degli ex Libris devono essere attinenti al mondo della produzione dell’energia idroelettrica che ha favorito l’industrializzazione e migliorato le condizioni e la
qualità della vita della popolazione. Le opere devono far riferimento agli ambienti naturali ove
si è sviluppata la storia dell’AEM, alle architetture ove è iniziata e proseguita la sua attività, agli
interventi storici di illuminazione realizzati in città italiane (Galleria Vittorio Emanuele - Milano)
e straniere (San Pietroburgo), ai personaggi - dirigenti e operai - senza tralasciare riferimenti ai
materiali, agli strumenti e ai macchinari. Nella composizione dell’Ex Libris deve essere sempre
contenuta la dicitura: ex Libris Aem 1910-2010.

Articolo 2 - Partecipanti
Al concorso possono partecipare le opere inviate da artisti di ogni nazionalità. La partecipazione al concorso è gratuita e non prevede alcun rimborso spese da parte dei promotori del
concorso.
Articolo 3 - Tecniche ammesse
Sono ammesse unicamente la xilografia e la calcografia; sono escluse tutte le tecniche di
riproduzione fotomeccanica e digitale.
Articolo 4 - Numero Ex Libris da inviare
Ogni partecipante può inviare fino ad un massimo di cinque (5) differenti Ex Libris. Di ogni
Ex Libris devono pervenire tre (3) copie che devono essere tutte firmate o siglate dall’artista.
Sul retro di ogni Ex Libris deve essere indicato a matita il titolo, la tecnica usata, l’anno di esecuzione, la misura della stampa, il cognome e il nome dell’artista, la nazionalità.

Articolo 5 - Dimensione della carta e della stampa
La carta utilizzata per la stampa non deve superare le dimensioni massime di 148x210 mm.
(A5), mentre la parte “figurata” non deve superare le dimensioni massime di 140x140 mm.
Articolo 6 - Modalità di spedizione
Gli Ex Libris devono essere riposti in una confezione solida ed impermeabile, indicando all’esterno della busta (o piccolo pacco), la scritta “NON PIEGARE” ed inviati mediante raccomandata con ricevuta di ritorno o assicurata. All’interno della confezione deve essere accluso il
modulo di partecipazione compilato in modo leggibile con indirizzo postale, posta elettronica
dell’autore unitamente a un breve curriculum formativo e professionale e l’autorizzazione del
trattamento dei dati personali.
Qualora l’invio fosse effettuato con un’unica spedizione ma contenente il materiale di due o più
artisti, ognuno di loro deve compilare e firmare il modulo allegato (può essere fotocopiato) che
implica la partecipazione e l’accettazione delle norme del regolamento.
Articolo 7 - Data limite di accettazione
La busta contenente gli Ex Libris deve pervenire entro e non oltre la data del 31 luglio 2010
(farà fede la data del timbro postale).
Articolo 8 - Indirizzo per la spedizione
La spedizione si deve effettuare al seguente indirizzo:

Articolo 9 - Cessione dei diritti di utlilizzo degli Ex Libris pervenuti
Il materiale inviato per il concorso non sarà restituito e rimarrà di proprietà della Fondazione
AEM che potrà disporne liberamente e senza richiesta di autorizzazioni per la propria attività culturale. Partecipando al concorso, l’artista concede alla Fondazione AEM e al CRAEM tutti i diritti di pubblicazione, riproduzione con tecniche tradizionali e multimediali, degli Ex Libris inviati,
nonché i diritti di utilizzarli per attività espositive. Anche per queste iniziative, all’artista non è
dovuto alcun compenso o diritto fatto salvo il diritto all’informazione che la Fondazione AEM e
il CRAEM si impegnano a tutelare.
A tal fine, è obbligo dell’artista fornire un costante aggiornamento sui propri recapiti.
Articolo 10 - Pubblicazione degli Ex Libris
Gli Ex Libris saranno raccolti in un catalogo stampato in offset contenente le opere degli artisti
premiati, dei segnalati e dei selezionati, eccezion fatta per i non selezionati e gli eventuali esclusi
dalla giuria. Il catalogo conterrà l’elenco di tutti gli artisti che hanno partecipato al concorso con
i relativi indirizzi. Agli artisti inseriti nella pubblicazione sarà donata una copia della stessa.
Articolo 11 - Esposizione degli Ex Libris
Gli Ex Libris premiati, segnalati e selezionati, verranno esposti in una mostra, che si terrà in Milano (Italia) il 22 ottobre 2010, presso la Casa dell’Energia, Piazza Po 3, e che sarà in seguito
itinerante in Valtellina.

