DESCRIZIONE E IMPIEGO
Caratteristiche
Il climatizzatore “Vort Kryo onlyone”, è un apparecchio
di tipo fisso “all in one”, consistente cioè di un’unica
entità da installare nell’ambiente da climatizzare e
contenente al suo interno tutti i dispositivi necessari al
proprio funzionamento.
Il climatizzatore rappresenta la soluzione ideale per
quelle locazioni (domestiche e/o commerciali), che non
consentono
l’installazione
di
apparecchiature
all’esterno.
Il sistema “Vort Kryo only one” infatti, non necessita di
unità esterna e mantiene così inalterata l’estetica
dell’edificio; le uniche parti visibili esternamente sono le
2 griglie, indispensabili per lo scambio termico.
Le caratteristiche principali di “Kryo onlyone” sono:
• Gas refrigerante R410 A
• Smaltimento automatico della condensa, sia in
modalità raffreddamento che in quella riscaldamento
• Tecnologia di controllo “intelligente”
• Alta efficienza di funzionamento
• Funzionamento silenzioso
• Totale controllo delle funzioni mediante telecomando
con display LCD.
Il climatizzatore “Vort Kryo onlyone” viene consegnato
nel suo imballo di cartone comprensivo di protezioni
interne che ne garantiscono l’integrità durante il
trasporto. All’interno dell’ imballo si trova il manuale
istruzioni, che è parte integrante dell’apparecchio e che
deve essere letto attentamente e conservato
accuratamente per assicurare il corretto impiego del
prodotto.
All’apertura dell’ imballo si suggerisce di verificare la
presenza di tutti gli accessori necessari al corretto
funzionamento dell’apparecchio. (fig. n°1)

N.B. I dati riportati nella targa dati sopra citata sono stati
misurati nel corso di test condotti sull apparecchio
alimentato a 230V~50Hz e funzionante nelle seguenti
condizioni in ottemperanza alla norma EN 14511:

Prestazioni e consumi di qualsiasi macchina frigorifera
sono condizionate dalle condizioni ambientali in cui
essa è chiamata ad operare. Pertanto i valori della
temperatura dell’aria trattata, degli assorbimenti
elettrici, etc…variano al variare dei parametri ambiente.
Nel caso il climatizzatore funzioni al di fuori degli
intervalli di temperatura riassunti qui sopra, potrebbero
attivarsi dispositivi interni di protezione capaci di
alterarne il corretto funzionamento.

fuori degli intervalli di temperatura qui sopra riassunti,
potrebbero attivarsi dispositivi interni di protezione
capaci di alterarne, per ragioni di sicurezza, il normale
funzionamento.

Attenzione:
questo simbolo indica che è necessario
prendere precauzioni per evitare danni all’utente
• Verificare il peso dell’apparecchio prima di cercare di
sollevarlo o spostarlo, prendendo tutte le precauzioni
necessarie ad evitare danni fisici alle persone ed al
prodotto.
Si consiglia di togliere l’apparecchio dall’imballo solo
dopo aver posizionato la scatola in prossimità del
punto dove verrà effettuata l’installazione.
• Questo climatizzatore è stato progettato e costruito
per rinfrescare e riscaldare il locale abitativo di
destinazione e deve essere pertanto usato per questo
scopo. Il costruttore non è responsabile per danni
indotti o provocati da un uso non corretto o da una
errata installazione.
• Si raccomanda di conservare l’imballo fino all’avvenuto
completamento dell’ installazione.
• Dopo aver tolto il prodotto dall’ imballo assicurarsi
della sua integrità: nel dubbio rivolgersi subito
all’Assistenza Tecnica Vortice. Non lasciare parti
dell’imballo o i sacchetti ivi contenuti alla portata di
bambini o persone diversamente abili.
• Non sedersi né appoggiare oggetti sull’apparecchio.
• L’uso di qualsiasi apparecchio elettrico comporta
l’osservanza di alcune regole fondamentali, tra le quali:
- non toccarlo con mani bagnate o umide;
- non toccarlo a piedi nudi;
- non permetterne l’utilizzo da parte di bambini o
persone diversamente abili non sorvegliate.
• Questo apparecchio non è da intendersi adatto all'uso
da parte di persone (inclusi i bambini) in possesso di
ridotte capacità fisiche, sensoriali o mentali, o
comunque prive di esperienza e conoscenza, a meno
che siano sorvegliate o preventivamente istruite
riguardo al suo utilizzo da una persona responsabile
della loro sicurezza. I bambini dovrebbero essere
sorvegliati per assicurarsi che non giochino con
l'apparecchio.
• Non utilizzare l’apparecchio in presenza di sostanze o
vapori infiammabili come alcool, insetticidi, benzina
ecc.
• Se si decide di dismettere definitivamente
l’apparecchio, spegnerne l’interruttore e scollegarlo
dalla rete elettrica.

• Non apportare modifiche di alcun genere al prodotto.
• L’apparecchio deve essere correttamente collegato ad
un impianto di messa a terra, perfettamente
funzionante, come previsto dalle vigenti norme di
sicurezza elettrica. In caso di dubbio, richiedere un
controllo accurato da parte di personale
professionalmente qualificato.
• Non accendere il climatizzatore se l’installazione non è
stata completata in modo corretto e definitivo.
• Verificare periodicamente e visivamente l’integrità
dell’apparecchio. In caso d’imperfezioni spegnerlo e
contattare subito l’Assistenza Tecnica Vortice.
• Per l'installazione occorre prevedere un interruttore
bipolare con distanza di apertura dei contatti uguale o
superiore a mm 3.
• Collegare l'apparecchio alla rete di alimentazione /
presa elettrica solo se la portata dell'impianto è
adeguata alla sua potenza massima. In caso contrario
rivolgersi subito a personale professionalmente
qualificato.
• Non posizionare il frontale del climatizzatore ad una
distanza inferiore a 50 cm da pareti, mobili e tendaggi.
• Il climatizzatore non è utilizzabile in luoghi bagnati o
molto umidi.
• Non installare l’apparecchio in prossimità di fiamme
libere, cucine, apparecchi riscaldanti o superfici calde.
• Non permettere che l’apparecchio venga a contatto di
sostanze chimiche aggressive
• Non cercare in nessun modo di riparare
autonomamente il climatizzatore: questa operazione
farà decadere immediatamente i termini di garanzia:
contattare invece sempre il Servizio di Assistenza
Tecnica Vortice.
• Prima di effettuare qualsiasi intervento di
manutenzione ordinaria o straordinaria, accertarsi di
aver scollegato la spina dalla presa elettrica.
• Evitare la prolungata esposizione del corpo al getto di
aria fredda proveniente dall’apparecchio; assicurare
altresì il costante ricambio dell’aria nel locale in cui il
climatizzatore è installato.
• Non spruzzare o versare acqua sul prodotto.
• Non coprire nè ostruire le griglie di aspirazione e
mandata dell’apparecchio.
• Non coprire nè ostruire le griglie di aspirazione e

• Non utilizzare mai l’apparecchio privo dei filtri.
• In caso di cattivo funzionamento e/o guasto spegnere
l’apparecchio e rivolgersi subito all’Assistenza Tecnica
Vortice. Per l’eventuale riparazione esigere l’uso di
ricambi originali Vortice.
• I dati elettrici della rete devono corrispondere a quelli
riportati in targa A (fig. n°2).

INSTALLAZIONE
Posizionamento dell’apparecchio
(fig. n°4)
Al fine di ottenere le migliori prestazioni dal climatizzatore ed per evitare guasti o rotture è necessario installare l’apparecchio in modo appropriato. Si consiglia di
leggere attentamente e di seguire scrupolosamente le
istruzioni d’installazione qui di seguito descritte.
• Il climatizzatore deve essere installato su un muro
perimetrale esterno del locale.
• Per garantire il corretto flusso d’aria in ingresso ed
uscita dalle griglie esterne assicurarsi, prima di
effettuare i due fori, che all’esterno non siano presenti
ostacoli nel raggio di 2 m.
Mantenere intorno
all’apparecchio gli spazi minimi indicati sul foglio “dima
di montaggio”.
• Accertarsi che il muro su cui verrà installato il
climatizzatore abbia caratteristiche strutturali atte a
sostenerne il peso.
Dopo aver individuato la posizione ottimale dove installare il climatizzatore, secondo quanto descritto nei punti
precedenti, assicurarsi che la zona dove saranno realizzati i 2 fori nel muro non sia attraversata da cavi elettrici,
tubi dell’acqua o di scarico, strutture portanti, etc.

Dima di installazione (fig. n°5 e 6)
Fissare il foglio “dima installazione a muro” nella posizione prescelta e dopo aver verificato i punti precedenti.
Prestare attenzione a che il foglio sia posto in piano,
aiutandosi con una livella. Verificare altresì che:
• Non siano presenti cavi, tubi o strutture in
corrispondenza dei fori di prevista realizzazione.
• Nei 2 m. circostanti non siano presenti ostacoli in
grado di ridurre le prestazioni dell’apparecchio o
danneggiarlo.
• Le operazioni di montaggio siano eseguite secondo
quanto descritto in questo manuale.

