¡PELIGRO DE MUERTE! Las pilas y baterías pueden suponer peligro de muerte por ingestión. Mantenga las pilas y
baterías fuera del alcance de los niños. En caso de ingestión de una
pila o batería se debe solicitar asistencia médica inmediatamente.

¡Nunca recargue las pilas!
Retire inmediatamente las pilas usadas del aparato. ¡Existe un alto
riesgo de sulfatación!
¡Las pilas no deben desecharse junto con la basura doméstica!
¡Todos los usuarios están obligados por ley a desechar las pilas de
forma adecuada!
Mantenga las pilas lejos del alcance de los niños, no las tire al fuego,
ni las cortocircuite, ni intente desmontarlas.
Si no presta atención a estas indicaciones, la pila podría descargarse
más allá de su tensión ﬁnal. En este caso existe riesgo de sulfatación.
En caso de que la pila se sulfate dentro del aparato, sáquela inmediatamente para evitar daños en el mismo.
Evite el contacto con la piel, ojos y mucosas. Si entra en contacto con
el ácido de la pila, lave la parte afectada con abundante agua y / o
consulte a un médico.

Manejo
Modo horario
Para acceder al modo horario, mantenga pulsado el botón MODE 1
hasta que aparezca la indicación “TIME”.
Pulsando el botón SELECT en el módulo horario puede alternar entre
las siguientes funciones:
– hora (TIME)
– alarma (ALARM)
– cuenta atrás (TIMER)
Hora (TIME)
En el modo horario, mantenga pulsado el botón SELECT 2 hasta
que se muestre la indicación “TIME”.
En el modo horario se muestra en la parte superior de la pantalla el año y
en la parte inferior el día de la semana y la fecha.

Ajuste de la hora (T1)
Presione el botón SET 3 y manténgalo presionado durante aprox.
3 segundos. En la pantalla se muestra “HOLD TO SET” y el formato
de hora “24H” comienza a parpadear.
Pulse el botón SELECT 2 para seleccionar el formato de 12 o 24 horas.
Presione la tecla SET para conﬁrmar la entrada. El segundero
comienza a parpadear.
Pulse el botón SELECT 2 para poner a cero el segundero.
Conﬁrme la entrada presionando el botón SET 3 .
Nota: puede mantener pulsado el botón SELECT para cambiar los
ajustes más rápidamente.
Pulse el botón SELECT para ajustar el minutero.
Conﬁrme la entrada pulsando el botón SET .
Ajuste las horas, el año, el mes y el día de forma análoga. La indicación de la unidad de medida comienza a parpadear a continuación.
Pulse el botón SELECT para ajustar la unidad de medida deseada
(METRIC = sistema métrico / IMPERIAL = sistema británico).
Pulse el botón MODE 1 . Todos los ajustes quedan guardados.
Segunda hora (T2)
Pulse el botón SELECT 2 y manténgalo presionado durante aprox.
3 segundos. La segunda hora (T2) se muestra en la parte inferior de
la pantalla.

Para ajustar la segunda hora (T2), proceda igual que para ajustar la
primera hora (T1) (véase el capítulo “Ajuste de la hora (T1)”).
Pulse el botón SELECT y manténgalo pulsado durante aproximadamente
3 segundos. La indicación horaria muestra nuevamente la hora normal (T1).
Alarma
Existen cinco avisos de alarma individuales, los cuales se pueden activar o
desactivar individualmente. Cada alarma se puede ajustar para cuatro
ﬁnalidades diferentes.
a) alarma en una fecha concreta (alarma a las 10:00 h.
del día 19 de junio) (A1)
b) alarma diaria en un mes concreto (alarma diaria a las
10:00 h. en junio) (A2)
c) alarma mensual (alarma a las 10:00 h. el 19 de
cada mes) (A3)
d) alarma diaria (alarma diaria a las 10:00 h.) (A4)
e) alarma cada hora (alarma cada hora en punto) (A5)

Cuando la alarma se encuentra activada, a la hora ajustada se escuchará
una alarma durante 30 segundos.
Nota: pulse el botón SELECT 2 , el botón SET 3 o el botón LIGHT 4
para detener la señal de alarma. De lo contrario la alarma se repetirá en
cuatro ocasiones en intervalos de 2 minutos.
Cuando se activa la alarma horaria, a las horas en punto se escuchará un
pitido doble.

Ajuste la alarma de la siguiente manera:
En el modo horario, mantenga pulsado el botón SELECT 2 hasta
que se muestre la indicación “ALARM”.
Pulse el botón SET 3 para alternar entre los avisos de alarma A1 a
A5.
Mantenga pulsado el botón SET para acceder al ajuste de la alarma
seleccionada.
Pulse nuevamente el botón SET para realizar los ajustes.
Pulse el botón MODE 1 para guardar los ajustes.

