Company Profile
Founded in the Sixties, Toto Costruzioni Generali is the main company of Toto Group.
As a General Contractor, Toto Costruzioni is among the largest companies for road and railway
infrastructures construction in Italy. It has a solid experience on complex, high-tech
infrastructural construction projects.
Its core competencies are: bridge construction, tunnelling (both TBM and drill and blast methods)
pre casting activity and special foundation.
The history of this company has been marked by a constant drive for technological innovation and
reliability in the completion of projects, thus making Toto a crucial actor in the Italian
infrastructural network enhancement over the last decades.
Such an expertise, acquired over years of planning, pushed the Group to create a fully owned
engineering firm, InfraEngineering, allowing Toto to gain a complete control over each project,
from the design to the construction.
An ever growing path of industrial development brought the Group to manage a major motorway
concession, committing Toto to the maintenance of a crucial network, Strada dei Parchi (A24-A25
routes), the only direct link of Italian east coast with Rome, a complex infrastructure crossing a
largely mountainous tract and ending with a 14km urban section through the densely populated
suburbs of Rome.
The Group carried on its diversification looking to new strategic markets, such as the renewable
energy market, operating since 2009 as EPC, thus acquiring control over the entire lifecycle of
every project. More recently Toto Group made its debut into the railway transport business, with
RailOne.
