QM 2017 in Italy
• Last time Italy organized QM: 1999, in Torino
• After 2014 (Darmstadt) and 2015 (to be decided here in
Washington) the Italian HI community would like to propose
Italy as the host of the following edition (2017)
• Possible locations:
• In Bologna using the ancient halls of the university (as
presented by L. Cifarelli in Annecy)
• In Bologna using Theater Manzoni and University
Belmeloro campus
• In Lago di Garda , Congress center Parchi del Garda
• In Lago di Como , Congress center Villa Erba
• + few other possibilities under evaluation

• If this committee will encourage for QM2017 in Italy, the
Italian groups will evaluate in details the options here
presented and will also search for possible alternatives
along the suggestions from the committee.
• Next year the official proposal will be presented hoping for
the final approval .