Articolo 12 - Premi e Riconoscimenti
I premi assegnati sono suddivisi in tre distinte categorie (Xilografia, Calcografia, Premio
Speciale). È prevista la segnalazione delle opere di artisti degni di menzione.

Primo premio € 1.500,00 - Secondo premio € 1.000,00 - Terzo premio € 800,00
PREMIO CALCOGRAFIA
Primo premio € 1.500,00 - Secondo premio € 1.000,00 - Terzo premio € 800,00
PREMIO SPECIALE € 2.500,00
Assegnato all’artista scelto tra coloro che avranno trattato cinque (5) temi diversi in altrettante
opere per illustrare la storia di AEM. I cinque Ex Libris possono essere eseguiti tutti con la
stessa tecnica, oppure alternando la xilografia alla calcografia.
PREMI SPECIALI STUDENTI
Gli studenti possono partecipare individualmente o come classe dell’isitituto di appartenenza. I premi previsti sono due dell’ammontare di € 1.000,00 ciascuno, uno per la xilografia
e l’altro per la calcografia.
La giuria selezionata di comune accordo dal CRAEM e dalla Fondazione AEM indicherà con giudizio insindacabile ed inappellabile e senza possibilità di reclamo gli artisti ammessi, gli artisti vincitori e gli artisti selezionati per menzione onorevole. Il ritiro dei premi è a completo carico dei vincitori.

Articolo 14 - Comunicazione ai vincitori
I risultati del concorso saranno comunicati ai vincitori ed ai segnalati entro il mese di settembre
2010 e pubblicati sul sito della Fondazione AEM e del CRAEM. Si darà comunicazione sui
risultati del concorso a tutte le Associazioni che fanno parte della Fédération Internationale des
Sociétés d’Amateurs d’Ex-Libris (FISAE).
Articolo 15 - Accettazione delle norme del concorso
La partecipazione al concorso implica l’accettazione incondizionata di tutte le norme del regolamento.

Article 1 - Topics
the topics of the ex Libris must be related to the world of hydroelectric energy production,
which has favoured industrialisation and improved the conditions and quality of life of the
population. The works must refer to the natural environment where the history of AEM has
developed, to the buildings where its activity began and has continued, to the historical works
of lighting carried out in Italian cities (Galleria Vittorio Emanuele - Milan) as well as abroad (Saint
Petersburg), to the persons—managers and workers—without omitting references to the
material used, to tools and machinery. The composition of the Ex Libris must always contain the
phrase: ex Libris Aem 1910-2010.

Article 2 - Participants
The competition is open to works submitted by artists of all nationalities. The participation in the
competition is free, with no reimbursement of expenses by the promoters contest.
Article 3 - Techniques admitted
The only techniques admitted are xylography and chalcography; all the photomechanical
reproductions and digital techniques are excluded.
Article 4 - Number of Ex Libris to be sent
Each participant may submit up to a maximum of five (5) different Ex Libris. Each Ex Libris must
be sent with three (3) copies; each one must be signed or initialled by the artist.
On the back of each Ex Libris, the following must be written in pencil: the title, the technique used,
the year of execution, the measure of the print, the artist’s name and surname, and nationality.