Nota: la alarma ajustada se rige según la hora actual seleccionada
(T1 o T2).
Temporizador
El reloj dispone de un temporizador con cuenta atrás y un temporizador
con cuenta progresiva.
Ajuste básico: 0.01.00 (1 minuto)
En el modo horario, mantenga pulsado el botón SELECT 2 hasta
que se muestre la indicación “TIMER”.
Pulse el botón SET 3 hasta que aparezca la indicación “HOLD TO
SET” y se pueda ajustar la cuenta atrás.
Pulse el botón SELECT para ajustar los minutos. Pulse el botón SET
para acceder al siguiente ajuste (horas).
Pulse el botón SELECT para ajustar las horas. Pulse el botón SET para
acceder al siguiente ajuste “Cd r”.
Se puede ajustar una cuenta atrás con una duración máxima de 23
horas y 59 minutos.
Conﬁrme el ajuste pulsando el botón MODE 1 .

Tipos de temporizador:
r: El temporizador comienza la cuenta atrás con el tiempo ajustado
hasta llegar a cero.
U: El temporizador comienza a contar ascendentemente desde cero una
vez alcanzado el valor cero.
S: El temporizador se detiene una vez alcanzado el valor cero.
Para los tres tipos de temporizadores es válido lo siguiente:
Presione el botón SET 3 . El temporizador se inicia.
Vuelva a pulsar el botón SET. El temporizador se detiene.
Vuelva a pulsar el botón SET. El temporizador prosigue con el conteo.
Presione nuevamente la tecla SET y manténgala presionada durante
aprox. 3 segundos. De esta forma, el temporizador se resetea al valor
original ajustado.
Cuando el temporizador alcanza el valor cero se escuchará una
señal de alarma durante 15 segundos. Pulse los botones SELECT 2 ,
SET 3 o MODE 1 para detener la señal de alarma.
Modo cronómetro
Para acceder al modo cronómetro, pulse el botón MODE 1 hasta
que aparezca la indicación “CHRONO”.
En el modo cronómetro puede seleccionar las siguientes subfunciones:

Pulse el botón SET 3 para iniciar / detener el cronómetro.

Pulse el botón SELECT 2 , para memorizar el tiempo de una vuelta
mientras el cronómetro avanza.
Nota: se pueden memorizar 99 vueltas. Cuando la memoria de vueltas está completa se muestra en la pantalla la indicación “MEMORY
FULL” (memoria llena).
Nota: entre “CHRONO” y “DATA RECALL” solo se puede conmutar
si se ha memorizado / detenido al menos una vuelta.
Mantenga pulsado el botón SET 3 para poner a cero el cronómetro
y el contador de vueltas.

Visualizar la memoria del cronómetro

Pulse el botón SELECT 2 para acceder al modo de consulta de
registros. En la pantalla se muestra “BEST LAP” y los registros de las
MEJORES VUELTAS.
Pulse el botón SET para consultar las diferentes memorias de vueltas.
Pulse el botón SELECT para abandonar el modo de consulta de
registros.

En la segunda ﬁla aparece una ﬂecha que indica el camino más corto
hacia el norte.
Cuando en el lado izquierdo se muestra la indicación “← N”, muévase
hacia la izquierda para alcanzar el norte más rápidamente.
Cuando en el lado derecho se muestra la indicación “N →”, muévase
hacia la derecha para alcanzar el norte más rápidamente.
En la tercera ﬁla se muestra la localización.
En la cuarta ﬁla se muestra la brújula con la cifra de dirección y la
dirección celeste.
Pulse el botón SET 3 para conmutar entre ambos formatos de
visualización.
La brújula se desconecta automáticamente para ahorrar energía:
en estado de reposo, al cabo de 3 minutos.
en régimen de funcionamiento continuo, al cabo de 5 minutos.

Nota: para volver a activar la brújula pulse el botón SET 3 .
Interferencias del entorno
– Las brújulas digitales trabajan con el campo magnético terrestre. Por
ello, estos aparatos reaccionan muy sensiblemente a las inﬂuencias
del entorno, las cuales alteran el campo magnético de la tierra, por
ejemplo, al aproximarse a metales pesados, electrodomésticos, ordenadores y cables de corriente de alta tensión.
No utilice nunca la brújula cerca de otra brújula o de un objeto
metálico o magnético.
Para obtener datos precisos sobre la dirección de movimiento calibre
nuevamente la brújula (véase capítulo “Calibración del aparato”), si
1. se muestra permanentemente el aviso “ERROR” en la pantalla.
2. los datos de dirección se desvían más de 10 grados.
3. utiliza el aparato por primera vez en el interior de un vehículo.
Calibración del aparato
Pulse el botón MODE 1 para acceder al modo brújula.
Pulse el botón SELECT 2 y manténgalo pulsado para acceder al
modo de calibración. En la pantalla se muestra “CAL”.
Pulse nuevamente el botón SELECT para iniciar la calibración. En la
pantalla aparece un círculo girando.
Gire el aparato trazando dos círculos en el sentido de las agujas del
reloj sobre una superﬁcie plana que se encuentre libre de placas
metálicas, electrodomésticos, ordenadores, cables de alta tensión, etc.
Realice los movimientos circulares siempre en la misma dirección.
Tenga en cuenta que para trazar cada círculo deberá tardar no
menos de 20 segundos y no más de un minuto.
Para ﬁnalizar la calibración pulse el botón SET 3 .

