The event is organized with the sponsorship of the Region of Veneto, of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Province of Verona and the Chamber of Commerce of Verona, the collaboration of the Provincial Breeders Association of Brescia and of the Centro Fiera del Garda di Montichiari, following the agreement of mutual collaboration and the combined organization of events and exhibitions undertaken last year between Veronafiere and Centro Fiera di Montichiari. The Dairy Show is indeed an extraordinary event, whereby cows of great quality participate, national and international champions, the jewels of European Holstein genetics, by now decidedly ready for the competition with the traditionally great North American genetics. For this edition we have received enrollments from numerous Italian breeders, (we have already received enrollments from 20 provinces from Northern and Central Italy), increased participation from Spain and from Great Britain. We are not yet able to provide the exact numbers, since registration is still open ( the deadline is mid-January). On the 7th and 8th of February, in ocassion of the Dairy Show 2008, ANAFI has organized the 1st Edition of the Junior Show, which will run according to the following programme: Thursday, February 7th JUNIOR SHOW 10:00 a.m. 2:30 p.m. 4:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m. Clipping contest Judging of the clipping contest Category appraisals Competition between the Dairy Clubs Other recreational activities will also take place throughout the day. We like to think that in our city, also thanks to our contribution, men and women, boys and girls from all over Europe, even though of different languages, share in the days of the Exhibition the same emotions, the same passion, the same will to be present and participate. There aren’t any barriers when there is passion!