Esecuzione fori nel muro (fig. n°7)

Assicurarsi che l’area all’esterno del muro di destinazione del prodotto posta in corrispondenza della zona
dove verranno realizzati i 2 fori d’ingresso e uscita aria,
sia sgombra e non interessata dal passaggio di persone, animali o cose che potrebbero essere feriti o danneggiati dai detriti prodotti durante l’operazione di
foratura.
Assicurarsi che l’area sia controllata fino al termine delle
operazioni di foratura e di successivo montaggio dei 2
tubi corrispondenti.
FORI D’INGRESSO ED USCITA ARIA
• La realizzazione di questi fori deve essere eseguita
con strumenti adeguati, quali frese a tazze diamantate
da muro, trapani percussori con regolatore di coppia,
occhiali e guanti protettivi, etc.
• Fissare in piano la dima di installazione a muro.
• Eseguire un foro di riferimento al centro della
circonferenza del foro da realizzare; l’eventuale fresa a
tazza dovrà avere un diametro di 162 mm.
Questo climatizzatore è dotato di due sistemi alternativi
per l’espulsione automatica dell’acqua di condensa.
Prima di completare l’installazione dell’apparecchio è
importante scegliere quello preferito: si consiglia di leggere attentamente le note qui di seguito riassunte prima
di operare una scelta.
SISTEMA “A”: realizzare un foro di diametro pari a
30mm come indicato sul foglio della dima d’installazione nella posizione corrispondente. L’acqua verrà
smaltita all’esterno per gravità. E’ dunque essenziale assicurarsi del fatto che il foro abbia una pendenza verso il
basso (dall’interno all’esterno) di 3°; collegare quindi il
tubo di scarico, compreso fra gli accessori di serie,
come di seguito indicato:
• identificare il tappo in gomma che chiude lo scarico
della condensa posto nella parte inferiore centrale del
retro del climatizzatore;
• rimuoverlo e collegare il tubo di scarico dal lato del
raccordo in gomma, come indicato in fig. n°8
Questa prima soluzione permette di scaricare l’acqua di
condensa all’esterno, convogliandola in modo appropriato; con questo caso il tappo il tappo di chiusura del
foro B, non deve essere rimosso.
SISTEMA “B”:
• non rimuovere il tappo posto in corrispondenza del
foro A
• togliere il tappo che chiude il foro B
• collegare il tubo di scarico in dotazione al foro B, così
da convogliare l’acqua nell’opportuno scarico o
contenitore predisposto.
Questa seconda soluzione è utile allorché non sia possibile scaricare direttamente la condensa all’esterno.
ATTENZIONE: è essenziale che i fori risultino inclinati
verso il basso (dall’interno verso l’esterno), di almeno 3
gradi per garantire il corretto smaltimento all’esterno per
gravità, della condensa. (fig. n°7)

Fissaggio staffa supporto (fig. n°9)
Montaggio griglie esterne
Sul foglio “dima installazione” sono riportati i fori per il
fissaggio della staffa metallica necessaria ad agganciare
la macchina al muro di destinazione.
• praticare i 6 fori (diametro 8mm) indicati in nero sulla
dima; qualora il muro non fosse particolarmente
robusto, utilizzare anche gli altri fori così da garantire la
necessaria solidità dell’ancoraggio.
• Il costruttore declina ogni responsabilità relativa al non
corretto fissaggio alla parete di destinazione, della
staffa metallica di supporto del climatizzatore.

Le griglie sono realizzate in materiale plastico
deformabile e possono quindi essere piegate per
facilitarne l’inserimento nei tubi precedentemente
posizionati e fissati al muro. Si consiglia di provare a
piegare e rilasciare più volte le 2 griglie in modo da
facilitare l’operazione.
- Inserire dapprima la corda in dotazione all’interno del
foro posto al centro delle griglie e bloccarla facendo un
nodo in corrispondenza del foro stesso. (fig. n°11)
- Dopo aver fissato la corda, piegare con una mano la
griglia ed inserirla nel tubo tenendo la corda con l’altra
mano, così da evitare che la griglia possa sfuggire e
cadere all’esterno. (fig. n°12)
- Quando la griglia uscirà dal lato opposto del tubo,
rilasciarla e posizionarla correttamente, con le alette in
posizione verticale. (fig. n°13)
- E’ importante assicurarsi che entrambe le griglie siano
in posizione corretta. (ved. da fig. n°12 a fig. n°14). Si
suggerisce prima dell’inserimento delle griglie nei tubi
di destinazione, l’apporto di colla siliconica in
corrispondenza del loro bordo interno.
- Fissare l’altro capo della corda come indicato in figura
n°14 o in altro modo agevole e sicuro.

Installazione dei tubi (fig. n°10)
- Dopo aver realizzato i 2 fori di diametro da 162mm,
inserire i relativi tubi forniti in dotazione.
- Il tubo di diametro pari a 160mm va inserito nel foro di
destra: attraverso di esso verrà espulsa l’aria calda.
- La lunghezza del tubo dovrà essere pari allo spessore
del muro, aumentata di 10mm; tagliare il tubo secondo
la lunghezza calcolata in precedenza con un normale
seghetto a mano, prestando attenzione a rispettare la
lunghezza e l’inclinazione del tubo che dovrà essere
coerente con il foro praticato nel muro.
- Al fine di facilitare l’inserimento del tubo nel foro di
destinazione, picchiettarlo con un martello di gomma
fino al raggiungimento della posizione corretta, a filo
del muro esterno.
- Seguire la medesima procedura qui sopra descritta
anche per il tubo da 150mm, da inserire nel foro di
sinistra.
- Una volta posizionati i 2 tubi, completare l’operazione
montando gli anelli di fissaggio e bloccandoli per
mezzo di colla siliconica o mediante tasselli / viti da
inserire in corrispondenza degli appositi fori.
Per semplificare il processo si consiglia, ogni qualvolta
possibile, di montare le griglie dall’esterno, fissandole
con colla siliconica ed eventualmente viti e tasselli. In

Montaggio apparecchio a muro
(fig. n°15-16-17)
Dopo essersi assicurati del corretto e sicuro montaggio
della staffa, dei 2 tubi per lo scambio d’aria e del tubetto
di scarico condensa, e dopo aver verificato la disponibilità dell’alimentazione elettrica e di una presa elettrica
adatta al collegamento alla macchina, sarà possibile agganciare il climatizzatore alla staffa e procedere al suo
montaggio finale, nelle modalità qui di seguito descritte:
• Agganciare la macchina alla staffa e centrare i fori di
fissaggio rettangolari posti sul retro, come indicato in
fig. n°15, ricordando di non sollevare l’apparecchio
afferrandolo in corrispondenza del pannello frontale,
ma agendo invece sulla struttura metallica laterale. (fig.
n°16)
• Una volta agganciato il climatizzatore alla staffa
murale, assicurarsi che la sua parte posteriore sia
aderente al muro, senza fessure o inclinazioni.
• Prestare attenzione a che il condotto del ventilatore
che sporge dalla parte posteriore della macchina sia
correttamente centrato nel tubo posto nel muro. (fig.
n°17)

uguale a 20°C la macchina selezionerà
automaticamente la funzione di riscaldamento.
- Se la temperatura ambiente rilevata è compresa tra
20°C ed i 25°C,
la macchina selezionerà
automaticamente la funzione di sola ventilazione.
- Se la temperatura ambiente rilevata è maggiore o
uguale a 25°C la macchina selezionerà
automaticamente la funzione di raffrescamento.
Nota importante: in funzionamento Automatico non
è possibile agire sulle temperature diverse; pertanto

Rinnovo aria (fig. n°18)
Quando il sistema di rinnovo e ricambio aria è aperto
(ved. fig. n°18), il climatizzatore ricambia automaticamente l’aria nella stanza: in questa modalità, viene cioè
immessa nel locale aria fresca dall’esterno. E’ possibile
aprire o chiudere in qualsiasi momento il sistema di rinnovo aria. Ovviamente, con il sistema in posizione
“chiuso” viene garantita una migliore prestazione del climatizzatore. Si consiglia quindi di effettuare il rinnovo
aria nella stanza asservita da “Vort Kryo onlyone”, solamente per pochi minuti nel corso della giornata.

Inserimento e sostituzione batterie
telecomando (fig. n°19)
Aprire l’alloggiamento delle batterie posto sul guscio
posteriore del telecomando, sollevando il gancio di
tenuta dello sportellino.
Inserire 2 batterie tipo AAA (NON INCLUSE),
controllando che le polarità delle stesse (segni “+” e “-“)
siano rispettate all’atto della loro collocazione
nell’apposito vano.
Richiudere lo sportellino.
Premere il tasto ON/OFF per accertarsi del corretto
funzionamento del telecomando.