Nota: si no se realiza correctamente la calibración pueden producirse imprecisiones a la hora de indicar la dirección. Realice una
nueva calibración si detecta errores en la indicación de la dirección.

Cuando el círculo se mueva, mueva el reloj trazando dos círculos en el sentido de las
agujas del reloj
Indicación del ángulo de declinación para el norte geográfico
(True North)
– La declinación indica la diferencia entre el norte magnético y el norte
geométrico en su localidad.
– La declinación local se indica en el borde del mapa, bien como declinación este positiva (E) o declinación oeste negativa (W). Durante la
orientación, la dirección en el mapa se corrige restando la declinación positiva y sumando la declinación negativa.
Mantenga pulsado el botón SET 3 para acceder al modo de ajuste
de la declinación. En la pantalla se muestra la letra “E”, la cual
comenzará a parpadear.
Presione el botón SELECT 2 para seleccionar la dirección este (E) u
oeste (W).
Pulse nuevamente el botón SET para conﬁrmar el ajuste. La cifra
correspondiente al ángulo de declinación comenzará a parpadear.

Pulse el botón SELECT para ajustar el ángulo a compensar. Para
conﬁrmar el ajuste pulse el botón SET.
Pulse el botón SELECT para activar o desactivar la función de declinación.
En la parte inferior de la pantalla aparecerá “ON” u “OFF”.
Pulse el botón MODE 1 para conﬁrmar el ajuste. A continuación se
accede nuevamente al modo brújula.
Para una mejor comprensión del efecto de declinación, lea el
siguiente ejemplo: la dirección actual es N 10 grados. Cuando se
ajusta el ángulo de declinación a 30 grados, la dirección deﬁnitiva
cambia a NW 340 grados.
Nota: encontrará información sobre los datos de declinación para su
localidad en Internet.

Pulse a continuación el botón MODE 1 para conﬁrmar el ajuste.
Nota: pulse el botón SELECT 2 para seleccionar la indicación deseada
en el modo altímetro. Al pulsar a continuación el botón SET 3 , se muestran en la zona central de la pantalla siempre los siguientes datos: temperatura, hora y representación gráﬁca de la altura.

Nota: puede visualizar la altura actual de su emplazamiento de diferentes
maneras:
1. modo simple: altura y hora actuales,
2. modo detallado: temperatura, hora, altura actual y representación
gráﬁca de la altura.

Memoria de altura máxima (HIGH)
En el modo altímetro, pulse el botón SELECT 2 hasta que se muestre
la indicación “HIGH”. En la parte inferior de la pantalla se muestra la
memoria de la altura máxima, en el centro la altura actual.
Presione el botón SET 3 y manténgalo presionado durante aprox.
3 segundos. En la parte inferior de la pantalla aparecerá brevemente
“HOLD TO SET”. A continuación se mostrará en la parte inferior de la
pantalla la última altura máxima registrada.
Memoria de altura mínima (LOW)
En el modo altímetro, mantenga pulsado el botón SELECT 2 hasta
que se muestre la indicación “LOW”. En la parte inferior de la pantalla se muestra la memoria de la altura mínima, en el centro la altura
actual.

Altura total perdida (DOWN)
En el modo altímetro, pulse el botón SELECT 2 hasta que se muestre

la altura total perdida, en el centro la altura actual.

Recuento del número de montañas (HILL)
En el modo altímetro, pulse el botón SELECT 2 hasta que se muestre
la indicación “HILL”. En la parte inferior de la pantalla se muestra el
número de montañas, en el centro la altura actual.

Mantenga pulsado el botón SET 3 para poner a cero el recuento de
montañas. En la pantalla aparece “HOLD TO RESET”.
Registro
En el modo altímetro, pulse el botón SELECT 2 hasta que se muestre
la indicación “RECORD”. En la parte inferior de la pantalla se muestra la altura actual, en el centro se muestra la representación gráﬁca
de la altura. El desarrollo de la altura y la representación gráﬁca
registran los cambios de altura de las últimas 8 horas.

Pulse el botón SET 3 para consultar el registro de la altura de una
posición determinada durante las últimas 8 horas. Para cada registro
individual de altura se muestra la hora del registro.
Mantenga pulsado el botón SET para iniciar un nuevo registro de la
altura. En la pantalla aparece “HOLD TO RESET”.
Iluminación de fondo
Pulse el botón LIGHT 4 para activar la luz de fondo durante aprox.
2 segundos. No es posible iluminar permanentemente la pantalla.
Fuentes de error
Medición de altura
Todos los altímetros se ven inﬂuidos por la presión atmosférica (a no ser
que sean controlados mediante GPS o similar), ya que ésta se emplea
para calcular la altura.
Por ello, compruebe y ajuste el altímetro. Asegúrese de ajustar la
altura en un lugar cuya altura pueda ser establecida como punto ﬁjo
ﬁable.
Temperatura
La temperatura indicada corresponde al interior de la caja del reloj. Está
también se ve inﬂuida por la temperatura corporal.