Article 5 - Size of paper and printing
The paper used for printing must not be bigger than 148x210 mm.
(A5), while the “printed” part must not be bigger than 140x140 mm.
Article 6 - Ways of sending the Ex Libris
The Ex Libris must be sent inside a solid and waterproof package, with the words “DO NOT
BEND” written on the envelope (or small package), by means of a registered letter or an insured
letter. Inside the package, the application form must be enclosed, filled out in a readable way, and
with the postal address and e-mail of the author together with a brief curriculum indicating
education and professional training, and the authorisation for processing personal data.
If the sending is done by means of a single shipment but containing the works of two or more
artists, each participant must fill in and sign the attached application form (which can be photocopied),
which implies the participation in the competition and the acceptance of the regulations.
Article 7 - Deadline for acceptance
The envelope containing the Ex Libris must be received no later than 31 July 2010 (the date of
postmark will attest it).
Article 8 - Delivery address
The shipment must be made to the following address:

Article 9 - Transfer of the rights to use the Ex Libris received
The material submitted for the contest will not be returned and will remain property of
Fondazione AEM, which will be allowed to use them freely and without having to ask
permission for its cultural activities.
By participating in the contest, the artist transfers all rights of publication and reproduction with
traditional and multimedia techniques of the Ex Libris sent to Fondazione AEM and the CRAEM,
as well as the rights to use them for exhibitions. For these events, the artist will not receive any
payment or rights, except for the right to information that Fondazione AEM and the CRAEM undertake to protect.
To this end, the artists must provide a constant update of their contact information.
Article 10 - Publication of the Ex Libris
The Ex Libris will be gathered in an offset-printed catalogue containing the works by the prizewinning and selected artists as well as those awarded an Honourable Mention, except the nonselected and the excluded by the technical panel. The catalogue will include a list of all the artists
who participated in the contest with their addresses. The artists included in the publication will
be given a free copy.
Article 11 - Exhibition of the Ex Libris
The prizewinning Ex Libris as well as the mentioned and the selected ones will be displayed in
an exhibition that will be held in Milan (Italy) on 22 October 2010, at the Casa dell’Energia,
Piazza Po 3, and that will then become a travelling exhibition in Valtellina.

Article 12 - Prizes and Recognition Awards
The prizes are subdivided into three different categories (Xylography, Chalcography and Special
Prize). There will be a selection of works by artists who deserve an Honourable Mention.

First prize € 1,500.00 - Second prize € 1,000.00 - Third prize € 800.00
PRIZE FOR CHALCOGRAPHY
First prize € 1,500.00 - Second prize € 1,000.00 - Third prize € 800.00
SPECIAL PRIZE € 2,500.00
It will be given to the artist selected among those who will have dealt with five (5) different
topics in as many works to illustrate the history of AEM. The five Ex Libris may be made by
using the same technique, or by alternating xylography and chalcography.
SPECIAL PRIZES FOR STUDENTS
The students may participate individually or as a group representing the institute they belong to.
The prizes for them are two, of the amount of € 1,000.00 each: one for xylography and the
other for chalcography.
The technical panel selected in agreement by the CRAEM and Fondazione AEM will point out-with
an unquestionable and irrevocable judgement, and without the possibility to complain about the
artists admitted-the prizewinning artists and the ones awarded an Honourable Mention. The winners
will have to pick up the prizes at their own expense.

Article 14 - Communication to the winners
The result of the competition will be communicated to the prizewinning and selected artists
within September 2010, and will be published on the websites of Fondazione AEM and of the
CRAEM. All the associations that belong to the Fédération Internationale des Sociétés
d’Amateurs d’Ex-Libris (FISAE) will receive a communication with the results of the competition.
Article 15 - Acceptance of the regulations for the competition
The participation in the competition implies the unconditioned acceptance of all the articles
in the regulations.

Artículo 1 - Temas
Los temas de los ex Libris deben estar relacionados al mundo de la producción de la
energía hidroeléctrica, la cual ha favorecido a la industrialización y ha mejorado las
condiciones y la calidad de vida de la población. Las obras deben hacer referencia a los
ambientes naturales en donde se ha desarrollado la historia de AEM, a la edificación en donde
se ha iniciado y ha continuado su actividad, a las históricas obras de iluminación realizadas en
ciudades italianas (Galería Vittorio Emanuele, Milán) y extranjeras (San Petersburgo), a las
personas - dirigentes y obreros - sin omitir referencias a los materiales, a los instrumentos y a
las maquinarias. En la composición del Ex Libris siempre debe estar presente la frase: ex
Libris Aem 1910-2010.

cartografía de la Valtellina
Panoramas y montañas de Stelvio y de lugares en la Valtellina, más precisamente, de la
provincia de Sondrio a lo largo del río Adda: Bormio, Grosio, Grosotto, Livigno, Lovero, Mazzo
di Valtellina, Sernio, Sondalo, Tirano, Tovo di Sant’Agata, Valdidentro, Valdisotto, Valfurva,
Vervio, Villa di Tirano y Morbegno.

