Loch Ness and the Monster • Loch Ness is a famous lake where legend says a big monster lives. The monster’s name is Nessie. • Every year many people visit Loch Ness to try and see Nessie. Scottish Football • Scottish has its own football championship. Great Britain is the only country to have three national football teams. Kilt • The famous “kilt” is the national dress of Scotland. A kilt is a short skirt of tartan. Tartan is usually green, red and blue. Scottish Literature Robert Burns Burns was a farmer but he became famous for poetry. He wrote many love poems.