Limpieza y mantenimiento
Limpie el producto con un paño seco y sin pelusa. Un paño para
limpiar gafas resulta especialmente adecuado.
Eliminación del producto
El embalaje está compuesto por materiales no contaminantes
que pueden ser eliminados en el centro de reciclaje local.
Para obtener información sobre las posibilidades de eliminación del producto al ﬁnal de su vida útil, acuda a la administración de su comunidad
o ciudad.
En beneﬁcio del medio ambiente no deseche el producto junto
con la basura doméstica al ﬁnal de su vida útil. Deséchelo
adecuadamente.
Las pilas defectuosas o usadas deben ser recicladas según lo indicado en
la directiva 2006 / 66 / EC.
¡Daño medioambiental debido a un reciclaje
incorrecto de las pilas!
Las pilas no deben eliminarse junto con los residuos domésticos. Pueden
contener metales pesados tóxicos que deben tratarse conforme a la normativa aplicable a los residuos especiales. Los símbolos químicos de los
metales pesados son: Cd = Cadmio, Hg = Mercurio, Pb = Plomo. Las pilas
deben reciclarse en un punto de recogida selectiva municipal.

Ogni utilizzatore ha per legge l‘obbligo di smaltire le batterie in
maniera corretta!
Tenere la batteria fuori dalla portata dei bambini, non gettare batterie
nel fuoco, non cortocircuitarle e non aprirle.
In caso di mancata osservanza delle indicazioni fornite, le batterie
possono scaricarsi raggiungendo la loro tensione ﬁnale. Persiste il
pericolo di perdite. Se dovessero veriﬁcarsi perdite, togliere immediatamente le batterie per evitare danni all’apparecchio!
Evitare il contatto con pelle, occhi e mucose. In caso di contatto con
l’acido della batteria, sciacquare abbondantemente il punto interessato e / o consultare un medico!

Modalità orario

Premendo il tasto SELECT nella modalità orario è possibile selezionare
le seguenti funzioni:

– Allarme (ALARM)
– Timer conto alla rovescia (TIMER)
Orario (TIME)
Nella modalità orario premere il tasto SELECT 2 ﬁno a quando sul
display compare la scritta “TIME”.
Nella modalità orario, nella parte superiore del display compare l’anno,
mentre nella parte inferiore il giorno della settimana e la data.

Impostazione dell’orario (T1)
Premere il tasto SET 3 e mantenerlo premuto per circa 3 secondi. Sul
display compare la scritta “HOLD TO SET” e il formato orario “24H”
inizia a lampeggiare.
Premere il tasto SELECT 2 , per passare dal formato 12 ore al formato
24 ore e viceversa.
Premere il tasto SET per confermare l’immissione. Sul display lampeggia
la visualizzazione dei secondi.
Premere il tasto SELECT 2 per azzerare la visualizzazione dei secondi.
Confermare l’immissione premendo il tasto SET 3 .
Nota: per modiﬁcare rapidamente le impostazioni, tenere premuto il
tasto SELECT.
Premere il tasto SELECT per impostare la visualizzazione dei minuti.
Confermare l’immissione premendo il tasto SET.
Seguire la stessa procedura per impostare ora, anno, mese e giorno.
L’indicazione dell’unità di misura inizia a lampeggiare.
Premere il tasto SELECT per impostare l’unità di misura desiderata
(METRIC = sistema metrico / IMPERIAL = sistema britannico).
Premere il tasto MODE 1 , per salvare tutte le impostazioni.
Secondo orario (T2)
Nella modalità orario premere il tasto SELECT 2 e mantenerlo premuto
per circa 3 secondi. Il secondo orario (T2) viene visualizzato nella
parte inferiore del display.

Per l’impostazione del secondo orario (T2), procedere come per il
primo orario (T1) (vedere capitolo “impostazione dell’orario (T1)”).
Premere il tasto SELECT e mantenerlo premuto per circa 3 secondi. Il
display torna a visualizzare l’orario normale (T1).
Allarme
Sono disponibili cinque allarmi diversi che possono essere attivati o disattivati singolarmente. Ogni allarme può essere impostato per quattro diversi
scopi.
a) Allarme in una determinata data (allarme alle ore

Se l’allarme è attivato, all’orario impostato viene emesso un segnale
acustico per 30 secondi.
Nota: premere il tasto SELECT 2 , il tasto SET 3 o il tasto LIGHT 4 ,
per fermare il segnale d’allarme. In caso contrario, esso continuerà a
suonare per quattro volte a intervalli di 2 minuti.
Quando l’allarme orario è attivato, allo scadere di ogni ora viene riprodotto un doppio “bip”.

Nella modalità orario premere il tasto SELECT 2 , ﬁno a che compare
la scritta “TIMER”.
Premere il tasto SET 3 , ﬁno a che sul display compare la scritta
“HOLD TO SET” e può essere impostato il Countdown Timer.
Premere il tasto SELECT per impostare i minuti. Premere il tasto SET per
passare all’impostazione successiva (ore).
Premere il tasto SELECT per impostare le ore. Premere il tasto SET per
passare all’impostazione successiva “Cd r”.
È impossibile impostare un conto alla rovescia di massimo 23 ore e
59 minuti.
Premere il tasto MODE 1 per confermare le impostazioni.