Diques, cruces fluviales, obras de toma, cuencas hidroeléctricas, transporte por ductos,

Artículo 2 - Participantes
Al concurso pueden participar obras enviadas por artistas de cualquier nacionalidad. La participación es gratuita pero no contempla ningún reembolso por gastos de parte de los promotores del mismo.
Artículo 3 - Técnicas admitidas
Se admiten únicamente la xilografía y la calcografía; se excluyen todas las técnicas de
reproducción fotomecánica y digital.
Artículo 4 - Cantidad de Ex Libris a enviar
Cada participante puede enviar hasta un máximo de cinco (5) Ex Libris diferentes. De cada Ex
Libris tienen que llegar tres (3) copias, todas deben estar firmadas por el artista o con sus iniciales.
En la parte posterior de cada Ex Libris se debe indicar con lápiz: el título, la técnica utilizada, el
año de ejecución, la medida de la impresión, el apellido y el nombre del artista, y la nacionalidad.

Artículo 5 - Dimensión del papel y de la impresión
El papel utilizado para la impresión no debe superar la dimensión máxima de 148x210 mm.
(A5), mientras la parte “ilustrada” no debe superar la dimensión máxima de 140x140 mm.
Artículo 6 - Modo de envío
Los Ex Libris deben estar dentro de un paquete sólido e impermeable, escrito en la parte
exterior del sobre (o del pequeño paquete) “NO DOBLAR”, y el envío se debe realizar mediante
carta certificada con acuse de recibo o asegurada. El paquete debe contener el módulo de
participación completado de modo legible, incluyendo dirección postal, correo electrónico del
autor y un breve curriculum de formación académica y actividad profesional, y la autorización
al uso de sus datos personales.
Si se mandase el material mediante un único envío pero conteniendo los trabajos de dos o más
artistas, cada uno de ellos debe completar y firmar el módulo adjunto (puede ser fotocopiado)
que implica la participación y la aceptación de las normas del reglamento.
Artículo 7 - Fecha límite de recepción
El sobre con los Ex Libris debe llegar a más tardar el 31 de julio de 2010 (dará fe la fecha del
sello postal).
Artículo 8 - Dirección para el envío
El envío se debe realizar a la siguiente dirección:

Artículo 9 - Concesión de los derechos de uso de los Ex Libris enviados
El material enviado para el concurso no será restituido y permanecerá como propiedad de la
Fundación AEM, que podrá disponer de dicho material libremente y sin necesidad de solicitar
autorización para su propia actividad cultural.
Participando al concurso, el artista concede a la Fundación AEM y al CRAEM todos los derechos de publicación, reproducción con técnicas tradicionales y multimediales, de los Ex Libris
enviados, así como también los derechos de uso para actividades expositivas. Incluso para
estas iniciativas, el artista no recibirá ningún pago ni derecho de autor, excepto el derecho a la
información que la Fundación AEM y el CRAEM se comprometen a tutelar.
A tal fin, es obligación del artista suministrar una constante actualización de sus propias direcciones.
Artículo 10 - Publicación de los Ex Libris
Los Ex Libris serán incluidos en un catálogo impreso en Offset con las obras de los artistas
premiados, de los indicados y de los seleccionados, excepto los no seleccionados y los
excluidos por el jurado. El catálogo contendrá la lista de todos los artistas que hayan participado
al concurso con sus direcciones correspondientes. A los artistas incluidos en la publicación se
les donará una copia de la misma.
Artículo 11 - Exposición de los Ex Libris
Los Ex Libris premiados, mencionados y seleccionados serán exhibidos en una exposición que
se realizará en Milán (Italia) el 22 de octubre de 2010, en la Casa dell’Energia, Piazza Po 3,
y que luego será una muestra itinerante en la Valtellina.