PULIZIA e MANUTENZIONE

Pulizia filtri (fig. n°20-21-22-23-24)
Il filtro aria deve essere pulito regolarmente per
mantenere inalterate le prestazioni del climatizzatore e
prevenire guasti anche gravi. Si consiglia quindi di pulire
il filtro aria almeno una volta ogni 15gg. Un filtro pulito
risulta più efficace e migliora la qualità dell’aria nella
stanza.
Per la pulizia del filtro aria procedere nel modo seguente:
-spegnere l’apparecchio e disinserire la spina di
alimentazione.
-Sollevare la griglia superiore come indicato nelle
fig. n°20-21, ed accedere al filtro aria inserito nel suo
alloggiamento (n° 2 guide laterali).
-Piegare lievemente il filtro per poterlo estrarre dalla
sede, come indicato nella fig. n°22.
-Lavare il filtro con acqua corrente non calda (fig. n°23);
è ammesso l’impiego di sapone neutro edi una spazzola
morbida, per rimuovere lo sporco più ostinato.
N.B.: Non utilizzate il climatizzatore senza i filtri aria, per
evitare possibili guasti anche gravi all’apparecchio.
Il “Vort Kryo onlyone” è inoltre dotato di 2 filtri a carboni
attivi installati come nella fig. n°24.
I carboni attivi, hanno la caratteristica di filtrare odori e
sostanze come il fumo di sigaretta. Grazie ad essi, l’aria
della stanza sarà più pulita e salubre.
Se ne suggerisce pertanto la sostituzione ogni 3 mesi.
I filtri a carboni attivi non vanno lavati o puliti in quanto lo
speciale involucro assorbente interno si impregna delle
sostanze assorbite che non possono essere rimosse.

Pulizia esterna
• Prima di pulire il climatizzatore accertarsi sempre di
aver scollegato la spina di alimentazione.
• Pulire le superfici esterne dell’apparecchio solamente
con un panno morbido leggermente umido.
• Non impiegare prodotti abrasivi e/o corrosivi per pulire
la macchina.
• Non utilizzare un panno ruvido e/o troppo imbevuto
d’acqua; l’acqua che penetrasse all’interno del
climatizzatore potrebbe determinare gravi danni.

The “Vort Kryo onlyone” air conditioner is a fixed “all in
one” appliance, which consists of a single unit to be
installed in the room to be conditioned and which
contains all the components required for correct
operation.
The air conditioner represents the ideal solution for
installation (in domestic and/or commercial settings)
where the installation of external equipment is not
possible.
In fact, the “Vort Kryo onlyone” system does not require
an external unit and so does not compromise the
appearance of the building; the only parts visible from
the outside are the grilles, which are indispensable for
heat exchange.

• The appliance must be connected to an efficient
earthing system in accordance with applicable
electrical safety standards. If in doubt, ask a qualified
electrician to check your system.
• Do not switch the air conditioner on until it has been
correctly and completely installed.
• Regularly inspect the appliance for visible defects. If
the appliance does not function correctly, switch it off
and contact Vortice* immediately.
• A multi-pole switch must be used to install the
appliance. The gap between the switch contacts must
be no less than 3 mm.
• The electrical power supply/socket to which the
appliance is to be connected must be able to provide
the maximum electrical power required by the
appliance. If it cannot do so, arrange for a qualified
electrician to make the necessary modifications.
• Do not position the front of the air conditioner at a
distance of less than 50 cm from walls, furniture or
curtains.
• The air conditioner must not be used in wet or very
humid environments.
• Do not install the appliance near live flames, ovens,
heaters or hot surfaces.
• Do not allow aggressive chemical substances to come
into contact with the unit.
• Make sure that the power cable does not come into
contact with sharp surfaces or anything that could
break or damage it; do not roll up the cable, even when
the appliance is switched off.
• Never attempt to repair the air conditioner by yourself:
such action will immediately invalidate the warranty:
always contact the Vortice certified technical support
centre.
• Before carrying out any ordinary or extraordinary
maintenance, make sure that the plug has been
removed from the power socket.
• Do not stand in front of the cold air jet given off by the
appliance for long periods; make sure that there is a
continuous exchange of air in the room in which the air
conditioner is installed.
• Do not spray water onto the appliance.
• Keep the appliance's intake and outlet grilles free and
uncovered.
• Never use this appliance without filters.
• If the appliance does not function correctly or develops
a fault, turn it off and contact Vortice* immediately.
Ensure that only genuine original Vortice spares are
used for any repairs.
• Specifications for the power supply must correspond
to the electrical data on data plate A (fig. n°2).

INSTALLATION
Positioning the appliance
(fig. n°4)
In order to assure the best possible performance of the
air conditioner and to avoid breakages and
malfunctions, the appliance must be installed correctly.
It is recommended to read carefully and strictly follow
the installation instructions given below.
• The air conditioner must be installed on an external
perimeter wall in the room.
• To assure the correct inlet flow of air in and out from
the external grilles, before drilling the holes make sure
that there are no obstacles within a radius of 2 metres
on the outside.
Maintain the minimum spaces
around the appliance indicated in the “assembly
template” sheet.
• Make sure that the wall where the air conditioner is to
be installed possesses the structural characteristics
needed to support its weight.
Having identified the best position to install the air
conditioner, following the instructions given above,
make sure that there are no electrical cables, water or
drainage pipes, load-bearing structures, etc. in the wall
where the holes are to be drilled.
Installation template (fig. n°5 and 6)
Fix the “wall installation template” sheet to the wall in
the chosen position, having checked the above points.
Make sure that the sheet is level, using a spirit level.
Also make sure that:
• There are no cables, pipes or structures where the
holes are to be drilled;
• In a radius of 2 m around the template there are no
obstacles which could reduce the performance of the
appliance or damage it.
• The assembly operations are followed strictly in
compliance with this manual.

Drilling holes in the wall (fig. n°7)
Make sure that the area around the external wall where
the air inlet and outlet holes are to be drilled is clear and
free from passers-by, animals or objects which could be
damaged or injured by the detritus produced during the
drilling operations.
Make sure that the area is surveyed during the drilling
operations and after when the 2 pipes are mounted.
AIR INLET AND OUTLET HOLES
• The holes must be drilled using suitable equipment
such as a diamond hollow cutter for concrete,
percussion drills with torque adjustment, protective
goggles and gloves, etc.
• Fix the installation template to the wall making sure it
is level.
• Drill a reference hole in the centre of the circumference
of the hole to be drilled; When using a hollow cutter,
this must have a diameter of 162 mm.
CAUTIONS: the holes MUST be drilled on a slant (from
inside towards the outside) of at least 3 degrees in order
to guarantee the correct outwards drainage of the condensation, by gravity. (fig. n°7)

Condensation drain pipe
(fig. n°8)
This air conditioner is equipped with two alternative
condensation extraction systems. Before completing
the installation of the appliance, it is important to select
the required system: please read the notes below carefully prior to making your choice.
SYSTEM “A”: drill a hole with a diameter of 30mm in the
corresponding position as indicated in the installation
template sheet. The water will drain outwards by gravity.
It is essential that you make sure that the hole slants
downwards (towards the outside) by at least 3°; then
connect the drain pipe, included in the accessories supplied, as described below:
• identify the rubber cap which closes the condensation
drain on the lower central part of the rear of the air
conditioner;
• remove it and connect the drain pipe on the rubber
connector end, as shown in fig. n°8
This solution allows the condensation to drain towards
the outside, conveyed in an appropriate manner; in this
case the closure cap of hole B must not be removed.
SYSTEM “B”:
• do not remove the cap over hole A
• instead, remove the cap closing hole B
• connect the drain pipe supplied to hole B, to drain the
condensation water into the relative drain and
container.
This solution is useful when it is not possible to drain
the condensation directly outside.

Fixing the support bracket
(fig. n°9)
The “installation template” sheet shows the holes for fixing the metal support needed to hook the machine
onto the wall.
• drill the 6 holes (diameter 8mm) shown in black on the
template; if the wall is not very strong, also use the
other holes in order to assure the required solidity of
the anchorage.
• The manufacturer shall not be liable for the incorrect
fixing of the metal air conditioner support bracket to
the wall.

Installing the pipes (fig. n°10)
- Having drilled the 2 holes, diameter 162mm, insert the
pipes supplied.
- The 160mm diam. pipe must be inserted in the right
hand hole: warm air is extracted through this pipe.
- The pipe must be 10 mm longer than the wall
thickness; cut the pipe to the right length using an
ordinary hand saw, making sure to respect the length
and checking that the pipe slant is coherent with the
hole drilled in the wall.
- In order to facilitate the insertion of the pipe in the
hole, beat it with a rubber hammer until it reaches the
correct position, flush with the outside wall.
- Follow the same procedure described above for the
150mm pipe, which is inserted in the left hand hole.
- Having positioned the 2 pipes, complete the operation
by mounting the fixing rings and locking them into
place using silicon glue or plugs/screws, to be
inserted in the relative holes.