Tipi di timer:
r: Il timer inizia il conto alla rovescia dall’ora precedentemente impostata,
ﬁno ad arrivare a zero.
U: Il timer inizia il conto in avanti da zero, quando ha raggiunto lo zero.
S: Il timer si ferma non appena raggiunge lo zero.
Per tutti i tre tipi di timer vale quanto segue:
Premere il tasto SET 3 . Il timer si avvia.
Premere nuovamente il tasto SET. Il timer si ferma.
Premere nuovamente il tasto SET. Il timer riprende il conteggio.
Premere ancora il tasto SET e mantenerlo premuto per circa 3 secondi.
Il timer torna all’ora originariamente impostata.
Quando il timer arriva a zero, un segnale acustico si attiva per
15 secondi. Premere il tasto SELECT 2 , il tasto SET 3 o il tasto
MODE 1 per fermare il segnale di allarme.
Modalità cronometro
Per accedere alla modalità cronometro, premere il tasto MODE 1
ﬁno a quando sul display compare la scritta “CHRONO”.
Nella modalità cronometro è possibile selezionare una delle seguenti
sottofunzioni:

Interferenze ambientali
– Le bussole digitali si allineano con il campo magnetico della terra.
Pertanto sono estremamente sensibili alle interferenze ambientali che
deformano il campo magnetico terrestre, ad esempio in prossimità di
metalli pesanti, elettrodomestici, computer e cavi di alta tensione.
Non utilizzare mai la bussola in prossimità di un’altra bussola o di un
oggetto metallico o magnetico.
Per ottenere dati precisi sulla direzione di spostamento, ricalibrare la
bussola (vedere il capitolo “Calibrazione del dispositivo) nei seguenti
casi:
1. Il display visualizza il messaggio “ERROR”;
2. Le coordinate sono sbagliate di oltre 10 gradi.
3. Il dispositivo viene utilizzato per la prima volta su una vettura.
Calibrazione del dispositivo
Premere il tasto MODE 1 per accedere alla modalità bussola.
Premere il tasto SELECT 2 e mantenerlo premuto per accedere alla
modalità di calibrazione. Sul display compare la scritta “CAL”.
Premere nuovamente il tasto SELECT per avviare la calibrazione. Sul
display compare un cerchio che gira.
Far compiere all’orologio due movimenti circolari in senso orario su
una superﬁcie piana, lontano da piastre metalliche, elettrodomestici,
computer, cavi di alta tensione, ecc. I movimenti circolari devono
essere eseguiti nella stessa direzione. Ogni movimento circolare
richiede minimo 20 secondi, ma non oltre un minuto.
Per concludere la calibrazione, premere il tasto SET 3 .

Impostazione dell’angolo di declinazione magnetica per il
nord geografico (True North)
– La declinazione magnetica indica la diﬀerenza tra il nord magnetico e
il nord geometrico nella posizione dell’utente.
– La declinazione locale è indicata a margine della carta geograﬁca
come est più declinazione (E) o come ovest meno declinazione (W).
Durante l’orientamento, la direzione sulla carta geograﬁca viene corretta sottraendo la declinazione più e aggiungendo la declinazione
meno.
Premere il tasto SET 3 e mantenerlo premuto per accedere alla
modalità di impostazione della declinazione. Sul display compare la
lettera “E” che inizia a lampeggiare.
Premere il tasto SELECT 2 per selezionare la direzione Est (E) o
Ovest (W).
Premere nuovamente il tasto SET per confermare l’immissione. La cifra
relativa all’angolo di declinazione inizia a lampeggiare.

Premere il tasto SET 3 per richiamare la registrazione dell’altitudine
per un determinato luogo per le ultime 8 ore. Per ogni singola registrazione viene indicato il rispettivo orario.
Tenere premuto il tasto SET per attivare una nuova registrazione
dell’altitudine. Sul display compare la scritta “HOLD TO RESET”.
Luce di contrasto quadrante
Premere il tasto LIGHT 4 per attivare la retroilluminazione per circa
2 secondi. Un’illuminazione costante del quadrante non è possibile.
Cause di errore
Misurazione dell’altitudine
Tutti gli altimetri sono soggetti agli inﬂussi della pressione dell’aria (indipendentemente dal fatto che siano controllati da GPS o altro), perchè con
la pressione dell’aria si calcola l’altitudine.
Controllare e regolare l’altimetro. Attenzione: eseguire la regolazione
dell’altimetro in un luogo la cui altitudine possa essere impostata
come punto ﬁsso attendibile.
Temperatura
Viene visualizzata la temperatura registrata all’interno dell’involucro del
dispositivo. Tale valore è inﬂuenzato anche dalla temperatura corporea.