Artículo 12 - Premios y Reconocimientos
Los premios asignados se subdividen en tres categorías diferentes (Xilografía, Calcografía,
Premio Especial). Se prevé la selección de las obras de artistas dignas de una mención.
PREMIO XILOGRAFÍA
Primer premio € 1.500,00 - Segundo premio € 1.000,00 - Tercer premio € 800,00
PREMIO CALCOGRAFIA
Primer premio € 1.500,00 - Segundo premio € 1.000,00 - Tercer premio € 800,00
PREMIO ESPECIAL € 2.500,00
Asignado al artista seleccionado entre aquellos que hayan tratado cinco (5) temas
diferentes en la misma cantidad de obras que ilustren la historia de AEM. Los cinco Ex Libris
se pueden realizar todos con la misma técnica, o bien, alternando la xilografía y la calcografía.
PREMIOS ESPECIALES A ESTUDIANTES
Los estudiantes pueden participar individualmente o como grupo del instituto al cual
representan.
Los premios previstos son dos, que amontan a € 1.000,00 cada uno: uno por xilografía y el
otro por calcografía.
El jurado seleccionado de común acuerdo entre el CRAEM y la Fundación AEM indicará - con juicio incuestionable e inapelable, y sin posibilidad de reclamos de los artistas admitidos - los artistas
ganadores y los artistas seleccionados por mención honorífica. El retiro de los premios estará totalmente a cargo de los ganadores.

Artículo 14 - Comunicación a los ganadores
Los resultados del concurso serán comunicados a los ganadores y a los mencionados dentro
del mes de septiembre de 2010 y serán publicados en el sitio de la Fundación AEM y del
CRAEM. Se comunicarán los resultados del concurso a todos las Asociaciones que forman
parte de la Fédération Internationale des Sociétés d’Amateurs d’Ex-Libris (F.I.S.A.E.).
Artículo 15 - Aceptación de las normas del concurso
La participación en el concurso implica la aceptación incondicional de todas las normas del reglamento.

Article 1 – Thèmes traités
Les thèmes des ex-Libris doivent avoir un rapport étroit avec le monde de la production
de l’énergie hydroélectrique qui a encouragé l’industrialisation et amélioré les conditions
et la qualité de vie de la population. Les œuvres doivent faire référence aux milieux naturels
dans lesquels l’histoire de l’AEM s’est développée, aux architectures dans lesquelles son
activité a débuté et s’est poursuivie, aux installations historiques d’éclairage réalisées dans des
villes italiennes (galerie Vittorio Emanuele, Milan), aux personnages - dirigeants et ouvriers -,
sans négliger les références aux matériels, aux outils et à la machinerie. Dans la composition
de l’Ex-Libris, la mention ex Libris Aem 1910-2010 doit toujours figurer.

Article 2 – Les participants
Les œuvres envoyées par des artistes de toute nationalité peuvent participer au concours.
La participation au concours est gratuite et ne prévoit aucun remboursement des frais de la part
des ses promoteurs.
Article 3 – Techniques admises
Seules la xylographie et la chalcographie sont acceptées ; toute technique de reproduction photomécanique ou digitale sera exclue.
Article 4 – Nombre d’Ex-Libris à envoyer
Chaque participant peut envoyer au maximum cinq (5) Ex-Libris différents. Chaque Ex-Libris doit
parvenir en trois (3) exemplaires qui doivent tous être signés ou paraphés par l’artiste. Sur le
recto de chaque Ex-Libris, doivent être indiqués au crayon son titre, la technique employée,
l’année d’exécution, la mesure de la surface imprimée, le nom de famille et le prénom de l’artiste ainsi que sa nationalité.