Assembling the external grilles
(fig. n°11-12-13-14)
The grilles are made of pliable plastic and can therefore
be bent to make them easier to insert in the pipes which
have already been placed and fixed in the wall. It is
recommended to bend and release the 2 grilles several
times in order to facilitate this operation.
- First of all insert the cord supplied inside the hole in
the centre of the grille and knot into position. (fig. n°11)
- Having fixed the cord, bend the grille with one hand
and insert it into the pipe, holding the cord with the
other hand, in order to stop the grille from slipping and
falling outside. (fig. n°12)
- Once the grille comes out of the other end of the pipe
release it and position correctly, with the fins
positioned vertically. (fig. n°13)
- It is important to make sure that both grilles are in the
correct position. (see from fig. n°12 to fig.14). Before
inserting the grilles in the pipes, it is advisable to add
a little silicon glue around the internal edge of the
grille.
- Fix the other end of the cord as shown in figure n°14
or in any other easy and safe manner.
To simplify this process, whenever possible, it is
advisable to mount the grilles from the outside, fixing
them with silicon glue and screws and plugs if
required. In any case the fins must always be placed
vertically.

Assembling the appliance to the wall
(fig. n°15-16-17)
Having made sure that the bracket, air exchange pipes
and condensation drain pipe have been mounted
correctly and securely, and having checked the power
source and availability of an electrical socket to plug the
appliance into, the air conditioner can be hooked onto
the bracket and the assembly can be completed, as
described below:

• Hook the machine to the bracket and centre the
rectangular fixing holes on the back, as shown in fig.
n°15, remembering to not lift the appliance by the
front panel but always by the metal structure on the
sides. (fig. n°16)
• Having hooked the air conditioner onto the wall
bracket, make sure that the rear lies flush to the wall,
leaving no gaps or slants.
• Make sure that the fan conduit on the rear of the
appliance is correctly centred with the pipe in the wall.

9 FLAP key: selects the various flap positions to
modify the direction (upwards or downwards) of
the flow of air from the air conditioner. The machine
will automatically set the flap to the best position
according to the selected operating mode: it is not
recommended to modify the flap position, which is
set automatically by the appliance.
10 NIGHT TIME key: selects the best operating mode
for night-time use: in this mode, the air conditioner
automatically sets the temperatures and fan
speed.
11 RESET key: resets the remote control, deleting
and resetting all functions and pre-set times.
12 RESISTOR key: used to switch the post-heating
resistor, which is used to improve the performance
of the appliance in heating mode when the external
temperature is below 0°C, on or off.

Air renewal (fig. n°18)
When the air renewal and exchange system is open (see
fig. n°18), the air conditioner automatically exchanges
the air in the room: in this mode, fresh air enters the
room from outside. The air renewal system can be
opened or closed at any time. Clearly, with the system
in the “closed” position, the air conditioner guarantees
better performance. It is therefore recommended to
used the air renewal system in the room fitted with “Vort
Kryo onlyone” only for a few minutes every day.

Insertion and replacement of remote
control batteries (fig. n°19)
Open the battery compartment on the rear of the remote
control by lifting the hook on the flap.
Insert 2 AAA batteries (NOT INCLUDED), making sure
that the polarity ( “+” and “-“) is correct.
Close the flap.
Press ON/OFF key to check that the remote control is
working correctly.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the filters

The air filter must be cleaned regularly to maintain the
performance of the air conditioner and prevent serious
malfunctions. It is therefore recommended to clean the
air filter at least once every 15 days. A clean filter will
guarantee greater efficiency and improve the quality of
the air in the room.
To clean the air filter, proceed as follows:
-switch the appliance off and remove the plug from the
power socket.
-Lift the upper grille as shown in fig. n°20-21, to access
the air filter inserted in its housing (2 side guides)
-Lightly bend the filter to extract it from its seat, as
shown in fig. n°22
-Wash the filter with running water not hot (fig. n°23);
neutral soap and a soft brush may be used to remove
stubborn dirt.
N.B.: Do not use the air conditioner without the air filter,
to prevent serious damage to the appliance.
The “Vort Kryo onlyone” is also fitted with 2 active
carbon filters, installed as shown in fig. n°24
Active carbons filter odours and substances such as
cigarette smoke. These make the air in the room cleaner
and healthier. It is recommended to replace these every
3 months. The active carbon filters cannot be washed or
cleaned as the special internal absorbent wrapper is
impregnated with the absorbed substances that cannot
be removed.

• Vérifier le poids de l'appareil avant de le soulever ou
de le déplacer et prendre toutes les précautions
nécessaires pour éviter des blessures ou des dégâts
matériels.
Il est conseillé de ne pas sortir l'appareil de son
emballage avant d'avoir positionné le boîtier près du
point d'installation.
• Ce climatiseur a été conçu et fabriqué pour rafraîchir
l'air et chauffer les locaux d'habitation : il doit être
utilisé à cette fin. Le fabricant n'est pas responsable
des dommages induits par un usage incorrect de
l'appareil ou par une mauvaise installation.

l’appareil. Assurer un renouvellement d'air régulier
dans la pièce où est installé le climatiseur.

refoulement de l'appareil.
• Ne pas utiliser l'appareil sans ses filtres.
• En cas de disfonctionnement et/ou de panne, éteindre

Après-vente Vortice. En cas de réparation, exiger
l'emploi de pièces détachées d'origine Vortice.
• Les caractéristiques du réseau électrique doivent
correspondre à celles qui sont inscrites sur la plaquette

INSTALLATION
Positionnement de l’appareil
(fig. n°4)
Pour optimiser les performances du climatiseur et éviter
les pannes et les ruptures, l'installation doit être réalisée
de manière appropriée. Il est conseillé de lire et de
suivre attentivement les conseils d'installation cidessous.
• Le climatiseur doit être installé sur un mur donnant sur
l'extérieur.
• Pour réaliser correctement l'arrivée et la sortie d'air
par les grilles, s'assurer qu'il n'y a aucun obstacle à
l'extérieur dans un rayon de 2 m avant de percer les
deux ouvertures.
Conserver les espaces de
dégagement minimums indiqués sur la feuille "gabarit
de montage" autour de l'appareil.
• S'assurer que le mur sur lequel on s'apprête à installer
le climatiseur est suffisamment solide pour soutenir
son poids.
Après avoir déterminé la position optimale pour installer
le climatiseur en suivant les explications données aux
points précédents, s'assurer que la zone dans laquelle
seront percés les deux ouvertures dans le mur n'est pas
traversée par des câbles électriques, des tuyaux d'eau
ou d'évacuation, des structures portantes, etc.

Gabarit d'installation (fig. n°5 et 6)
Fixer la feuille “gabarit d'installation au mur” dans la
position choisie après avoir effectué les vérifications indiquées aux points précédents. Veiller à bien positionner la feuille à plat, vérifier avec un niveau. Vérifier
également les points suivants.
• Il ne doit pas y avoir de câbles, de tuyaux ou de
structures en face des ouvertures envisagées.
• Dans un rayon de 2 m, il ne doit pas y avoir d'obstacle
susceptible de réduire les performances de l'appareil
ou de l'endommager.
• Les opérations de montage doivent être exécutées
conformément aux explications données dans ce
manuel.