Pulizia e cura
Pulire il prodotto con un panno asciutto e privo di peli. Un panno per
pulire gli occhiali è la soluzione ideale.
Smaltimento
L’imballaggio è composto da materiali ecologici che possono
essere smaltiti presso i siti di riciclaggio locali.
Informarsi presso l’amministrazione comunale o locale circa le possibilità
di uno smaltimento non dannoso per l’ambiente.
Non gettare il prodotto usurato tra i riﬁuti domestici ma,
per motivi di tutela dell’ambiente, provvedere al suo corretto
smaltimento.
Batterie difettose o usate devono essere riciclate ai sensi della Direttiva
2006 / 66 / EC.
Pericolo di danni ambientali in caso di smaltimento
errato delle batterie!
Le batterie non devono essere smaltite nei riﬁuti domestici. Esse possono
contenere una varietà di metalli pesanti tossici da smaltire come riﬁuti
tossici. I simboli chimici dei metalli pesanti sono i seguenti: Cd = Cadmio,
Hg = mercurio, Pb = piombo. Consegnare quindi le batterie usate presso
un punto di raccolta comunale.

Avarias condicionadas pelo ambiente
– Bússolas digitais trabalham com o campo magnético da terra. Por isso
estes aparelhos reagem de forma muito sensível às diversas inﬂuências
do ambiente envolvente, que alteram o campo magnético da terra,
por exemplo em caso de aproximação de metais pesados, electrodomésticos, computadores e cabos de corrente intensa.
Nunca utilize a bússola nas proximidades de outra bússola ou de um
objecto metálico ou magnético.
Para obter indicações exactas sobre a direcção de movimentos calibre
novamente a bússola (ver capítulo “Calibragem do aparelho), se
1. no visor surgir de forma contínua a mensagem “ERROR”.
2. as indicações de número de direcção apresentarem um erro de mais

Calibragem do aparelho

Prima novamente o botão SELECT para iniciar a calibragem. No visor
surge um anel que roda.
Efectue duas rotações do aparelho no sentido dos ponteiros do relógio
numa superfície plana, isenta de placas de metal, de electrodomésticos,
computadores, cabos de corrente intensa, etc. Execute os movimentos
em círculo na mesma direcção. Tenha em atenção que necessita de,
no mínimo, 20 segundos, mas não mais que um minuto, para cada
círculo.

Medição de altitudes
Todos os altímetros são inﬂuenciados pela pressão de ar (a não ser que
sejam comandados por GPS ou semelhante), uma vez que a altitude é
calculada com a pressão de ar.
Por isso veriﬁque e ajuste o altímetro. Certiﬁque-se de que ajusta o
altímetro num local, cuja altitude possa ser introduzida como ponto
ﬁxo ﬁável.
Temperatura
É indicada a temperatura do interior da caixa do aparelho. Esta também
é inﬂuenciada pela temperatura do corpo.

Ambient interference
– Digital compasses operate with the magnetic ﬁeld of the earth. Hence
these devices react very sensitively to various ambient inﬂuences, that
distort the magnetic ﬁeld of the earth, for example, when approaching
heavy metal, household devices, computers and power cables.
Never use the compass in the proximity of another compass or a
metal or magnetic object.
To obtain accurate information on the direction of movement, recalibrate the compass (see chapter „Calibration of the device), if
1. „ERROR“ permanently appears in the display.
2. The direction details indicate an error of more than 10 degrees.
3. The device is used in a vehicle for the ﬁrst time.
Calibration of the device
Press the MODE button 1 to proceed to compass mode.
Press and hold down the SELECT button 2 to proceed to calibration
mode. „CAL“ appears in the display.
Press the SELECT button once again to start the calibration. A rotating
ring appears in the display.
Rotate the device twice in a clockwise direction on a level surface that
is free from metal plates, household devices, computers, power cables
etc. Always rotate in the same direction. Ensure that you take at least
20 seconds for each rotation but not longer than one minute.
Then press the SET button 3 to complete the calibration.
Note: If the calibration is not performed correctly, inaccurate information could be the consequence. Perform the calibration once again if
any detail seems to be erroneous.

Entry of declination angle for the geographic north
(True North)
– The declination indicates the diﬀerence between the magnetic north
and the geometric north direction at your location.
– The local declination is marked at the edge of the map either as east
plus declination (E) or as west minus declination (W). During the orientation, the direction on the map is corrected by subtraction of the plus
declination or addition of the minus declination.
Press and hold down the SET button 3 to proceed to the setting
mode for the declination. The letter „E“ appears in the display and
begins to ﬂash.
Press the SELECT button 2 to select the direction east (E) or west (W).
Press the SET button again to conﬁrm your entry The digit for the declination angle begins to ﬂash.
Press the SELECT button to set the angle that should be adjusted. Press

Background contrast lighting
Press the LIGHT button 4 to switch on the background lighting for
approx. 2 seconds. A permanent lighting of the display is not possible.
Troubleshooting
Altitude measurement
All altimeters are inﬂuenced by air pressure (unless they are controlled via
GPS etc), as the altitude is calculated with the air pressure.
Therefore check and adjust the altimeter. Make sure
that you adjust the altimeter in a place the altitude of which you can
enter as a reliable reference point.
Temperature
The temperature of the inside of the housing is displayed This is also inﬂuenced by the body temperature.
Cleaning and Care
Clean the product with a dry, non-ﬂuﬃng cloth. A spectacle cleaning
cloth is ideal
Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials which
you can dispose of at your local recycling facilities.
Contact your local waste disposal authority for more details on how to
dispose of the product when it is no longer needed.