Article 5 – Dimension de la feuille et l’impression
La feuille utilisée pour l’impression ne doit pas surpasser les dimensions maximales de 148x210 mm
(A5), tandis que la partie « figurative » ne doit pas surpasser les dimensions maximales de 140x140 mm.
Article 6 – Modalités d’envoi
Les Ex-Libris doivent être placés dans un emballage solide et imperméable, en indiquant la
mention « NE PAS PLIER » à l’extérieur de l’enveloppe (ou du petit paquet), et expédiés en
recommandé avec accusé de réception ou en recommandé assuré. Le formulaire d’inscription,
rempli lisiblement et notifiant l’adresse postale, l’adresse courrielle de l’auteur ainsi qu’un bref
curriculum vitae mentionnant la formation et la profession de celui-ci et l’autorisation à l’usage
et la divulgation de ses renseignements personnels, devra être inséré à l‘intérieur de l’emballage.
Au cas où une expédition unique contienne le matériel de deux ou plus artistes, chacun d’eux
devra compiler et signer le formulaire joint (pouvant aussi être photocopié) qui implique la
participation et l’acceptation stipulations du présent règlement.
Article 7 – Date limite d’acceptation
L’enveloppe contenant les Ex-Libris doit parvenir au plus tard le 31 juillet 2010 (l’oblitération
faisant foi de la date).

Le matériel envoyé pour le concours ne sera pas restitué et restera la propriété de la Fondation
AEM qui pourra en disposer librement et sans demander une autorisation pour sa propre
activité culturelle. En participant à ce concours, l’artiste cède à la Fondation AEM et au CRAEM
tous les droits de publication, de reproduction au moyen de techniques traditionnelles ou

d’activités liées à des expositions. Même pour ce qui concerne ces initiatives, aucune rémunération
ou aucun droit ne sont dus à l’artiste, sauf le droit à l’information que la Fondation AEM et le
CRAEM s’engagent à respecter.
Dans ce but, l’artiste doit fournir une mise à jour constante de l’adresse où il peut être joignable.
Article 10 – Publication des Ex-Libris
Les Ex-Libris seront rassemblés dans un catalogue imprimé en offset qui contiendra les œuvres
des artistes primés, signalés avec mention honorifique ou sélectionnés, à l’exception de ceux
qui n’ont pas été sélectionnés ou qui ont été exclus par le jury. Le catalogue contiendra la liste
de tous les artistes ayant participé au concours ainsi que leurs adresses. Les artistes insérés
dans cet ouvrage recevront gracieusement un exemplaire de celui-ci.
Article 11 – Exposition des Ex-Libris
Les Ex-Libris primés, signalés ou sélectionnés, seront présentés dans une exposition qui se
tiendra à Milan (Italie) le 22 octobre 2010 à la Casa dell’Energia, Piazza Po 3, et qui sera ensuite itinérante dans la Valteline.

Article 12 – Prix et Mentions honorifiques
Les prix se partagent en trois catégories distinctes (Xylographie, Chalcographie, Prix Spécial).
Les œuvres des artistes dignes de mention honorifique seront signalées.

Il sera décerné à l’artiste choisi parmi ceux qui auront traité cinq (5) thèmes différents dans
autant d’œuvres qui auront illustré l’histoire de AEM. Les cinq Ex-Libris peuvent être tous
exécutés avec la même technique, ou bien peuvent alterner la xylographie et la chalcographie.
PRIX SPECIAUX ETUDIANTS
Les étudiants peuvent participer individuellement ou ensemble avec la classe de
l’établissement d’appartenance. Il est prévu de décerner deux prix, d’un montant de 1 000,00
€ chacun, l’un pour la xylographie et l’autre pour la chalcographie.
Le jury, sélectionné par le CRAEM et par la Fondation AEM en commun accord, nommera, avec
un jugement définitif et sans appel, et sans aucune possibilité de contestation, les artistes admis,
les artistes primés et les artistes sélectionnés avec mention honorifique. Les prix seront retirés
entièrement à la charge des lauréats.

Article 14 – Communication aux lauréats
Les résultats du concours seront communiqués aux artistes primés et aux artistes signalés
dans le courant du mois de septembre 2010 et seront publiés sur le site Internet de la Fondation
AEM et du CRAEM. Les résultats du concours seront communiqués à toutes les Associations
faisant partie de la Fédération Internationale des Sociétés d’Amateurs d’Ex-Libris (FISAE).
Article 15 – Acceptation des règles du concours
La participation au concours implique l’acceptation inconditionnelle de toutes les stipulations du présent
règlement.

