Quello che mi ha sempre entusiasmato é la possibilità di creare con le mie mani manufatti unici di elevata qualità, con
una particolare attenzione alle nuove tecnologie e alla riqualificazione formativa. L’innovazione e gli aggiornamenti
continui accompagnati dall’intraprendenza, dalla creatività e da un clima sereno sono da sempre la filosofia del mio

you into our world to show you what characterizes our daily work for you and for us.
What I have always been thrilled at is the opportunity to make exclusive high quality handmade articles, paying
particular attention to new technologies and upgrading trainings. Innovation and continuous updates together with
initiative, creativity and a quiet atmosphere have always been the philosophy of my work group. A continuous
evolution and the search for more and more excellent beauty and functionality have led us to know and work skillfully

Zirconium is one of the oldest and widespread materials in the
earth’s crust obtained mainly from zircon. Zirconium oxide or
zirconia, which is obtained from this element, is a high functional
material that has already been used by the orthopedic hip
surgery for more than twenty years. This material has now been
introduced also into odontology to make dental prosthesis.
Thanks to its excellent biocompatibility the zirconium oxide is
considered to be one of the best products on the market for
modern dental prosthesis.

Lo zirconio è uno dei materiali più antichi e diffusi nella crosta
terrestre, ottenuto principalmente dallo zircone. Da questo
elemento si ricava l’ossido di zirconio o zirconia, un materiale di
altissimo rendimento già utilizzato da più di vent’anni nel settore
ortopedico per la chirurgia dell’anca. Questo materiale è stato
ora introdotto anche nel settore odontoiatrico per la realizzazione

Grazie al colore chiaro della zirconia con il passare
del tempo non si formano antiestetici bordi neri
dovuti al ritiro delle gengive, come invece avviene
spesso con l’uso di metalli nei restauri odontoiatrici.

absolutely devoid of metal, causes no allergy or symptoms
of incompatibility in the oral cavity, but it gives a pleasant
and comfortable sensation.
Furthermore it is particularly compatible with the mucosa
and the tissues. It protects the nerves, as it transmits heat
and cold more slowly than a dental restoration made of
metal. Thanks to its easy cleaning this material prevents the
diseases of the periodontium.

Lo zircone (ZrSiO4) è un materiale appartenente alla classe
dei silicati. Il biossido di zirconio (ZrO2) è un composto
dell’elemento zircone esistente in natura ed è utilizzato
dalla metà degli anni 1990 nel campo odontotecnico. Nel
linguaggio comune è chiamato ossido di zirconio o più
semplicemente zirconia.
La zirconia ci permette di realizzare qualsiasi restauro
dentale.
La zirconia ottiene la sua durezza e la sua resistenza finale
solo passando attraverso questo processo di cottura ad
alta temperatura.
Per ottenere un’ottima biocompatibilità, solidità e resistenza
è richiesta e necessaria la purezza del composto iniziale.
La materia prima che utiliziamo nel nostro laboratorio si
distingue per l’elevata durezza e biocompatibilità, quindi
per un’alta comodità una volta inserita in bocca.

La polvere di zirconia viene raffinata tramite un processo
speciale e successivamente pressata in blocchi.
Zircon (ZrSiO4) is a material that belongs to the group
of silicates. Zirconium dioxide (ZrO2) is a compound of
zirconium occurring in nature and it has been used by
dental technicians since the mid-1990s.
Il restauro dentale viene poi fresato nella forma desiderata
partendo dal blocco di zirconia ancora “morbido” e cotto in
un apposito forno di sinterizzazione a 1500°C, all ‘interno
del laboratorio odontotecnico.
It is commonly called zirconium oxide or only zirconia.
Zirconia allows us to make any dental restorations.
GENERALITÀ
Types of zirconia
The zirconia powder is refined through a
special process and then pressed in blocks.
The dental restoration is then milled in the
desired form starting from a “soft” block of
zirconia and baked up to 1500°C in a special
sinter at the dental laboratory.
Zirconia gets its hardness and its final
strength thanks to this cooking process at
high temperature.
To get excellent biocompatibility, strength and
resistance the purity of the initial compound is
necessarily required.
The raw material that we use in our laboratory
is characterized by a high hardness and
biocompatibility and then by a high comfort
when placed into the mouth.