Zeit-Modus
Um in den Zeit-Modus zu gelangen, drücken Sie die MODE-Taste 1

Im Zeit-Modus erscheint im oberen Bereich der Anzeige das Jahr und im
unteren Bereich erscheinen der Wochentag und das Datum.

Drücken Sie die SET-Taste 3 und halten Sie diese ca. 3 Sekunden
lang gedrückt. In der Anzeige erscheint „HOLD TO SET“ und das
Stundenformat „24H“ beginnt zu blinken.
Drücken Sie die SELECT-Taste 2 , um zwischen dem 12- und 24-Stundenformat zu wählen.
Drücken Sie die SET-Taste, um Ihre Eingabe zu bestätigen. Die Sekundenanzeige der Zeitanzeige blinkt.
Drücken Sie die SELECT-Taste 2 , um die Sekundenanzeige auf Null
zu setzen.
Bestätigen Sie Ihre Eingabe durch Drücken der SET-Taste 3 .
Hinweis: Sie können die SELECT-Taste gedrückt halten, um die Einstellungen schneller zu verändern.
Drücken Sie die SELECT-Taste, um die Minutenanzeige einzustellen.
Bestätigen Sie Ihre Eingabe durch Drücken der SET-Taste.
Stellen Sie die Stunden, das Jahr, den Monat und den Tag auf die
gleiche Weise ein. Die Anzeige der Maßeinheit beginnt danach zu
blinken.
Drücken Sie die SELECT-Taste, um die gewünschte Maßeinheit (METRIC = metrisches System / IMPERIAL = britisches System) einzustellen.
Drücken Sie die MODE-Taste 1 . Alle Einstellungen werden gespeichert.

Zweite Zeit (T2)
Drücken Sie im Zeit-Modus die SELECT-Taste 2 und halten Sie diese
ca. 3 Sekunden lang gedrückt. Die zweite Zeit (T2) erscheint im unteren
Bereich der Anzeige.
Gehen Sie zur Einstellung der zweiten Zeit (T2) vor, wie beim Einstellen
der ersten Zeit (T1) (siehe Kapitel „Einstellen der Zeit (T1)“).
Drücken Sie die SELECT-Taste und halten Sie diese ca. 3 Sekunden
lang gedrückt. Die Zeitanzeige wechselt wieder in die normale Zeit (T1).
Alarm
Es gibt fünf individuelle Alarmmeldungen, die nach Wunsch einzeln aktiviert
oder deaktiviert werden können. Jeder Alarm kann für vier verschiedene
Zwecke eingestellt werden.
a) Alarm an einem bestimmten Datum (Alarm um 10:00

r: Der Timer beginnt die zuvor eingestellte Zeit herunter zu zählen, bis die
Null erreicht ist.
U: Der Timer beginnt von Null aufwärts zu zählen, wenn die Null erreicht
ist.
S: Der Timer bleibt stehen, sobald die Null erreicht ist.
Für alle drei Timer-Typen gilt:

Drücken Sie die SET-Taste erneut. Der Timer stoppt.
Drücken Sie die SET-Taste erneut. Der Timer zählt weiter.
Drücken Sie die SET-Taste erneut und halten Sie diese ca. 3 Sekunden
lang gedrückt. Der Timer wird auf diese Weise auf die ursprünglich
eingestellte Zeit zurückgestellt.
Wenn der Timer die Null erreicht, ertönt für 15 Sekunden ein Alarmsignal.
Drücken Sie die SELECT-Taste 2 , die SET-Taste 3 oder die MODETaste 1 , um das Alarmsignal zu stoppen.

Umgebungsbedingte Störungen
– Digitale Kompasse arbeiten mit dem Magnetfeld der Erde. Daher
reagieren diese Geräte sehr empﬁndlich auf verschiedene Umgebungseinﬂüsse, die das Magnetfeld der Erde verzerren, beispielsweise bei
Annäherung an schweres Metall, Haushaltsgeräte, Computer und
Starkstromkabel.
Benutzen Sie den Kompass nie in der Nähe eines anderen Kompass
oder eines metallischen oder magnetischen Objekts.
Zum Erhalten genauer Angaben über die Bewegungsrichtung kalibrieren
Sie den Kompass neu (siehe Kapitel „Kalibrierung des Geräts), wenn
1. die Meldung „ERROR“dauerhaft in der Anzeige erscheint.
2. die Richtungszahlenangaben einen Fehler von mehr als 10 Grad aufweisen.
3. das Gerät zum ersten Mal in einem Fahrzeug verwendet wird.