Réalisation des ouvertures dans le
mur (fig. n°7)
S'assurer que l'extérieur du mur où sera fixé l'appareil,
en face de la zone de perçage des bouches d'entrée et
de sortie d'air, est libre et ne sert pas au passage de
personnes, d'animaux ou d'objets qui pourraient être
exposés aux projections issues de l'opération.
S'assurer que la zone est surveillée jusqu'à la fin de
l'ouverture et du montage des deux tuyaux.
BOUCHES D'ENTRÉE ET DE SORTIE D'AIR
• Les ouvertures doivent être percées avec des outils
adaptés notamment, une fraise à godet diamantée
pour mur, une perceuse à percussion avec régulateur
de couple, des lunettes et des gants de protection,
etc.
• Fixer le gabarit d'installation à plat sur le mur.
• Pratiquer un trou de référence au centre de l'ouverture
à réaliser. La fraise à godet doit avoir un diamètre de
162 mm.
ATTENTION : il est important que les ouvertures soient
inclinées vers le bas (de l'intérieur vers l'extérieur) d'au
moins trois degrés pour permettre l'évacuation des
condensats par gravité. (fig. n°7)

Tuyau de drainage des condensats

Ce climatiseur possède deux systèmes alternatifs
d'expulsion automatique de l'eau de condensation.
Avant de terminer l'installation de l'appareil, il est important de déterminer celui que l'on souhaite adopter. Il
est conseillé de lire attentivement les remarques ci-dessous avant de prendre une décision.
SYSTÈME “A” Percer un trou de 30 mm de diamètre en
s'aidant du gabarit placé dans la même position. L'eau
doit s'écouler vers l'extérieur par gravité. Il est donc important de s'assurer que l'ouverture a une pente descendante de 3°, de l’intérieur vers l'extérieur.
Connecter le tuyau de décharge livré avec les accessoires de série en suivant les instructions ci-dessous.
• Repérer le bouchon en caoutchouc qui ferme
l'évacuation des condensats à l'arrière, en bas et au
centre du climatiseur.
• L'enlever et connecter le tuyau d'évacuation du côté
du raccord en caoutchouc comme sur la fig._._
Cette première solution permet d'évacuer convenablement l'eau de condensation vers l’extérieur. Dans ce
cas, le bouchon qui ferme l'ouverture B ne doit pas être
enlevé.
SYSTÈME “B”
• Ne pas enlever le bouchon de l'ouverture A.
• Enlever le bouchon qui ferme l'ouverture B.
• Connecter le tuyau de décharge fourni avec l'appareil
à l'ouverture B de façon à conduire l'eau vers
l'évacuation correspondante ou vers le réservoir
spécialement préparé.
Cette seconde solution est utile quand il n'est pas possible de décharger directement les condensats vers
l'extérieur.

Fixation de l'attache de support

Les grilles sont fabriquées en matière plastique
déformable. Elles peuvent être pliées pour faciliter leur
introduction dans les tuyaux installés et fixés dans le
mur. Il est conseillé de plier et de relâcher plusieurs
fois les deux grilles pour faciliter l'opération.
- Introduire d'abord la corde livrée avec l'appareil à
l'intérieur du trou au centre des grilles et la bloquer en
faisant un noeud en face du trou. (fig. n°11)
- Après avoir fixé la corde, plier la grille d'une main et
l'introduire dans le tuyau en tenant la corde de l'autre
main pour éviter qu'elle ne tombe à l’extérieur.

- Quand la grille apparaît de l'autre coté du tuyau, la
relâcher et la positionner correctement avec les
ailettes à la verticale. (fig. n°13)
- Il est important de vérifier que les deux grilles sont
bien positionnées. (voir. de fig. n°12 à fig. n°14). Avant
d'introduire les grilles dans les tuyaux, il est conseillé
d'étaler de la colle au silicone sur leur bord intérieur.
- Fixer l'autre extrémité de la corde comme le montre la
figure 14 ou d'une autre façon simple et sure.

La feuille “gabarit d'installation” reproduit les trous de
fixation pour l'attache métallique destinée à accrocher
l'appareil au mur.
• Percer les 6 trous (diamètre 8 mm) indiqués en noir sur
le gabarit. Si le mur n'est pas très solide, utiliser aussi
les autres trous pour améliorer la stabilité de
l'ancrage.
• Le fabricant décline toute responsabilité en cas de
mauvaise fixation au mur de l'attache métallique pour
le support du climatiseur.

Installation des tuyaux (fig. n°10)
- Après avoir réalisé deux ouvertures de 162 mm de
diamètre, y introduire les tuyaux livrés avec l'appareil.
- Introduire le tuyau de 160 mm de diamètre dans le trou
de droite : il servira à expulser l'air chaud.
- La longueur du tuyau doit être égale à l'épaisseur du
mur plus 10 mm. Couper le tuyau à la longueur ainsi
calculée avec une scie manuelle classique. La
longueur et la pente du tuyau doivent correspondre à
l'ouverture pratiquée dans le mur.
- Pour faciliter l'introduction du tuyau dans l'ouverture,
le taper avec un marteau en caoutchouc jusqu'à
obtenir la position voulue, au ras du mur extérieur.
- Suivre la même procédure pour le tuyau de 150 mm et
l'introduire dans l'ouverture gauche.
- Après avoir positionné les 2 tuyaux, terminer
l'opération en montant les anneaux de fixation et les
bloquer avec de la colle au silicone ou des chevilles et
des vis à introduire dans les trous spécialement
prévus.
Pour simplifier l'opération, il est conseillé si possible de
monter les grilles de l'extérieur et de les fixer avec de la
colle au silicone et éventuellement des vis et des chevilles. Dans ce cas, les ailettes doivent être positionnées à la verticale.

Montage de l'appareil au mur

Après avoir vérifié que le montage de l'attache des
deux tuyaux d'échange d'air et du tuyau d'évacuation
de la consendation est correct et sûr, que l'alimentation
électrique est disponible et qu'il existe une prise adaptée au branchement de l'appareil, accrocher le climatiseur à l'attache puis terminer le montage en suivant les
instructions ci-dessous.
• Accrocher l'appareil à l'attache et centrer les trous de
fixation rectangulaires arrière comme le montre la
figure n°15. Ne pas soulever l'appareil en le saisissant
au niveau du panneau frontal mais utiliser la structure
métallique latérale. (fig. n°16)
• Après avoir accroché le climatiseur à la fixation
murale, s'assurer que le dos de l'appareil adhère
parfaitement au mur et qu'il est bien droit.
• Vérifier que le conduit du ventilateur qui sort à l'arrière
de l'appareil est correctement centré à l'intérieur du
tuyau installé dans le mur. (fig. n°17)
N.B.
L’appareil doit être installé dans une position qui facilite
l'accès à la prise électrique à laquelle il est connecté.

Renouvellement de l'air (fig. n°18)
Quand le système de renouvellement de l'air est ouvert
(voir
fig.
n°18),
le
climatiseur
renouvelle
automatiquement l’air de la pièce : il envoie dans le local
l'air frais de l'extérieur. Le système de renouvellement
de l'air peut être ouvert et fermé à tout moment.
Naturellement, quand il est en position “fermé” les
performances du climatiseur sont meilleures. Il est
conseillé de renouveler l'air de la pièce climatisée par
“Vort Kryo onlyone” quelques minutes par jour
seulement.
Installation et remplacement des
piles de la télécommande (fig. n°19)

Ouvrir le logement des piles sur la coque arrière de la
télécommande, soulever le crochet qui retient le volet
d'ouverture.
Introduire 2 piles type AAA (NON FOURNIES) et
contrôler que leur polarité (signes “+” et “-“) est
respectée lors de leur installation dans le compartiment.
Refermer le volet.
Appuyer sur la touche ON/OFF pour vérifier le
fonctionnement de la télécommande.

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
Nettoyage des filtres

Le filtre à air doit être nettoyé régulièrement pour
préserver les performances du climatiseur et éviter des
pannes graves. Il est conseillé de nettoyer le filtre au
moins une fois tous les 15 jours. Un filtre propre est plus
efficace et améliore la qualité de l'air dans la pièce.
Pour nettoyer le filtre, procéder de la façon suivante :
- éteindre l’appareil et débrancher la fiche de la prise de
courant.
- Soulever la grille supérieure comme le montre la figure
n°20-21 pour accéder au filtre à air installé dans son
logement (2 guides latéraux).
- Plier légèrement le filtre pour l'extraire de son siège
comme le montre la fig. n°22.
- Laver le filtre à l'eau courante en évitant l'eau chaude
(fig. n°23). Il est possible d'utiliser un savon neutre et
une brosse souple pour enlever les impuretés les plus
tenaces.
N.B. Ne pas utiliser le climatiseur sans filtre à air,
l'appareil pourrait être gravement endommagé.
“Vort Kryo onlyone” est équipé de 2 filtres à charbons
actifs installés comme le montre la fig. n°24.
Les charbons actifs filtrent les odeurs et différentes
substances comme la fumée de cigarette. Ils
assainissent l'air de la pièce. Il est conseillé de les
remplacer tous les trois mois. Les filtres à charbons
actifs ne doivent pas être lavés ou nettoyés car leur
enveloppe absorbante interne s'imprègne de
substances qui ne peuvent pas être éliminées.

Nettoyage extérieur
• Avant de nettoyer le climatiseur, s'assurer que la fiche
est sortie de la prise de courant.
• Nettoyer les surfaces extérieures de l’appareil en
utilisant exclusivement un chiffon légèrement humide.
• Ne pas utiliser de produits abrasifs ou corrosifs pour
nettoyer l'appareil.
• Ne pas utiliser de chiffon rugueux ou trop mouillé : en
pénétrant dans le climatiseur, l'eau pourrait gravement

Technische Eigenschaften
Der “Vort Kryo onlyone” ist ein fest installiertes “all in
one”-Klimagerät, bei dem alle funktionsrelevanten
Vorrichtungen in einer einzigen, im zu klimatisierenden
Raum installierten Einheit untergebracht sind.
Es ist die ideale Lösung für alle privat und/oder
kommerziell genutzten Räume, in denen eine
Klimatisierung mit im Freien installierten Produkten nicht
möglich ist.
Das “Vort Kryo onlyone”-System keine an der
Außenwand montierte Einheit hat, und dadurch die
Ästhetik der Fassade nicht beeinträchtigt wird. Von
außen sind lediglich die zwei für den Luftaustausch
erforderlichen Gitter zu sehen.

