MEDITAZIONE DETTATA IN OCCASIONE DI UNA PRIMA MESSA (Karl Rahner, Sul sacerdozio) Nella prima messa si compie un sacrificio tutto particolare dell'eterno rendimento di grazie. Celebriamo infatti il momento in cui un uomo, consacrato prete di Gesù Cristo, compie per la prima volta ciò che d'ora in poi, con sublime, divina monotonia, dovrà compiere tutti i giorni della sua vita... Come popolo dei redenti in Gesù Cristo, noi presentiamo sugli altari della Chiesa il sacrificio della Nuova Alleanza. Anche in un giorno come questo, non possiamo far niente di più di quello che facciamo sempre. Si compie infatti qualcosa che è così alto da non essere suscettibile di reale accrescimento: si fa presente in mezzo a noi il Signore di tutti i secoli, il cuore del mondo e, insieme, l'azione del suo amore che muove le stelle e tutto accoglie nella gloria di Dio. E tuttavia nella prima messa si compie un sacrificio tutto particolare dell'eterno rendimento di grazie. Celebriamo infatti il momento in cui un uomo, consacrato prete di Gesù Cristo, compie per la prima volta ciò che d'ora in poi, con sublime, divina monotonia, dovrà compiere tutti i giorni della sua vita, finché un giorno la sua vita intera sarà consumata in quel sacrificio, che egli celebra ogni giorno e nella cui accettazione soltanto tutta la realtà terrena trova la propria accettazione nell'infinita maestà di Dio. Perché celebriamo solennemente questo giorno? Forse che la Chiesa vuol indurre i suoi fedeli a concedere, per così dire, anticipati allori ad un giovane, il quale non ha fatto ancora niente altro che offrire a Dio il suo cuore e la sua vita, mentre sarebbe lecito glorificare solo il sacrificio interamente compiuto? No, noi non celebriamo un uomo: celebriamo solo il sacerdozio di Gesù Cristo. Celebriamo la Chiesa, tutta la Chiesa di tutti i redenti, i santificati, i chiamati alla vita eterna: quella di cui noi tutti facciamo parte, sia che siamo preti o 'soltanto' credenti e santificati. Poiché noi tutti apparteniamo all'unico Corpo del Cristo in modo tale che ciò che ad uno viene concesso di grazia, dignità e potenza è grazia ed elevazione per tutti, ed in maniera tale che nel servizio e nella vocazione di uno si manifesta la santa dignità di tutti. PREGHIERE DEL CRISTIANO - Raccolta di preghiere di religione cattolica, a cui i cristiani si rivolgono per chiedere aiuto a nostro Signore. A cosa serve pregare? La preghiera è una relazione con Dio, e pregando si è vicini al Signore. La preghiera deve essere una parte importante della nostra vita, perchè non si può non stare lontani da chi ci ama. La preghiera ci mette in contatto con Dio, in cambio dal Signore riceviamo una grande sensazione di pace e serenità. Imparare a pregare è importante come imparare a camminare, più cresciamo e più diventeremo bravi a pregare e crescendo ci accorgeremo che pregare sarà il momento più bello della nostra giornata. Non è importante come si recita la preghiera, possiamo dirla anche con parole nostre, questo ci aiuterà a crescere spiritualmente e avvicinarci sempre di più a Gesù. La nostra vita diventa bellissima quando incontriamo la persona che il Signore ci ha donato, questo deve succedere anche tra noi e Dio. Page 7 St. Athanasius Church July 26, 2015 XVII DOMINGO DEL TIEMPO ORDINARIO La multitude se maravillaba cuando veía que Jesús curaba a los enfermos y la gente lo seguía por todas partes. Que significarían estas señales? Quien era este Jesús? Jesús sabía que la gente que lo seguía tenía necesidades físicas y espirituales. Por su gran amor y compasión , realizó el milagro de la multiplicación de los panes y los peces como señal de su identidad. Viendo las doce canastas de lo que habia sobrado , querían llevarse a Jesús para hacerlo Rey. Pero Jesús no quería ser conocido como hacedor de milagros ni como el líder político enviado a liberar a los judíos de la opresión romana . La multiplicación de los panes y los peces era una señal que demostraba que Jesús era el hijo de Dios. El Señor quería que esta señal les hiciera ver la inmensidad de su amor , amor que finalmente quedaría ratificado en su muerte en la Cruz. Cristo desea obrar constantemente en nuestra vida y acercarnos al Padre. Su obra es generosa y rebosante de amor,por que el Señor sabe lo que es mejor para nuestro bienestar espiritual. Y nosotros , como le responderemos? Que esperamos de él? Lo buscamos solo para que satisfaga nuestras necesidades personales y terrenales, o vemos que tambien desea atender nuestras necesidades espirituales mas profundas ? Sabemos que él quiere darnos la vida eterna, es decir la vida del mundo venidero? Este milagro de la multiplicación de los panes debería hacernos ver que Jesús es el Salvador y el Señor y que su voluntad para nosotros se proyecta mucho mas allá de este mundo fisico. Queridos hermanos , pidamosle al Espiritu Santo que nos haga conocer personalmente a Cristo hoy y nos de un Corazón puro que desee llenarse de él. The form is available in the rectory or can be downloaded from our website. We even have an E-form so you complete this form without writing. Just e-mail it back to us, or print it out and drop it off. All Requests must be made using our form. E-mail completed form to AnnaMarie Scuteri at [email protected]. This is the ONLY way to reserve a room here at St. A's. The group listed on the parish calendar is the group that has the right to use that space. If you are not a designated ministry of our parish, permission must be granted from our Pastor, Msgr. Cassato, a rental fee is paid, and a lease agreement completed in Sunday Bulletin Deadlines The Sunday Bulletin must be e-mailed to our printer by 10a.m. Monday. All announcements must be submitted in WRITTEN form only (handwritten, typed, computer, fax, e-mailed, etc) by 3p.m. Friday. Announcements received after the deadline will be published the following week. No one on the parish staff will assume the responsibility for your ministry’s articles. Include your bulletin articles in your advance planning for your event. All Flyers need to be approved by a staff member and submitted by Email only to [email protected].
