The United Kingdom
of Great Britain and
Northern Ireland is a union of
four countries: England, Scotland,
Wales, and Northern Ireland.

people. It has helped to protect Britain
from invasion, and has given the people
a feeling of security. Nowadays a big
tunnel joins England to the rest of
Europe