Der “Vort Kryo onlyone” wird in einer Kartonverpackung
und ist in dieser durch zweckgeeignetes Material vor
Transportschäden geschützt. In der Verpackung
befindet sich auch das Handbuch mit der
Bedienungsanleitung, das integrierender Bestandteil
des Gerätes ist, und vom Benutzer aufmerksam
durchgelesen und sorgfältig aufbewahrt werden muss,
damit ein korrekter Gebrauch des Gerätes gewährleistet
ist.
Beim Öffnen der Verpackung sollte auch überprüft
werden, ob alle für den Betrieb des Gerätes
erforderlichen Komponenten geliefert wurden.

• Die Ansaug-und Auslassgitter des Gerätes stets
freihalten.
• Das Gerät niemals ohne Filter benutzen.
• Bei Betriebsstörungen und/oder Defekt das Gerät
sofort ausschalten und einen Vortice-Vertragshändler
verständigen. Für eine eventuelle Reparatur die
Verwendung vonVortice-Originalersatzteilen verlangen.
• Die elektrischen Daten der Netzversorgung müssen
den Angaben auf dem Typenschild A entsprechen
(Abb. n°2).

INSTALLATION
Positionieren des Gerätes
(abb. n°4)
Für eine optimale Leistung des Gerätes, und um
Beschädigungen oder Defekte zu verhindern, muss
das Gerät sachgemäß installiert werden. Deshalb
muss die folgende Installationsanleitung aufmerksam
durchgelesen und genau befolgt werden.
• Das Gerät muss an einer Außenwand des zu
klimatisierenden Raumes installiert werden.
• Damit eine korrekte Zu- und Abluftführung über die
Außengitter gewährleistet werden kann, muss vor dem
Ausführen der Löcher sichergestellt werden, dass in
einem Umkreis von 2 Metern keine Hindernisse
vorhanden sind. Um das Gerät herum sind die auf der
“Montageschablone”
eingezeichneten
Mindestabstände einzuhalten.
• Die Mauer, an der das Gerät installiert wird, muss das
Gewicht des Gerätes halten können.
An Hand der o. a. Kriterien die optimale Position für die
Installation festlegen und sich vergewissern, dass der
Bereich, in dem die zwei Löcher durch die Wand
gebohrt werden, frei von Strom-, Wasser- oder
anderen Leitungen, tragenden Strukturen usw. ist.
Montageschablone

Die “Schablone für die Wandmontage” an der an Hand
der obigen Kriterien festgelegten Stelle befestigen. Die
Schablone mit einer Wasserwaage ausrichten. Sich vergewissern, dass:
• dort, wo die Löcher ausgeführt werden sollen, keine
Kabel, Rohrleitungen oder andere Hindernisse
vorhanden sind.
• in einem Umkreis von 2 Metern keine Hindernisse
vorhanden sind, die die Leistung des Gerätes
beeinträchtigen oder das Gerät beschädigen könnten.
• die Arbeit wie in diesem Handbuch beschrieben
ausgeführt wird.

Ausführung der Löcher in der Wand
(Abb. n°7)
Vor Beginn der Bohrarbeiten sicherstellen, dass der an
der Außenseite der Wand befindliche Bereich, in dem
die zwei Löcher durch die Wand gebohrt werden, frei
von Hindernissen ist, und keine Personen oder Tiere
vorbeigehen, oder Gegenstände vorbeitransportiert
werden, die durch bei der Arbeit anfallenden Schutt
verletzt bzw. beschädigt werden könnten.
Die Baustelle muss bis zum Abschluss der Installation
der zwei Rohre überwacht werden.
ZU- UND ABLUFTLÖCHER
• Die Löcher zum Zu- und Abführen der Luft müssen mit
geeigneten
Werkzeugen
und
PSA
wie
Diamanttopffräsern für Mauern, Schlagbohrern mit
stufenloser Drehzahlregelung, Schutzbrille und
Schutzhandschuhen usw. ausgeführt werden.

ACHTUNG: Damit das Kondenswasser ungehindert von
selber nach außen abfließen kann, müssen die Löcher
in der Wand unbedingt mit mindestens 3° von innen
nach außen abfallend geneigt ausgeführt werden.

Kondenswaserableitung
(Abb. n°8)
Die automatische Kondenswasserabführung kann auf
zwei verschiedene Arten erfolgen. Die Entscheidung,
welches System zur Anwendung kommen soll, muss
unbedingt vor der Beendigung der Installation des Gerätes getroffen werden: Um die richtige Wahl zu treffen,
sollten die folgenden Hinweise aufmerksam durchgelesen werden.
SYSTEM “A”: Ein Loch mit 30 mm Durchmesser wie
auf der Montageschablone eingezeichnet ausführen.
Das Wasser soll durch dieses Loch nach außen abfließen. Deshalb muss das Loch unbedingt von innen nach
außen abfallend mit einer Neigung von 3° ausgeführt
werden. Das zum Standardzubehör gehörende Abflussrohr wie folgt anschließen:
• Den Gummiverschluss des Kondenswasserablasses
in der Mitte der unteren Hälfte der Geräterückwand
• entfernen
und
das
Abflussrohr
mit
dem
Gummianschluss wie in der Abbildung gezeigt
anschließen - Abb. n°8
Mit diesem System kann das Kondenswasser nach
außen abgeleitet werden; der Verschluss des Loches B
darf nicht entfernt werden.
SYSTEM “B”:
• Den Verschluss des Loches A nicht entfernen.
• Den Verschluss vom Loch B nehmen.
• Das mitgelieferte Ablassrohr an das Loch B
anschließen, so dass das Kondenswasser in den
Abfluss oder einen Behälter geleitet wird.
Diese Lösung ist angesagt, wenn das Kondenswasser
aus diversen Gründen nicht ins Freie geleitet werden
kann.

Befestigung des Haltebügels (Abb. n°9)
Montage der äußeren Gitter
Auf der “Montageschablone” sind die Löcher zum Befestigen des Metallbügels, an dem das Gerät an die
Wand gehängt wird, eingezeichnet.
• Die sechs in schwarzer Farbe auf der Schablone
eingezeichneten Löcher mit jeweils 8 mm
Durchmesser bohren. Sollte die Mauer eher schwach
sein, empfiehlt es sich, auch die anderen Löcher zu
benutzen, damit das Gerät wirklich gut befestigt
werden kann.
• Der Hersteller haftet nicht für eine nicht korrekte
Befestigung des Haltebügels an der Wand.

Die Gitter sind aus verformbarem Kunststoff und können daher problemlos in die in der Wand angebrachten
Rohre eingepasst werden. Die Gitter vorher am besten
mehrmals biegen und wieder loslassen.
- Zuerst die mitgelieferte Schnur durch das Loch in der
Mitte der Gitter fädeln und an der Rückseite einen Knoten machen. (Abb. n°11)
- Dann das Gitter mit einer Hand biegen, in das Rohr
schieben, und mit der anderen Hand die Schnur festhalten, damit das Gitter nicht nach außen fällt.
- Sobald das Gitter auf der anderen Rohrseite austritt,
kann es ausgelassen und mit den Lamellen in senkrechter Stellung korrekt platziert werden. (Abb. n°13)
- Es ist zu kontrollieren, dass beide Gitter korrekt sitzen.
(s. Abb. n°12 bis Abb.14). Vor dem Einsetzen der Gitter
in die Rohre sollte an der Innenkante ein Silikonkleber
aufgebracht werden.
- Das andere Ende der Schnur wie in Abb. 14 , oder an
einer anderen sicheren und praktischen Stelle befestigen.

Installation der Leitungen (Abb. n°10)
- Zwei Löcher mit jeweils 162 mm Durchmesser bohren
und die mitgelieferten Rohre einstecken.
- Das Rohr mit 160 mm Durchmesser muss in das rechte Loch eingesetzt werden, durch das die Warmluft
abgeführt wird.
- Die Rohrlänge muss die Stärke der Wand plus 10 mm
betragen: Das Rohr mit einer handelsüblichen Handsäge auf das erforderliche Maß zuschneiden; dabei
berücksichtigen, dass die Länge und die Neigung des
Rohres mit dem in der Wand gebohrten Loch übereinstimmen müssen.
- Das Rohr gegebenenfalls mit Hilfe eines Gummihammers bündig in das Loch in der Mauer einführen.
- Auf dieselbe Weise das Rohr mit 150 mm Durchmesser in das linke Mauerloch einführen.
- Danach die Befestigungsringe montieren und mit Silikonkleber oder Schrauben/Dübeln in den zu diesem
Zweck vorgesehenen Löchern befestigen.

