11th December 2014 Final event GLOVE (joint GaliLeo Optimization and VANET Enhancement) is an EU FP7 project - Grant Agreement 287175 Website: http://www.glove-fp7.eu GLOVE is the name of a European project which has explored novel architectures and services for the integration between Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), especially the European Galileo system, and Vehicular ad-hoc Networks (VANETs). After two intense years, the project has come to its end, achieving both scientific and practical results. The Consortium is ready to present the emerged ideas about how GNSS (time and position) could be beneficial to VANETs, how VANETs could be beneficial to GNSS receivers and what services could be delivered thanks to GNSS and VANETs. welcome coffee 09:30 Registration Welcome Speech (Dr. Giovanni Colombo – Director of ISMB) Galileo Plans (Alberto Fernandez - Wyttenbach – GSA) GLOVE: Overview and Results (Riccardo Scopigno – ISMB) Presentation of GLOVE Demos (Giuliana Zennaro – CRF) OBUg: Local integrity (DAVIDE Margaria – ISMB) OBUg: Heat Maps and Mutual Positioning (Tankut Acarman - GAL) Coffee Break 11:30 OBUg: Galileo Time in Real Conditions (Jerzy Nawrocki – SRC) OBUv: Position in VANETs (Bernhard Kloiber – DLR) OBUv: Time in Wireless Networks (Riccardo Scopigno – ISMB) v OBU : On-Board Services Based on Galileo (Ali Ufuk Peker – IFT) lunch 13:00 11:00|16:30 Outdoor Demos 14:00|16:30 indoor Demos In the ISMB’s area Corso Castelfidardo, 30/a – Torino c/o SITI - Istituto Superiore sui Sistemi Territoriali per l’Innovazione consortium