Kalibrierung des Geräts
Drücken Sie die MODE-Taste 1 , um in den Kompass-Modus zu
gelangen.
Drücken Sie die SELECT-Taste 2 und halten Sie diese gedrückt, um in
den Kalibrierungsmodus zu gelangen. In der Anzeige erscheint „CAL“.
Drücken Sie die SELECT-Taste erneut um die Kalibrierung zu starten. In
der Anzeige erscheint ein Ring, der sich dreht.
Drehen Sie das Gerät in zwei Kreisen im Uhrzeigersinn auf einer ebenen
Fläche, die frei ist von Metallplatten, Haushaltsgeräten, Computern,
Starkstromkabeln usw. Führen Sie die Kreisbewegungen jeweils in der
gleichen Richtung aus. Achten Sie darauf, Sie für jeden Kreis mindestens
20 Sekunden, aber nicht länger als eine Minute benötigen.
Drücken Sie anschließend zum Abschluss der Kalibrierung die SETTaste 3 .
Hinweis: Wird die Kalibrierung nicht korrekt ausgeführt, können
ungenaue Richtungsangaben die Folge sein. Führen Sie erneut eine
Kalibrierung durch, wenn Ihnen eine Richtungsangabe fehlerhaft
erscheint.

Eingabe des Deklinationswinkels für den geographischen
Norden (True North)
– Die Deklination zeigt den Unterschied zwischen dem magnetischen
Norden und der geometrischen Nordrichtung an Ihrem Standort.
– Die lokale Deklination ist am Rand der Landkarte angegeben, entweder
als Ost plus Deklination (E) oder als West minus Deklination (W).
Während der Orientierung wird die Richtung auf der Landkarte korrigiert, indem die Plus-Deklination subtrahiert und die Minus-Deklination
addiert wird.
Drücken Sie die SET-Taste 3 und halten Sie sie gedrückt, um in den
Einstellmodus für die Deklination zu gelangen. In der Anzeige
erscheint der Buchstabe „E“ und beginnt zu blinken.
Drücken Sie die SELECT-Taste 2 , um die Richtung Ost (E) oder West
(W) auszuwählen.
Drücken Sie zur Bestätigung Ihrer Eingabe erneut die SET-Taste. Die
Ziﬀer für den Deklinationswinkel beginnt zu blinken.
Drücken Sie die SELECT-Taste, um den Winkel einzustellen, der ausgeglichen werden soll. Drücken Sie zur Bestätigung Ihrer Eingabe die
SET-Taste.
Drücken Sie die SELECT-Taste, um die Deklinationsfunktion ein- oder auszuschalten. Im unteren Bereich der Anzeige erscheint „ON“ oder „OFF“.
Drücken Sie die MODE-Taste 1 , um die Einstellung zu bestätigen. Sie
gelangen wieder in den Kompass-Modus.
Zum Verständnis des Deklinationseﬀekts lesen Sie bitte folgendes Beispiel
durch: Die aktuelle Richtung ist N 10 Grad. Wenn der Deklinationswinkel
auf 30 Grad eingestellt wird, ändert sich die endgültige Richtung auf
NW 340 Grad.

Aufzeichnung

die aktuelle Höhe, in der Mitte erscheint die graphische Höhendarstellung.
Höhenverlauf und graphische Darstellung zeichnen die Höhenwechsel
der letzten 8 Stunden auf.
Drücken Sie die SET-Taste 3 , um die Höhenaufzeichnung für eine
bestimmte Stelle während der letzten 8 Stunden abzurufen. Für jede
einzelne Höhenaufzeichnung wird die Zeit der Aufzeichnung angezeigt.
Halten Sie die SET-Taste gedrückt, um eine neue Höhenaufzeichnung
zu starten. In der Anzeige erscheint „HOLD TO RESET”.

Hintergrund-Kontrastbeleuchtung
Drücken Sie die LIGHT-Taste 4 um das Hintergrundlicht für ca. 2 Sekunden einzuschalten. Eine dauerhafte Beleuchtung der Anzeige ist nicht
möglich.
Fehlerquellen
Höhenmessung
Alle Höhenmesser werden vom Luftdruck beeinﬂusst (es sei den, sie werden
über GPS o. ä. gesteuert), da mit dem Luftdruck die Höhe berechnet wird.
Überprüfen und justieren Sie daher den Höhenmesser. Achten Sie
darauf, dass Sie den Höhenmesser an einem Ort justieren, dessen
Höhe Sie als verlässlichen Fixpunkt eingeben können.
Temperatur
Anzeigt wird die Temperatur des Gerätegehäuse-Inneren. Diese wird auch
von der Körpertemperatur beeinﬂusst.
Reinigung und Pﬂege
Reinigen Sie das Produkt mit einem trockenen, fusselfreien Tuch. Ein
Brillenputztuch ist ideal.
Entsorgung
Die Verpackung besteht aus umweltfreundlichen Materialien, die Sie über
die örtlichen Recyclingstellen entsorgen können.
Möglichkeiten zur Entsorgung des ausgedienten Produkts erfahren Sie bei
Ihrer Gemeinde oder Stadtverwaltung.

Batterien dürfen nicht über den Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Sie könne giftige
Schwermetalle enthalten und unterliegen der Sondermüllbehandlung. Die
chemischen Symbole der Schwermetalle sind wie folgt: Cd = Cadmium,
Hg = Quecksilber, Pb = Blei. Geben Sie deshalb verbrauchte Batterien bei
einer kommunalen Sammelstelle ab.