Aus praktischen Gründen sollten die Gitter wenn möglich von außen montiert und mit Silikonkleber und gegebenenfalls auch mit Schrauben und Dübeln befestigt

Montage des Gerätes an der Wand

Den Haltebügel, die zwei Rohre für den Luftaustausch
und die Kondenswasserableitung lt. Anleitung montieren. Sich vergewissern, dass alles korrekt montiert
wurde, und dass eine für die Leistung des Gerätes passende Stromversorgung und eine passende Steckdose
zur Verfügung stehen. Das Gerät einhängen und wie
folgt befestigen:
• Das Gerät einhängen und die rechteckigen
Befestigungslöcher an der Geräterückwand wie in
Abb. n°15 gezeigt ausrichten; dabei darf das Gerät
nicht am Frontpaneel angehoben werden, sondern
immer nur an der seitlichen Metallstruktur. (Abb. n°16)
• Das am Bügel hängende Gerät muss direkt an der
Wand anliegen; zwischen Wand und Gerät sollte kein
Abstand sein, und das Gerät sollte nicht schief
hängen.
• Darauf achten, dass die hinten aus dem Gerät
ragende Luftleitung korrekt im in der Wand
angebrachten Rohr sitzt. (Abb. n°17)

Luftaustausch (abb.n°18)
Ist das Luftumwälz- und -austauschsystem offen (s.
Abb. n°18), wird die Raumluft vom Klimagerät
automatisch erneuert, d. h., es wird von außen Frischluft
zugeführt. Die Frischluftzufuhr kann jederzeit
geöffnet/geschlossen werden. Natürlich ist die
Klimatisierungsleistung des Gerätes bei geschlossener
Frischluftzufuhr - Position “zu” - besser. Daher sollte der
von “Vort Kryo onlyone” klimatisierte Raum im Laufe des
Tages nur wenige Minuten gelüftet werden.

REINIGUNG UND WARTUNG
Reinigung der Filter (Abb. n°20-21-22-23-24)

Im die Leistung des Gerätes konstant zu halten und
unter Umständen auch schwere Schäden zu vermeiden,
muss der Luftfilter regelmäßig gereinigt werden. Der
Hersteller empfiehlt, den Luftfilter mindestens alle 15
Tage zu reinigen. Ein sauberer Filter ist effizienter und
verbessert die Raumluftqualität.
Den Filter folgendermaßen reinigen:
- Das Gerät ausschalten und den Netzstecker ziehen.
- Das obere Gitter wie in Abb. n°20-21 gezeigt anheben
und den in seinem Fach liegenden Filter freilegen (2
seitliche Führungen).
- Den Filter leicht biegen und wie in Abb. n°22 gezeigt
herausziehen.
- Den Filter unter fließendem Wasser nicht zu warm
reinigen (abb. n°23). Zum Entfernen von hartnäckigem
Schmutz können auch neutrale Seife und eine weiche
Bürste verwendet werden.
Achtung: Um irreparable Schäden zu vermeiden, sollte
das Gerät niemals ohne Filter eingeschaltet werden.
Der “Vort Kryo onlyone” hat zwei Aktivkohlefilter - siehe
Abb. n°24
Diese Aktivkohlefilter filtern unangenehme Gerüche und
Substanzen wie zum Beispiel Zigarettenrauch. Dank
dieser Filter bleibt die Luft im klimatisierten Raum stets
sauber und gesund. Sie sollten daher alle drei Monate
ausgewechselt werden. Die Aktivkohlefilter dürfen
weder gewaschen noch gereinigt werden, da die von
der Spezialeinlage aufgenommenen Substanzen nicht
mehr entfernt werden können.

Características técnicas
El climatizador “Vort Kryo onlyone” es un equipo de tipo
fijo “all in one” que posee en un único aparato todos los
dispositivos necesarios para acondicionar el ambiente
en el que está ubicado.
El climatizador es la solución ideal para aquellos
entornos (domésticos y/o comerciales), donde no es
posible instalar equipos de exterior.
El sistema “Vort Kryo onlyone” no necesita unidad
exterior y, por ello, no modifica la estética del edificio;
las únicas partes visibles desde el exterior son las 2
rejillas, indispensables para el intercambio térmico.

atentamente y conservarse en un lugar seguro para
garantizar el uso correcto del producto.
Nada más abrir el embalaje, se recomienda comprobar
que contenga todos los accesorios necesarios para
garantizar el funcionamiento correcto del aparato. (fig.

su peso y aplicar todas las medidas de precaución
necesarias para evitar daños personales y materiales.
Se recomienda colocar la caja cerca del punto en el
que se ha de efectuar la instalación antes de sacar el
aparato del embalaje.
• Este climatizador ha sido proyectado y fabricado para
refrescar o calentar el ambiente en el que está
instalado y sólo puede ser utilizado con esta finalidad.
El fabricante no es responsable por los daños
inducidos o provocados por el uso o la instalación
incorrectos.
• Se recomienda conservar el embalaje hasta haber
completado la instalación.
• Una vez extraído el producto de su embalaje,

sido completada de modo correcto y definitivo.
• Inspeccionar periódicamente el aparato para controlar
que esté en perfecto estado. En caso de anomalía, no

Vortice.
• Instalar un interruptor magnetotérmico bipolar con
una separación entre contactos de 3 o más mm.
• Conectar el aparato a la red de alimentación eléctrica
o a una toma de corriente sólo si la capacidad de la
instalación es adecuada a su potencia máxima. Si no
se dispone de una red con estas características,
contactar inmediatamente con personal cualificado.
• No colocar el frontal del climatizador a menos de 50
cm de las paredes, los muebles y las cortinas.
• No utilizar el climatizador en lugares mojados o muy
húmedos.
• No instalar el aparato cerca de llamas libres, cocinas,
aparatos de calentamiento o superficies calientes.
• No permitir que el aparato entre en contacto con
sustancias químicas agresivas.
• Impedir que el cable de alimentación entre en
contacto con superficies cortantes o que puedan
deteriorarlo o dañarlo; no enrollarlo, ni siquiera
cuando el aparato esté apagado.
• No intentar reparar personalmente el climatizador; de
hacerlo,
la
garantía
quedará
invalidada
inmediatamente.
Ponerse
en
contacto
inmediatamente con un proveedor autorizado de
Vortice.
• Antes de realizar cualquier tipo de operación de
mantenimiento ordinario o extraordinario, comprobar
que el enchufe esté desconectado.
• Evitar la exposición prolongada del cuerpo al chorro
de aire frío que emite el aparato; es necesario
garantizar una buena ventilación en el local donde
está instalado el climatizador.
• No pulverizar ni derramar agua sobre el producto.
• No cubrir ni obstruir las rejillas de aspiración y salida
de aire del aparato.
• No utilizar el aparato sin los filtros.
• Si el aparato no funciona correctamente o se avería,
apagarlo y ponerse en contacto inmediatamente con
un proveedor autorizado de Vortice. Solicitar
recambios originales Vortice para la reparación.
• Los datos eléctricos de la red deben coincidir con los
de la placa A (fig. n°2).

INSTALACIÓN
Ubicación del aparato (fig. n°4)
Es necesario instalar correctamente el climatizador para
optimizar su rendimiento y evitar averías y roturas. Se
recomienda leer con atención y respetar estrictamente
las siguientes instrucciones de instalación.
• El climatizador se debe instalar en una pared
perimetral exterior del local.
• Para garantizar el flujo correcto de aire en entrada y
salida por las rejillas exteriores, comprobar que en el
exterior no haya ningún tipo de obstáculo en un radio
de 2 m, antes de efectuar los dos orificios. Mantener
alrededor del aparato los espacios mínimos indicados
en la “plantilla de montaje”.
• Comprobar que la pared de instalación del
climatizador posea las características necesarias para
soportar su peso.
Una vez localizada la posición adecuada para instalar el
climatizador según lo descrito en los puntos anteriores,
comprobar que no haya cables eléctricos, tubos de
suministro de agua o de desagüe, estructuras
portantes, etc. en la zona de la pared donde se
efectuarán los dos orificios.

Plantilla de instalación (fig. n°5 y 6)
Tras haber comprobado que se cumplan todos los
requisitos anteriores, fijar la “plantilla de instalación en la
pared” en la posición elegida. Asegurarse de que la
plantilla esté nivelada, utilizando un nivel. Asimismo,
comprobar que:
• no pasen cables, tubos ni estructuras por los puntos
donde se deben realizar los orificios;
• no haya obstáculos que puedan reducir las
prestaciones del aparato o dañarlo, en una
circunferencia de 2 m;
• las operaciones de montaje se hayan realizado
respetando las instrucciones contenidas en este
manual.