Artikel 1 – Themen
die themen für die exlibris müssen mit der Welt der erzeugung der Wasserkraft in
zusammenhang stehen, welche die industrialisierung gefördert und die Lebensbedingungen
der bevölkerung verbessert hat. Die Werke sollen auf die natürlichen Umgebungen Bezug
nehmen, wo sich die Geschichte der AEM abgespielt hat, auf die Bauten, in denen ihre
Tätigkeit begonnen hat und weitergeführt wird, auf die historischen Beleuchtungsmaßnahmen
in italienischen (Beleuchtung der Galerie Vittorio Emanuele in Mailand) und ausländischen
Städten (Sankt Petersburg), auf besondere Persönlichkeiten – leitende Persönlichkeiten wie
auch Arbeiter –, ohne dabei Materialien, Werkzeuge und Maschinen außer Acht zu lassen.
Es muss außerdem immer der Schriftzug „ex Libris Aem 1910-2010“ erscheinen.

Panoramen und Berge am Stilfser Joch sowie Örtlichkeiten aus dem Veltlin-Tal in der Provinz

Sernio, Sondalo, Tirano, Tovo di Sant’Agata, Valdidentro, Valdisotto, Valfurva, Vervio, Villa di
Tirano und Morbegno.

Deiche, Flusssperren, Einlaufbauwerke, Wasserkraftbecken, Druckleitungen, Wasserkraftwerke,

unter bezug auf die in vorliegender Wettbewerbsordnung abgedruckten bilder oder auf

Artikel 2 – Teilnehmer
Am Wettbewerb können Werke von Künstlern aller Nationalitäten teilnehmen. Die Teilnahme
am Wettbewerb ist kostenlos. Es ist keine Kostenrückerstattung durch die Träger des
Wettbewerbs vorgesehen.
Artikel 3 – Zugelassene Techniken
Als Techniken sind ausschließlich Holzschnitt und Stich (auf Kupfer, Zink, Stahl oder anderem
Metall) zugelassen. Ausgeschlossen sind alle Techniken der photomechanischen und digitalen
Reproduktion.
Artikel 4 – Anzahl der Exlibris, die eingeschickt werden können
Jeder Teilnehmer kann höchstens fünf (5) verschiedene Exlibris einschicken. Von jedem Exlibris
müssen drei (3) Exemplare eingeschickt werden, die alle vom Künstler unterschrieben oder
gezeichnet sein müssen. Auf der Rückseite von jedem Exlibris müssen die nachstehenden
Angaben (mit Bleistift) erscheinen: Titel, Technik, Jahr der Ausführung, Abmessungen des
Drucks, Name und Vorname des Künstlers, Nationalität.

Artikel 5 – Abmessungen von Trägerpapier und Druck
Das für den Druck verwendete Papier darf die Abmessungen von 148x210 mm (DIN A5)
nicht überschreiten, während die Höchstabmessungen für die eigentliche „Abbildung“ 140x140 mm
betragen.
Artikel 6 – Art des Versands
Die Exlibris müssen in einem festen, wasserundurchlässigen Umschlag (oder Päckchen)
verpackt sein, der/das mit der Aufschrift „NON PIEGARE / NICHT KNICKEN!“ versehen ist.
Das Werk ist per Einschreiben mit Rückschein oder als versicherte Sendung einzuschicken.
Dem Umschlag/Päckchen muss das gut leserlich ausgefüllte Teilnahmeformular beiliegen mit:
Post- und E-Mail-Anschrift des Künstlers wie auch ein kurzer Lebenslauf mit Angaben zum
Ausbildungs- und Berufsweg und die Einwilligung zur Verarbeitung personenbezogener Daten.
Wenn in einem einzigen Umschlag (Päckchen) das Material von zwei oder mehr Künstlern
zugeschickt wird, muss jeder von ihnen das beiliegende Formular ausfüllen und unterzeichnen
(auch fotokopiert), denn dadurch erfolgt die Teilnahme und Annahme der Wettbewerbsordnung.
Artikel 7 – Einsendeschluss
Der Umschlag (das Päckchen) mit den Exlibris muss spätestens bis zum 31. Juli 2010 (Datum
des Poststempels) eintreffen.
Artikel 8 – Adresse zum Einschicken des Materials
Das Material ist an nachstehende Adresse einzuschicken:

