naturale protagonista, il pesce, sia con quelle delle valli incentrata sulla polenta, la selvaggina e sul formaggio.
Una specialità da provare è Il “missoltino”,
ovvero l’agone che viene pescato nel mese di
giugno; viene essiccato, messo sotto sale, ed infine pressato in appositi contenitori. Altri piatti
conosciuti sono i filetti di pesce persico col risotto, i lavarelli e le piccole alborelle fritte. Ottimi i
formaggi che vengono prodotti negli alpeggi
locali come la “semuda”, lo “zincarlin” e il formaggio magro d’alpe. Disponibile presso gli uffici I.A.T. la lista dei ristoranti ed informazione
sulle varie sagre gastronomiche.

fish, or the cuisine of the valleys, with polenta, game, mushrooms and local
cheeses. Try the tasty fish dish “missoltino.” It
is white shad, which is caught in June, dried
and salted and finally pressed in tins. Other
well known dishes are perch filets with risotto,
the lavarets, and the small fried bleaks. The
alpine farms produce lovely cheeses like
“semuda,” “zincarlin,” and “alpe.” At the I.A.T.

Les restaurants de la Tremezzina et Val Menaggio
offrent nombreux plats typiques traditionelles sur
leurs menus; spécialités du lac avec son protagoniste naturel : le poisson et plats de la cuisine des vallées, centrée sur la « polenta », gibier et fromage.
On doit sûrement essayer le plat local : le “missoltino”, c’est à dire l’alose feinte, pêchée uniquement
au mois de juin, qui vient desséchée,mis sous sel et
enfin vient pressée dans des récipients spéciaux.
Autres spécialités sont les filets de perche avec le
Risotto, les lavarets et les petites ablettes frittes. Très
bons sont les fromages, qui viennent produits directement dans les alpages locaux, comme par exemple la “semuda”, le “zincarlin”, et le fromage maigre

typische Comer-See-Gericht “Missoltino” zu probieren: Dieses Köstlichkeit besteht aus „Maifisch“, der
im Juni gefischt und gedörrt wird, dann in Salz eingelegt und zum Schluss Blechdosen gepresst wird.
Andere bekannte Gerichte sind Barschfilet mit
Risotto, Felchen und kleine gebackene Ukeleien. Sehr
gut ist auch der Käse, der im heimischen Gebirge hergestellt wird, wie z. B. der “Semuda”, der “Zincarlin”
und der magere Bergkäse.