Realización de los orificios en la Tubo de evacuación del agua de
pared (fig. n°7)

Comprobar que la zona exterior que coincide con los
puntos donde se realizarán los dos orificios de entrada
y salida del aire no esté ocupada por personas,
animales o cosas, ya que existe el riesgo de lesión o
daños por caída de los escombros generados durante
la operación de taladro.
Supervisar la zona hasta que finalicen las operaciones
de taladro y montaje de los dos tubos.
ORIFICIOS DE ENTRADA Y SALIDA DE AIRE
• Estos orificios se deben realizar utilizando
herramientas adecuadas como, por ejemplo, fresas
de diamante de tipo campana para pared,
taladradoras de percusión con regulador de par, gafas
y guantes de protección, etc.
• Fijar la plantilla de instalación contra la pared y
comprobar que esté nivelada.
• Realizar un taladro de referencia en el centro de la
circunferencia del orificio que se ha de efectuar; la
fresa de tipo campana deberá tener un diámetro de
162 mm.
ATENCIÓN: es fundamental que los orificios tengan una
inclinación mínima de 3º hacia abajo (del interior al
exterior), para garantizar la correcta evacuación del
agua de condensación hacia el exterior por gravedad
(fig. n°7)

Este climatizador posee dos sistemas alternativos para
la eliminación automática del agua de condensación.
Antes de completar la instalación del aparato es
importante elegir uno de ellos: se recomienda leer
atentamente las siguientes instrucciones antes efectuar
la elección.
SISTEMA “A”: realizar un orificio de 30 mm de diámetro
en la posición indicada en la plantilla de instalación. El
agua será eliminada hacia el exterior por gravedad. Es
fundamental que el orificio tenga una inclinación de 3º
hacia abajo (del interior al exterior); conectar el tubo de
evacuación, que se incluye con los accesorios, como se
indica a continuación:
• localizar el tapón de goma que cierra la salida del
agua de condensación, situada en la parte inferior
central de la parte posterior del climatizador;
• quitarlo y conectar el empalme de goma del tubo de
evacuación, como se indica en la fig. n°8
Esta solución permite evacuar el agua de condensación
hacia el exterior, canalizándola de modo correcto. No
quitar el tapón de cierre del orificio B.
SISTEMA “B”:
• No quitar el tapón del orificio A.
• Extraer el tapón del orificio B.
• Conectar el tubo de evacuación, incluido de serie, en
el orificio B para evacuar el agua hacia un desagüe o
un recipiente adecuado.
Esta segunda solución es útil aunque no permita
evacuar el agua de condensación directamente hacia el
exterior.

Fijación del soporte (fig. n°9)
Montaje de las rejillas exteriores
En la “plantilla de instalación” se indican los puntos
donde se han de realizar los orificios para fijar el soporte
metálico de anclaje del aparato a la pared.
• Realizar los 6 taladros (diámetro 8 mm) negros
indicados en la plantilla; si la pared no es lo bastante
resistente, utilizar también el resto de orificios para
garantizar un anclaje sólido.
• El fabricante no es responsable de la fijación
incorrecta del soporte metálico utilizado para anclar el
climatizador a la pared.

Las rejillas son de plástico deformable y se pueden
doblar para introducirlas fácilmente en los tubos ya
instalados y fijados a la pared. Se recomienda doblar y
soltar varias veces las dos rejillas para facilitar la
operación.
- En primer lugar, introducir la cuerda incluida de serie
en el orificio central de las rejillas y bloquearla con un
nudo. (fig. n°11)
- Una vez fijada la cuerda, doblar con una mano la rejilla
e introducirla en el tubo sujetando la cuerda con la
mano contraria para evitar que la rejilla se caiga hacia el
exterior. (fig. n°12)
- Cuando la rejilla salga por el lado opuesto del tubo,
liberarla y colocarla correctamente con las pestañas en
posición vertical. (fig.13)
- Es importante comprobar que ambas rejillas estén en
la posición correcta. (ver de fig. n° 12 a fig.14). Antes de
introducir las rejillas en los tubos, se recomienda aplicar
cola de silicona en su borde interior.
- Fijar el otro extremo de la cuerda como muestra la
figura n°14 o de modo fácil y seguro.

Instalación de los tubos (fig. n°10)
• Una vez realizados los dos orificios de 162 mm de
diámetro, introducir los tubos incluidos de serie.
• Introducir el tubo de 160 mm de diámetro a la
derecha: tubo de salida del aire caliente.
• El tubo debe medir 10 mm más que el espesor de la
pared; cortar el tubo a la medida adecuada con un
serrucho y comprobar atentamente que su longitud e
inclinación sean coherentes con las del orificio
realizado en la pared.
• Para introducir el tubo en el orificio fácilmente,
golpearlo con un martillo de goma hasta que alcance
la posición correcta, a ras de la pared exterior.
• Repetir la secuencia de operaciones anterior para
introducir el tubo de 150 mm en el orificio de la
izquierda.
• Una vez colocados los dos tubos, montar los anillos
de fijación y bloquearlos con cola de silicona o
mediante tacos y tornillos utilizando los orificios
específicos.
Para facilitar el proceso se recomienda, en aquellos
casos en los que sea posible, montar las rejillas desde
el exterior y fijarlas con cola de silicona y eventualmente
con tornillos y tacos. Los difusores se deberán monta
siempre en posición vertical.

Montaje del aparato en la pared

Después de haber comprobado que el soporte y los dos
tubos de ventilación estén montados correctamente y
que se dispone de una toma de corriente adecuada
para conectar el aparato y garantizar el suministro de
energía eléctrica, enganchar el climatizador al soporte y
completar las operaciones de montaje como se indica a
continuación:
• Enganchar la máquina al soporte y centrar los orificios
de fijación rectangulares situados en la parte
posterior, como se indica en la fig. n°15 No sujetar el
aparato por la parte frontal al levantarlo, utilizar la
estructura metálica lateral. (fig. n°16)
• Una vez enganchado el climatizador en el soporte,
comprobar que su parte posterior esté pegada a la
pared, que no esté inclinada y que no haya ranuras.
• Comprobar que el conducto del ventilador que
sobresale por la parte posterior del aparato esté
centrado correctamente con el tubo de la pared.

climatizador. El aparato orientará automáticamente

Ventilación
Colocación y cambio de las baterías
del mando a distancia (fig. n°19)

Cuando el sistema de ventilación y cambio de aire está
abierto (ver fig. n°18), el climatizador ventila la
habitación automáticamente: en esta modalidad, entra
aire fresco en el ambiente desde el exterior. El sistema
de ventilación se puede abrir o cerrar en cualquier
momento. Obviamente, las prestaciones del
climatizador mejoran si el sistema de ventilación está
“cerrado”. Se recomienda ventilar el ambiente
climatizado por “Vort Kryo onlyone” sólo durante unos
minutos al día.
Levantar el gancho de la tapa para abrir el alojamiento
de las baterías situado en la parte posterior del mando
a distancia.
Introducir 2 baterías de tipo AAA (NO INCLUIDAS)
respetando las polaridades (signos “+” y “-“) de los
contactos del alojamiento.
Cerrar la tapa.

LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO

Limpieza de los filtros (fig. n°20-21-22-23-24)
Limpiar el filtro del aire con regularidad para garantizar
las prestaciones del climatizador y evitar averías graves.
Se recomienda limpiar el filtro al menos una vez cada 15
días. Un filtro limpio es más eficaz y mejora la calidad
del aire en la habitación.
Para limpiar el filtro de aire:
- Apagar el aparato y desconectar el enchufe.
- Levantar la rejilla superior como muestra las fig. n°2021 y localizar el filtro de aire en el alojamiento (2 guías
laterales).
- Doblar ligeramente el filtro para extraerlo, como
muestra la fig. n°22
- Lavar el filtro con agua corriente fría (fig. n°23); utilizar
jabón neutro y un cepillo suave para eliminar la
suciedad difícil.
NOTA: No utilizar el climatizador sin los filtros de aire,
podría dañarse gravemente.
“Vort Kryo onlyone” posee 2 filtros de carbón activo
instalados como muestra la fig. n°24
El carbón activo filtra los olores y algunas sustancias
como las contenidas en el humo del tabaco. Ayuda a
purificar el aire en la habitación. Por ello se recomienda
sustituirlo cada 3 meses. Los filtros de carbón activo no
se deben lavar ni limpiar puesto que las sustancias
absorbidas que impregnan el elemento absorbente no
pueden ser eliminadas.

Limpieza exterior
• Antes de limpiar el climatizador, comprobar que el
enchufe esté desconectado.
• Limpiar las superficies exteriores del aparato con un
paño suave ligeramente húmedo.
• No utilizar productos de limpieza abrasivos ni
corrosivos.
• No utilizar paños ásperos ni demasiado húmedos; si el
agua penetra el climatizador puede dañarlo
gravemente.