Artikel 9 – Abtretung der Rechte zur Nutzung der eingeschickten Exlibris
Das zum Wettbewerb eingeschickte Material wird nicht zurück gegeben und wird Eigentum der
Stiftung Fondazione AEM, die frei darüber verfügen kann, ohne Genehmigungen für ihre
kulturellen Tätigkeiten einholen zu müssen. Mit der Teilnahme am Wettbewerb tritt der Künstler
alle Rechte zur Veröffentlichung der eingeschickten Exlibris, zu ihrer Reproduktion mit
traditionellen und multimedialen Techniken wie auch die Rechte zur Ausstellung der Werke an
die Stiftung Fondazione AEM und an die CRAEM ab. Auch im Rahmen der genannten
Initiativen stehen dem Künstler keine Vergütungen oder Rechte zu, außer dem Recht auf
Information, zu dem sich die Stiftung Fondazione AEM und die CRAEM verpflichten.
Daher ist der Künstler gehalten, etwaige Adressenänderungen bekannt zu geben.
Artikel 10 – Veröffentlichung der Exlibris
Die Exlibris werden in einem im Offset-Druck erstellten Katalog zusammengestellt, der die Werke
der preisgekrönten und der ehrenvoll erwähnten sowie ausgewählten Künstler enthalten wird.
Ausgeschlossen sind nur die nicht ausgewählten und die eventuell von der Jury ausgeschlossenen
Werke. Der Katalog wird auch das Verzeichnis aller Künstler (mit Anschrift) enthalten, die am
Wettbewerb teilgenommen haben. Die in der Veröffentlichung genannten Künstler werden jeweils
ein Exemplar derselben erhalten.
Artikel 11 – Ausstellung der Exlibris
Die preisgekrönten, ehrenvoll erwähnten wie auch ausgewählten Exlibris werden im Rahmen
einer Ausstellung gezeigt werden, welche am 22. Oktober 2010, in der Casa dell’Energia,
Piazza Po 3 in Mailand, stattfinden und dann als Wanderausstellung im Veltlin-Tal zu sehen
sein wird.

Artikel 12 – Preise und Auszeichnungen
Die Preise werden in drei verschiedenen Kategorien verliehen (Holzschnitt; Stich – auf Kupfer,
Zink, Stahl oder anderem Metall –; Sonderpreis). Darüber hinaus ist auch die ehrenvolle
Erwähnung vorgesehen.

Dieser Preis wird an einen Künstler unter denen verliehen, die die Geschichte der AEM mit
fünf verschiedenen Werken und Themen illustriert haben. Die fünf Exlibris dürfen dabei alle
mit derselben Technik ausgeführt sein oder aber auch abwechselnd als Holzschnitt und Stich.
SONDERPREIS FÜR SCHÜLER
Schüler können einzeln oder als Klassen bestimmter Schulen/Institute teilnehmen. Vorgesehen
sind zwei Preise zu jeweils 1.000,00 €, einer für Holzschnitte, der andere für Stiche.
Die im gemeinsamen Einverständnis von CRAEM und der Stiftung Fondazione AEM ausgewählte Jury
wird entscheiden, welche Künstler zugelassen werden, welche einen Preis gewinnen und welche eine
ehrenvoll erwähnt werden. Das Urteil der Jury ist unanfechtbar und es kann kein Einspruch
dagegen eingelegt werden. Die Kosten für das Abholen der Preise gehen zu Lasten der Gewinner.
Artikel 13 – Die Jury

Artikel 14 – Benachrichtigung der Gewinner
Die Ergebnisse des Wettbewerbs werden den Gewinnern und den Künstlern mit einer
ehrenvollen Erwähnung binnen September 2010 mitgeteilt und auf der Website der Stiftung
Fondazione AEM und CRAEM veröffentlicht. Außerdem werden auch alle Vereinigungen, die zur
Fédération Internationale des Sociétés d’Amateurs d’Ex-Libris (F.I.S.A.E.) gehören, bezüglich
der Ergebnisse benachrichtigt.
Artikel 15 – Annahme der Wettbewerbsbedingungen
Zur Teilnahme am Wettbewerb müssen die entsprechenden Bedingungen vorbehaltlos
angenommen werden.
